Intro to BTS coming Monday. My apologies about saying BTS fans are little girls. You guys let me know down to their demographic numbers. Gotta say BTS fans are some true fans and I’m excited to dive deeper with you guys and go on this BTS journey. ✌️
Don't worry, you will slowly but surely correct those preconceptions of a boy band that many make towards BTS. We welcome you with open arms. Even if you don't become a fan, our goal is that you will find music that will enrich your life or at the very least you will have fun.

This man only checked out the music on 3 songs(don't think he turned on the subtitles)and already intrigued enough to check out more. May I suggest checkout the 5year old one shot "save me" MV? It's not just young girls that love BTS. I'm over 50. They are very popular with all ages, genders, races, religions, etc. They are so much more than just a "boy band." They write, compose, produce, dance, many play instruments and they are genuinely GOOD human beings. Their positive message of self love, how they inspire people to do good, etc. I've never seen anyone who really took the time to learn about BTS not walk away having a deep respect and admiration for them.
Man you're so wrong about Yoongi, a.k.a Suga in BTS, a.k.a. AgustD when rapping solo (his alter ego). He's one of the fastest rappers in Korea, you'll get to see that in their introduction video (I highly recommend the one by Ida S, updated version). He's a musical genius and his flow and cadence are from another world. He's so respected in the community and the members love him and look up to him. Armys also love him a lot because he's very intelligent, mature, serious, funny and so authentic. And in spite of looking like he's in his own world, he's just waiting for his lines. He might seem like he doesn't care but he's such a sweetheart, just a softie.
He's one of the coolest members because he's a wonderful composer and a really good producer of BTS. By the way, BTS has 3 rappers and four vocals. The boys write, compose and produce a lot of their songs. They are excellent singers and they can also dance while singing at the same time. They are at the top for a reason. Even though they look young, they've been around for 8 years. They are very professional at what they do.

I suggest you to watch "2021 festa bts room live" it’s like a mini online concert and it includes a lil of some of their songs and it shows how diverse their music is.

I enjoyed your reaction. Thank you for giving our boys a chance. "Blue blazer" is Suga. He did rap/sing in all 3 songs. You thought he curse during the first song, but he said "beat" not "b***h", lol. He is far from bored or unhappy. If anyone is the happiest to perform, it's Suga. He lives to make music. He even takes his music equipment on vacation. He's just very laid back.
The "orange suit" guy you think is one of the lead singers, is J-Hope, a rapper. He sings sometimes, but he's a rapper and dancer. The "far-right" guy is Jimin. Yes, his voice is insane. He has a voice that's like no other. Very angelic and calm. I'm not gonna force too much info on everyone, just the ones you pointed out. The only member fluent in English is the "blue hair" guy, RM. He's also the leader.

Suga (blue blazer) is one of the main writers/composers/producers out of the other members of the group (especially in their early days). He doesn't seem to mind hanging back and letting others shine (he shines too, behind scenes and also on his solo tracks and rap line songs).
Suga was actually hired/auditioned for their company to be a producer, then was going to be in a hip hop group the company was forming, and didn't intend to be in a singing/dancing idol group like BTS. He also produces for other artists.

"Blue Blazer” is Suga, a.k.a. Agus D. He is one of the best rapper in the industry and is also known for his uber cool demeanor. There are three rappers - Suga, RM (the one in blue hair) and J Hope (the furthest to the left). IF you like rap, you can check out the rapine songs like “Ddaeng” or“Ugh”, or their solo mixtape.

Glad you enjoyed it. I’m not a little girl. Over 50% of the fandom are over 30. And almost 40% are males. Their fans are from all generations in over 90 countries and you need to dive deeper to really understand why. It’s not just their music not their looks. They inspire people to be better. They survived so many struggles and hate and the more hate they get the fans protect them. They share their lives with the fans who love everything they do yet true fans also respect them. You will find some toxic fans as you do everywhere which others will call out. But mostly people are seeing that the true fandom is all about respect and spreading positivity. We love genuine constructive but respectful opinions. Hope you enjoy your journey ☺️

If you want to get a better idea of BTS song catalogue you should definitely react to BTS Festa Room Live ! Their discography covers so many genres. Really hope you'll listen to more of their songs and also turn on the captions because they have very amazing lyricism.
Jimin is the one on the far right that you pointed out, he really does have the voice of an angel, but, as you get to know all the members they all have their own strengths and attributes that when they come together make up this dream team :) Please do listen to more of their songs and keep an open mind too. Yah grew up on hip-hop/rap in US. I'm in my 40s. BTS is better messaging for me and my kid and I appreciate it.

4 vocalists and 3 rappers. The vocalists are world class and the rappers are legit incredible (flows, lyricism, etc.) Make sure you always turn on captions when you can, because lyrics are very important with BTS.

Also they’ve been together for almost a decade and want to stay together. They all do solo work and support each other’s solo work. But they want to stay together forever and constantly talk about it. Also Suga is not unhappy here. That’s just him 😂
Agree! The intro video by Ida S (2021 update) will also give you some clips of other solo songs and mixtapes as well as some live performances, which are the best live performances I’ve ever seen
That’s awesome. I’ll check out that video and that’s rare when you get a group as big as they are that want to ride it together. Most groups usually have that stand out that wants to make all the money for themselves.

I'm a mom of 2 teens and love these boys for who and what they represent. I'm so proud of them to have dealt w/so much adversities over the years, yet cont to not only entertain us w/their talents but be role models for the young people (some old, too) of the world. We need more people like the BTS understand that they have the responsibilities of not just entertaining but have the power to make a difference in peoples' lives.
Hope you cont to dive deeper into why BTS is so beloved by millions, both young and old, around the world and why we are so very protective about our boys 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

The boys are super talented: they have great vocal quality, they are good dancers, they practice a lot to be better every day; all are composers and songwriters, several produce (to a greater or lesser extent); several of them play 2 or more instruments; With their online content we have been able to know how fun they are and their beautiful personalities. Hi! If you go back and watch the video again, you will see that the guy in the blue blazer (Suga) is the one that you questioned whether he said a curse word or not. (He didn't) You even played it back and listened again. Suga has very few lines in Dynamite, but he sings on practically every song, and produces, and writes most of their music. I hope you enjoy your BTS journey. You will learn alot about them, and come to know why their fan base is so huge.

I see that you have more BTS videos following up this one so I'mma go watch those too, but my favorite part of watching people see/react to BTS for the first time is watching their eyes as they realize what the hype is all about. I could see it in your eyes that even though you didn't realize the significance of Spring Day (partly because you didn't have the subs on XD haha), you were quiet and listened and respected it. Blue blazer sang in the first song. You just didn't notice. Actually, he was the one you paused on to see if he was swearing. He wasn't.
Suga (blue blazer) is more of a laid back soul. He is very involved and cares for the other members but he's generally more mellow. He's one of out three of the rappers. The other two being J-hope (the one to the left of Suga in orange w red mic) and RM (the one second to the right in all denim w blue mic). I really think you'll come to enjoy them & their music because ppl of all ages do.

He is a crazy damn fast rapper(yeah even faster than Eminem), he helps write their stuff and produces most of their songs. They even been together for 8 years and signed on for another 8. They have their own hit solos,that they do while they are in BTS. So no, they won’t break away.
I want to tell you that I'm 52 years old and I love BTS very much. They are extremely talented and humble and sweet. They are helping a lot of people through their music. They deserve all the love they get

That shift in your epression in Save Me (2nd song) and especially in Spring Day (the 3rd song) is so real.. and without even knowing the song lyrics. I like your reaction. 46 year old ARMY here. These guys are almost the age of my kids, especially JK (youngest in orange, 3rd from left).
BTW, if Jimin, caught your attention here, you’ll be amazed with his dancing. Amazing, amazing performer, but his personality will just blow you away. This “cutie, sexy, lovely guy”, (remember this reference) is beautiful inside and out, that is why, he is my Bias (favorite). “Once you Jim-in, you can’t Jim-out”.
All BTS members are solid performers. They can each shine on their own and that is what makes them great together.

I’m definitely not a teenager I actually have 3 teens myself and another younger child still in elementary school. My journey into kpop came from BTS so I’m an Army and proud of it! To be honest after listening to BTS I’m finding it hard to go back to listening to American or aka western music. I grew up with NKOTB and Backstreet Boys etc… to be honest I grew up with 80’s music and still love it but Kpop has overtaken my playlist. You think 7 members is a lot there are other kpop groups with 13 members and some with 23 members. Those being Seventeen and NCT. I’m telling you once you start with Kpop it’s hard to go back to what you used to listen to. BTS is my ultimate kpop group but once I opened my mind to listen to other kpop groups I was blown away. BTS are the most genuine and humble and kind hearted people you will ever meet. I do have a bias in the group but I’m ot7 too 💜
If you want to learn more about bts and their journey from the beginning you should watch anything from Xceleste her channel is so good and very informative and Brisxlife his channel is amazing too love them both so much 💜
I know lots of people said it already, but I laughed when you commented on Suga looking bored and not wanting to be there. He comes of that way to people who don't know BTS I think, but he's just not a person that would be energetic and hype on the surface most of the time. He's kind of the group's rock. Incredibly caring and sweet, one of those people who will just do stuff for you without even mentioning it. Plus, he's a musical genius, who breathes and lives for music. I saw you have more videos on them, so you probably already know all this. I just really needed to comment 😂.

There are many reason why they have millions of fans all over the world........I'm 57 yo by the way. They are extremely talented and are here to spread a message of love, support and inspire us to be better people...and along the way, they spread happiness and keep us laughing out loud. So for those who mistakenly box them up as just hype, I honestly hope they give themselves a chance to get to know the boys, it'll be one of the best things they can experience, especially in these times where there's so much hate around. He’s also the most professional of professionals and has won producer awards with other artists. DON’T UNDERESTIMATE MY FUTURE HUSBAND 😂. Actually, do it. Then he can prove you wrong. They all speak English to a degree. Some aren’t as comfortable as others though. I get it. I’ve been speaking English since I was 5 and I’ve lived in the US for 6 years and I hate speaking. And as someone pointed out: yes, you did listen to Suga (2nd from the left) in Dynamite, you even rewinded his part bc you thought this fluffball cussed (hehehe). He is 1 of the rappers, yes. Plus here he was in pain (his left shoulder), but he was very much enjoying it all (he's not that extroverted for most of the time, esp when you just get to know him, give it time :)) and he had an operation scheduled later that year (seems a decade ago).
I’m watching this after I know that you’ve wised up. SUGA’s not bored he’s just chilling out. When he has something to contribute he steps up and wows us with his lyrics and rapping style. He’s also the one who will take on the haters. He’s often described as, savage, but he’s quietly caring and supportive of the others. Some say his nickname among ARMY is, Lil Meow Meow because of his fluffy hair but I feel it’s an apt name because if he accepts you then he has your back, if you diss BTS his claws come out. He often works on production all night so he’s tired and he wants to be a rock in his next life. Note that because both those traits will come up in skits they do. They listen to the vocal guide and then decide who sings or raps what. They all get a turn in group songs. JK usually sings the guides and provides a lot of the adlibs. You now know that Jimin is the one with the naturally high, not falsetto, voice.

Check out Suga (blazer guy) in his solo work. He goes by Agust D when solo. Try 'Agust D' and 'Daechwita'. When you look for their videos, add "Eng sub" to the title you're searching and turn on the CC. Suga is very chill with BTS, not so much solo :)
