As a Southeast Asian, it kinda annoys me when Americans conflate Western masculinity as all masculinity. Not every culture in world prioritises brawny males with big arms who don’t talk much. We value a man’s independence and resourcefulness. It’s not suddenly “feminine” because the guy is pale, doesn’t look brawny or doesn’t have a deep voice.

If the movie was remade this could definitely be the ending
She has no problem with her identity or sexuality thought… From the very begging she knows who she is and what she likes. So why? neither Olivia has. She fall in love cuz Viola understands her as a girl, but she’s into guys. Physically. Is that hard to understand? You can love a person of a same sex platonically and just not be attracted to them. It would be easier fir me to be attracted to people of my sex, cuz they do inderstand me better, but, I am not :D Same case for Olivia and most people.
@@Anastazka00 ok but Olivia and real Sebastian will never work bc he doesn't understand women
lol. no
Their chemistry is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I kinda wish someone makes a fanfic of where they end up together....
I’m sure there’s a few already written lol
Most definitely
There is! The wattpad version is called You know I'm such a fool for you by qthedoor. It's really good, enjoyable, and very well written as well!
@@ssrlly and they're the end game too
@@ssrlly YES, this is *THE* best Viola x Olivia fanfic out there. It's so well written. I love it
I miss this era of rom coms. They were the best
I love how they become friends at the end 🥺
Olivia is probably gonna be questioning her sexuality for the rest of her life.
IF YALL SAW HOW OLIVIA LOOKED AT VIOLA EVEN AFTER KNOWING THE TRUTH OH GOD IM SHIPPING SO HARD
4:00 now im shipping
the way olivia stares at sebastian/viola, i'm soft:((
6:54 that should be the moment where she realizes she likes her too. The 'oh boy' should be like 'I like herrrr'
No she's not love her "oh boy" means "Oh No" & she love Duke
We need a reboot of this movie and end with Olivia/Viola like a couple.
their chemistry is so visible✨
Olivia is just so cute she deserved better
Olivia is such an amazing actress 😍
But seriously I wish this was endgame.
I want to write a fanfic where’s like a year later and they’re both single for whatever reason and they revisit this. Maybe Olivia realizes she had feelings for Vi all along because she had a crush on her, not Sebastian. Being with the real Sebastian made her realize that. I have a whole story mapped out in my head
Please, tell me you did it
A year late but please do it 😩
A year late, but PLEASE DO THIS
I felt like an idiot smiling throughout this video. If someone as fine as Lauren Ramsey (Olivia) would be so into me like this I'd never let it go 😭🥺
Androgynous "Sebastian" being more attractive than the typical super masculine jock predicts the rise in popularity of Kpop teen idols like BTS.
HHAHA
Wtfff bts is not even feminine
As a Southeast Asian, it kinda annoys me when Americans conflate Western masculinity as all masculinity. Not every culture in world prioritises brawny males with big arms who don’t talk much. We value a man’s independence and resourcefulness. It’s not suddenly “feminine” because the guy is pale, doesn’t look brawny or doesn’t have a deep voice.
I don’t think they mean that BTS is necessarily feminine
But as Jimin once said “What is man”
Pretty boys have always been in style some thing goes for tomboys with men.
this is when i fell in love with olivia
there are so many movies out there that missed such a better plot line and THE RAGE IS BUILDING UP WITHIN ME
This movie had the blueprint to be a great lesbian love story
“ she looks so sad, it’s heartbreaking “ 🤣
Unis was the best character in the entire movie😂😂😂 love her
When im little.I ship duke and viola. But then seeing the girls start having more chemistry,i feel happy and start shipping them instead. When i saw the ending seeing duke together with viola,i remember being not satisfied with this.
Olivia's actress is so good. She looks totally in love
5:15 I love how she says “later!”
They totally should do a remake of this movie where Olivia and Viola ends up falling in love with each other
Ps: fuck Sebastian, he doesn't even appear for like 1/3 of the movie
The fact that the teacher said “ getting to know the opposite sex, ah a valuable part of high school” little did he know.
I feel like actresses in general also feel more comfortable making scenes with other actresses, which is why the chemistry that they try to convey really sells it. ALL the gayer.
Also, the scene when Olivia praises Viola's features thinking it's Sebastian... Viola is totally caught. More gay points!
I’m here because I failed to say this for a very long time… Viola and Olivia have that chemistry.
I love this movie so freaking much!! If someone ever tries to "reboot" 'she's the man' I wish they'd spice it up a bit by making this cannon, cause it lowkey feels like Olivia only showed any interest on the real Sebastian in hopes that he could be anything like the Viola version of him... Or am I the only one who thinks so?!
This movie deserves more recognition
i love your pfp 😭
I would definitely love to watch a movie where Olivia and Viola end up together.❤️
Of course you would your generation thrives on gay shit
as much as i love the gay angle every interaction that viola has with viola have has big trans man energy.
As a trans guy who once thought he was a masc gay girl when he first watched it, this movie was and still is a lot of feelings 😬
You're none of that shit you said, you're confused. Because you've been raised in a media environment that constantly attacks white people and the western civilization, they want to destroy the family values and white people's strength.
If you were born a man then you should be a man
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess honestly, just shut up. let the person in this comment identify whatever is comfortable to them.
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess shut up
2:30 is a painfully accurate example of when a random guy comes to interrupt you while you’re vibing with a really cute girl and keeps interrupting trying to get your attention 🙄😤😭
well yeah thats literally like exactly whats happening bruh LMFAO how is this relatable
@@finnathought8315 That's why I said it's an accurate example "bruh" , and it's relatable to me but it probably wouldn't be to you since I assume by your photo and name that you're a guy, and as such, I'll assume further that you probably have never been bothered in your life by an idiotic moron that keeps following you around, seemingly unable to understand that you're not interested. OR it could just be that you never vibe with really cute girls "LMFAO"
Also since you don't seem to be aware you should know that just because you haven't experienced something doesn't mean others haven't. Just so you know for next time you find that something is not "relatable" :)
At look at 2:38 Laura almost broke the character 😆
that teacher is sexually harassing them
its f disgusting and rude
besides he makes it sarcastic a male and female naturally dont belong together,,
Yeah they do....
It's a MOVIE
It’s so fucking hilarious when you notice the character who plays Olivia tries so hard not to laugh when the character Malcom sings 😂😂😂
Bruh, they should’ve been the endgame
