The lens flare seems slightly reduced from 12pro max. but is it still considered bad? As a photographer, does it bother you a lot? Is it possible to remove or reduce it? Would the flare be a problem for the casual user?

I haven’t done enough testings yet, that’s for an upcoming video. But yes I would still consider it to be bad. But as I showed in a video from last year I believe, this is for more or less all smartphones. You just need to be aware and consider light sources as you would always do..
For photos it’s super easy to fix in post, but for videos it requires masking and takes a lot more time.
But if you know that it is the you can definitely work around it.
Hi. I got Friday same phone. Graphite 256GB IPhone 13 pro max. Can’t wait to see PRORES when will be available next weeks….phone is great. But iPhone 12 Pro Max still a great phone….
Agree 😋! The micro capability is worth a new phone by itself! Especially for what I’m doing. The 12 pro max is definitely a great phone too!
I don’t know what cover case to buy …..black silicon (like you have ) or orange brown. I love color….now I have clear case apple, but I need color. 😊

Yeah my 12 pro max dims often like that esp when using the gps in the car while charging.
