I will test the camera of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and compare it to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
I will test and compare the low light photo quality of all three lenses of the iPhone 14 Pro max, as well as the low light video performance of all three camera lenses.
This is a low light iPhone 14 pro camera comparison and challenge where I will not reveal what image comes from what iPhone until the end! Can you figure out if the low light photos and low light videos are coming from the iPhone 14 Pro max or the iPhone 13 Pro max?!
I will also test the new 48 mp setting of the iPhone 14 pro max and how well the 48 mp camera works for low light photos. Can you spot the difference between the 48 mp vs 12 mp photo from the iPhone 14 Pro Max camera test?!

just watched. and seriously, for me there's not point upgrading from 13 Pro Max to 14 Pro Max this year if I only look at the camera. 14 Pro Max might be slightly better at extremely low light and maybe when you zoom in (with the 48MP sensor)... but besides that, there's not much difference.

I have an Iphone Xs Max Pro from 2019... which one should I upgrade to? Does the 14 PM worth the extra money?
If you want to have the latest and greatest go for the 14. If not the 13.
The cameras are very identical and is not worth to take the 14.
For me I would say that 13 is a smarter choice. Almost the same to a lower piece.
This is a great review for comparing low-light videos, but the difference will be more noticeable with applications that give you control over ISO and shutter speed. Apple is referring to picture mode that uses a combination of AI and the classic bracketing technique in which the 14 Pro's larger sensor will gather more light in....theory. The iPhone 13 Pro has a wider aperture, so the differences might be very minor in most cases using the native app.
yea accounting for aperture and sensor size its only 0.25 EV brighter, but smaller pixels means it can be woven better into zoom / crop pictures

Thanks for this I definitely won’t be upgrading just yet, there’s just not a whole lot of difference. I wish Apple would go a little bit further with new models now, I’m just not as excited as I used to be with new releases

@@MK-Tech I couldn’t make my mind up at all the differences were so small to be honest which is shocking considering the increase in resolution. The last time I was impressed by a new iPhone release was when LIDAR was introduced.

It’s an incredibly weak upgrade. Make no mistake, the 14 is a 13S. No wonder they dropped the S from their lineup. For all the hype about new and improved technology it’s very hard to tell real world differences. Keep up the great work!
i would say 14 PM is at least twice as good if you were to think that 100x better would be night vision level photos.. but also if you were editing photos and needed brighter pixels out of pure darkness you are going to get much more to work with .. especially if it’s the raw photo data and not just a brightness increase effect.

I think the 13 promax has a cleaner images at night and the 14 pro max has slightly more noise
