I put a M4 Street Slayer slip on exhaust on my R3 and it sounds amazing! Definitely the best sounded exhaust for the R3 in my opinion. I also did the TST fender delete, rear taillight, and flush mounts. You need to do the flasher relay to fix that hyper flash with the signals. It literally takes 10 minutes or less to install, it’s cheap, and it’s a necessity to get the full potential from your signals that you’ve installed.
Ysl Slime unfortunately no. I had the money saved up but then covid got my motorcycle classes canceled and I wasn’t willing to get the motorcycle without doing the safety course.
By the way, i agree with you about the smoothness, lightness, and overall great ride. I started on a gsxr 600 a long time ago and ended up getting rid of it after about 2 years. That bike was definitely faster and more aggresive but my main use now is to commute and have fun on the weekends, so R3 is just perfect
I just installed the Yamaha integrated frame sliders on my 2022 R3. They look cool, but are NOT for the track. They are only for bike drops since they are plastic and bolted to the engine. Another awesome upgrade is a Puig tire hugger. I got a carbon fiber one to match my carbon fiber Hotbodies Stinger exhaust slipon.
just got a tail tidy kit installed on my 2018 r 3, man they look wayyyyy cleaner and sporter than the stock one, instead of using aftermarket blinkers and all that ,I reused my stock ones, my next mod will probably be a slip on exhaust. Nice video bro enjoy your r3
I was looking for this comment too! The hyper flash annoyed me. I was glad to see TST offered that simple relay attachment. It’s just a nightmare getting the clip placed back on to the bike once you do, but makes a huge difference.
@@MotoChrisOfficial well, when you start from a stop, you don't have to rev it higher to get prevent stalling or that initial drop of RPM's. It basically removes about half of the range of motion required to wind it to wide open throttle. It effectively makes it about a 1/4 throttle. I got mine from SportbikeTrackGear for about $10 shipped. I also got Driven Grippy Grips when I swapped the throttle tube. Both are great upgrades and about $30 total. Trust me, if you go with the R6 throttle tube, you'll love it.
@@MotoChrisOfficial Here's the Part Motion Pro Yamaha YZF-R6S 06-09 Nylon Throttle Sleeve. Also, I got EBC Sintered Double-H pads for front and rear. Makes the brakes a bit more responsive under braking over the stock pads.

Fun Mods...you can never stop having fun in this segment of bikes regardless of you outgrowing it. Sadly, this generation Yamaha R3 is not available in India (my home) as the previous-gen Yamaha R3 failed to sell well (caused by high pricing). I guess...Exhaust & ECU must be your next upgrade 8 )
It’s so sad, here in Denmark we have very strict rules about exhausts on bikes, we can easily get pulled over if the bike is too loud, so I think the loudest exhaust us danes can get is the Akaprovic with the DB killer on

I have the same bike! Just subed to see what you do next. I've done levers, fender eliminator, Akrapovic GP Slip-On Exhaust and a few cosmetic items from Ali Express. My exhaust sounds pretty good for a slip-on IMO, not sure a full system is worth it on my bike since it's my commuter and an ECU flash would be necessary and expensive.

you think you will still drive it but i can tell you when you get a 600 its just going to sit there and take up room. my friend bought and r3, then a r6, and a r1. still has all 3. the r3 has not been used more than about 3 hrs since purchasing the r6 and r1 as its too slow and doesn't have fun. your outtake will change when you legit upgrade
I have hot bodies Motogp slip on front led blinker with Halo rear tail light the blinker relay replacement the adjustable fender eliminator with the flush mount led tag light tank pad front fork sliders rear spools with slider any day now lol frame sliders are next ... I have blue to match shorty brake and clutch levers....one thing I highly recommend us to replace factory brake pads very cheap pad I had to brake hard I fish tailed some and went down on mine.. so yeah def upgrade brakes

Hey Chris. I've been wanting to get a R3 for a while now but I’m not sure if it will be comfortable for me. so I want to know how tall you are and how comfortable it is for riding long distances.
I'm 5'7. The bike is super comfortable for at least an hour and a half before I start to feel any sort of pain. But even then I just find a place to stop and stretch and I'm off riding again
Hello, so far what I know TST Integrated Tail Light is not DOT tested and it is not legal, I live in New York. Can you confirm if my information is correct or not because I want to order one for my R3.
I went with the Hotbodies MGP slipon. Affordable and the bass is unreal(all the pops and gargles included) Personally, I am not a fan of the look of the M4 mufflers.

the r3 comes stock with great tires that could be also amazing on track getting stickier tires means you have to warm them up before to get the stickiness out of them
Aaaand you've already dropped it. Should have got frame sliders instead of rim tape lol. Also, bar ends will not stop your fairings getting dmgd when you drop it

eh, i would leave them on if you in a parking space at night. it helps the side of your bike be more visible when driver's headlights are pointed at it
If you wanna install exhaust then get the full system with K&N and PCV5 piggyback ECU. Otherwise it's useless to get only one thing (no power gain). On the sound part, nothing beats Austin short muffler.

It happens.. A lot of people drop their bikes due to not taking courses and not learning the fundamentals, been there myself.. Experience isn't everything, because if you don't know how to properly execute the techniques from the get go you will develop bad habits and experience... Most people do drop their bike at some point.. At least he was honest about it

I will always advocate for frame sliders being one of the best beginner mods or even for anyone for that matter
Can’t find frame sliders for r3 that don’t make you have to drill holes in the fairings.

R6 throttle tube is a must have upgrade as well. Made my bike way easier to ride and especially with the limited power, it's a great upgrade

Two brothers slip on without db killer sounds really good,i also like akrapovic and yoshimura.Would love to see what you stick in that pipe.

3:15 stay away from those turn signals. Those will screw you over. Hard as fuck to see.
Having them on my motorcycle they are not hard to see and are extremely bright
@@Ridinglawnmower145 Have you followed behind your own bike in a car? Can't see them from 50 feet away during the day, much less across from you. It is for that reason I keep my large unsightly blinkers on my motorcycle.

eh, i would leave them on if you in a parking space at night. it helps the side of your bike be more visible when driver's headlights are pointed at it

If you wanna install exhaust then get the full system with K&N and PCV5 piggyback ECU. Otherwise it's useless to get only one thing (no power gain). On the sound part, nothing beats Austin short muffler.

It happens.. A lot of people drop their bikes due to not taking courses and not learning the fundamentals, been there myself.. Experience isn't everything, because if you don't know how to properly execute the techniques from the get go you will develop bad habits and experience... Most people do drop their bike at some point.. At least he was honest about it
