Dio is the one who created the “rock and roll horns” hand sign 🤘 and he said it was something his grandmother did to ward off evil spirits in the dark, kinda funny that many people had the wrong idea of the meaning of the hand sign…

Hey man, was just listening to this again… when you were speaking about dio being the epitome of legendary rock I was agreeing in my mind then I remembered, there is a family of rockers and a girl leading the band as the singer who most definitely took all her learning cues from Dio. I can’t for the life of me remember the name of their band but if you know whom I am referring to you should check them out, they do this song too and it is just so absolutely incredible

He definitely was an amazing singer, that said, he had very strict thoughts on talent competitions. That's probably why you don't see many of his songs being sung on The Voice or American Idol. I remember reading or watching a video on him talking about it, and he pretty much said "you should get over on your own merits through long and hard work. Your big break shouldn't come from a talent show". Or something along those lines.

Ronnie is known as the 'Godfather of Metal' and created the devil horns hand sign for 'Long Live Rock 'n Roll' (which is a GREAT song by Rainbow with Ronnie at vocals by the way!!). Great job watching him LIVE, the best way to enjoy this talent on loan from God, stage presence and THAT VOICE!! Check out the band Rainbow, song: 'Mistreated' LIVE in Munich 1977. One of the GREATEST vocal performances EVER, you cannot even believe it, goosebumps. There is SO much Dio for you to experience! From Elf to Rainbow to Sabbath to Dio to Heaven and Hell (just Sabbath as old guys!), this man is a one of a kind with a gift that qas the best EVER, that came 100% from God, no lessons ever, but he fid play trumpet from 5-15, wonderful for breath support. Of all of his phenomenal work, my favorite is his work with Rainbow, the writing, the musicality of the band, dramatic and deep and the unbelievable talent of not oy Dio but also guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. I CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE! Go LIVE whenever you can. You can find Ozzy era Black Sabbath songs with Dio at vocals making them SO much better. Check out 'Dio-War Pigs' and videos from his time with Sabbath in the 80's and 90's will come up with Ozzy era songs. Dio improves them all.

This may sounds like I'd be cracking a joke, but in all honesty in our family we did not have god, we had Dio. Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford and Lemmy Kilmister were the holy trinity in our household and at my relatives houses. Me, my siblings and my cousins all were raised through metal and to this date those three men are celebrated in our family almost as an deities.

Dio did indeed sing in different genres. He actually started singing in the sixties in a genre known as Doo-wop. Also when he was young his favorite singer to listen was Mario Lanza; a very popular opera singer.

The fact is that the sun rays shining through the particles of water still in the air, with their various frequencies showing their specific colors is still shining but the absence of knowledge is seen as darkness do the rainbow isn't seen because the sun is not shining for the viewer. The beauty is missed because of their ignorance, which manifests as Not light = darkness. IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR NOSE AND YOU CAN'T SEE IT & NO ONE CAN SEE IT FOR YOU. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
