Its funny that the lyrics pretty much sums up what social media is now. Whoever gets shared a lot gets awarded, something or someone decides what everyone should wear/take
I think a reworking contest should be offered to composers and writers in the world and the winner will be hired to be involved in the production. This musical has so many problems and edits that it needs a lot of work to sound anything like it did in the movie.
@@jospenner9503feel like Lin Manuel should take it on he did so good with making the tick tick boom movie and was a student of Larson growing up sort of (heavily influenced I mean)
Getting back into Tick Tick Boom really made me want to hear the original of this and Come To Your Senses. This is so ahead of its time, it definitely would hold up today, considering it makes sense to a newer generation. Jon inspired so many people
The full book and several tracks are stored in the Library of Congress (mu011016). However a lot of it is still in draft and notes so it needs a LOT of treatments to have someone want to produce it, let alone be ready for stage.
I wish Tick Tick Boom would have covered a bit more of the plot of Superbia to give better context to this song and “Come to your Senses”. It would have supported those songs and shown us more of Jon’s vision of the show. I feel like Tick Tick Boom builds up to “Come to your Senses” so much and it honestly felt like a bit of a letdown to me because I didn’t know as much of the plot of Superbia as I do now. I have much more of an understanding of the world and characters Jonathon created and feel much more invested in the song. We’re kinda thrown into the terminology of the world of Superbia without knowing where it comes from, which made it seem very distant to us. Upon looking into the plot of Superbia, I can imagine the world and appreciate the songs shown to us in Tick Tick Boom.
The plot of "Superbia" isn't important to "Tick Tick Boom"'s conflict. All that is needed to be known about the show is its concept, how long Jonathan had been working on it, and why the song is needed for the presentation of the show. Stephen Sondheim tells Jonathan in the film that the second act of "Superbia" needs a song during the pivotal moment in the narrative where the main character needs to be reminded of his goals and to bring him back to reality, hence the phrase "come to your senses" for the hook of the song, and so Jonathan's external goal in the narrative is to write the song for the second act. What makes "Come to Your Senses" impactful is not because of how it improves the climax of "Superbia", but rather it is a metaphorical message to Jonathan himself, signifying that he needs to wake up and get out of his own head. The movie plays with the double-interpretation of the song by having Karessa perform the song as her character in "Superbia", motivating Josh, in addition to an imaginary Susan performing the song to Jonathan, as if she is saying these words to him.
The plot summaries are finally on Wikipedia there are apparently several versions but the article goes through two one version is comedic and ends with hope (this song sounds like it came from it) and a second much darker version that ends tragically with the villains winning. Waiting in the Wings summarizes both versions in his video on Superbia
@@silvercheetah92I’ve updated the Wikipedia article and have been making some script deep dives here on YT - now we’ve got four versions! But yes this version is from V1 :) Sextet’s evolution is like this: V.5 - Sextet was a song called “Today” and had a lot of pacing and lyrical differences V1 - This V1.5 - Here it was called “Septet” but had the exact same instrumentation- different lyrics and Hank’s part is replaced with the M.B.A and Clone singing V2 - This version sees Elizabeth’s section (which pulls leitmotifs from two other V1 songs that she sings) totally changed to instead use leitmotifs from “Pale Blue Square” and “I Won’t Close My Eyes”, with a whole new set of lyrics to match. We’re back to calling it Sextet and the Clone was kicked out of the song lol

Also, Hank is the In that Josh is replacing after Josh woke him up using the music box. Hank is seeing Josh on the air getting tons of credit as him, and he is becoming confused and jealous. There is a recurring joke in the V1 script that the Ins frequently acknowledge that Hank (actually Josh) is white now, and aren't at all finding that strange.
Actively talking with former cast members to find out all the names in the cast here. Already added later versions of the cast to the Wikipedia page. Will update as soon as I have a 100% certain list, although some fun names have already been figured out. :)
More info- looking at 99.9% certainty going to confirm with a second cast member tomorrow BUT: Roi is played by Tia Speros-Harper Hank is played by Mark Mazzie (in this demo only) Studd, the MBA, and the Bouncer played by Jonathan Larson Mr. Prod is played by Joe (Sal) Aiello Edit: confirmed and edited the comment to reflect the confirmations!
@@briangenselNope! Marin is Elizabeth, but her brother Mark was Hank’s voice in this recording. Still unclear who actually played Hank (if anyone) during the ASCAP and Dramatist’s Guild workshops or the other demo for Hank (His V.5 song “The Electric Gate”) so I’m working on clearing up that mystery as I talk with the cast. Also working on getting an interview with Mark to try to get the full story of how they pulled him in to sing for this demo :P But for now I’ve already interviewed (recorded with consent) Scott, Barbara, and Tia and will be speaking with Joe (Sal) sometime this coming week. Atm the recordings are for my own notes/transcriptions, so once I’ve kinda piece more together I’ll likely ask the actors if they’d be ok with me posting abridged versions of those interviews on YT. But I want to figure out the mystery of Hank before I do because I think it will be more satisfying to leave no stone unturned. I’m also speaking with members of the second cast (the one that performed at Playwrights Horizons and likely NY Public Theatre) and the third cast (Village Gate and Shakespeare Festival), hoping to clarify several black boxes in the show’s production timeline- largely centred around the periods where the casts almost entirely changed. It will also help me to identify the voices in the other demos, as it’s very likely if not entirely certain that the demo for Let’s All Sing, for example, was recorded with the PWH cast despite being written in 86 when the OG cast was used. But you’ll kinda notice that Hank’s voice is buried among the other voices, and looking at the sheet music he also comes in late during the last bit (where they’re all singing together) and then sorta makes up for it by moving faster at the end before they all sing the lyrics in unison. A lot of that has to do with him not coming from a theatre background and also having to read Jonathan’s… shall we say interesting notation. (He couldn’t write sheet music so he wrote arrows on lyric sheets to indicate note changes 😅 MIDI was a massive benefit to Jonathan’s music as the show got into the V2 era)
I've seen a few people track lost media there, and apparently if they know what to ask for, they can just request it. It's not classified data or anything.
It's not entirely clear how someone was able to get a digital file, but yeah, the Jonathan Larson papers are all accessible, you just have to physically go to the Library of Congress to read and listen to the stuff. I actually think that's the better move for material like this, despite my own selfish desire to have access to them. A lot of his unfinished work is pretty unpolished. Considering the backlash his "finished" work (both Rent and Tick Tick Boom were technically finished by other people) has gotten, you'd be putting it in the vulnerable position of being viewed by people who may not understand that, and will mock it the same way they mock the stuff that did get released.
I don't know all the backstory behind all this but if it's owned by the LOC it's publically accessible. So possible people snuck in recording materials. All you'd need is earbuds and a cellphone and just put the buds to the speaker and record it ....and that's just the cheap way I'm sure there are better ways to do it.
Honestly I think that has less to do with the skill of the performers and more that Jonathan didn’t know how to write sheet music, so they were going off of arrows on a lyric sheet to indicate what notes they should sing hahaha The singer for Elizabeth in this demo is Marin Mazzie, who is a super talented performer! Honestly lots of great performers in this demo. But I also can’t imagine trying to focus on learning new notation while also singing a song like this for the first time FR tho I still think this demo is fire :)

Woah hold on, I've been trying to figure out the lyrics too so this is awesome!!! Some of these really help what I've been struggling with so thanks! meanwhile I have some corrections of my own to make: In the first verse, _"Your lust scene last night had an 89 share of the overall overnight outglam rating!,"_ I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be *"OutLAND,"* cause that's what the place is called in Superbia where the Outs live -------------------------------------- _"Josh: Okay. My- My name's not Hank..."_ I"m pretty sure this line should be *"Okay Roi- my name's not hank"* It is weird because it honestly sounds like he's saying "Ma" but that doesn't make any sense at all, pretty sure Roi is meant to be pronounced similarly so that's my best guess. also immediately after that Roi says *"HANK did you hear"* not _"Hey..."_ --------------------------------------- Second verse: _"Elizabeth: When you walk with storm, forn all be seen(???)"_ Oh no I was hoping someone else could figure this out for me lol. I'm extremely unsure of this line too but what I hear personally is "When you walk THE storm, born of the sea" which now that I think about it makes less sense than your version here, but I don't think either are completely right... ------------------------------------------ _"Studd Starr: The fan dose... just is me!"_ What I hear is *"Pug Nose"* which makes sense I think? considering that eariler he was talking about Toothpaint and later about chest wigs, Pug nose seems right. ----------------------------------------- _"Elizabeth: Will be on the air! And Josh is back!"_ This is 100% supposed to be *"And Josh'S BOX!"* Elizabeth and Josh talk about the music box a lot throughout this song and their whole goal is to get the box on the air ------------------------------------------ _"Studd Starr: Be compared in the thore(?) I’ll receive the award!"_ This line is supposed to be *"Even more than before I received the award"* for sure. Studd's already very popular, so he's talking about how he'll be even more popular than he already was -------------------------------------------- third verse: First off, I don't really think it's Hank talking here????? Wikipedia states that the 6th person of this sextet is M.B.A., but of course can you trust wikipedia? M.B.A. still makes sense to me though, it's a very robotic tone he's speaking with and it sounds like he's giving commands. I don't think there's a way to know for certain though. that said, the six phrases he says, to me sound like: "Test", "Quit", "Keep going", "Don't", "Sit (Or is it quit again?)", "Keep going", no way to be certain on these either though. -------------------------------------------- _"The search continues (Cas) for the tone-black-In"_ Those last words sound like *"Tall black In"* to me ----------------------------------------- _"Hank In, Studd Starr! (What?!), Congregant(?) (How dare he!?) all are slated to appear."_ Aw dang it I was hoping you'd have an answer here, something like "Congrajit" is all I hear too. However, those interjections are from Studd Starr, he's angry about Josh aka Hank being nominated --------------------------------------- _"(Josh): I will plug-in if you give the box,_ _yes I’ll give in if you give me the music box!_ _I will plug-in if you give the box,_ _yes I’ll give in if you give me the music box!_ _That's why I'm here!"_ I have nothing to say here except *THANK YOU!* I've really struggled with this part, but giving it a listen again, this is 100% what Josh is saying, perfect! -As for Roi's part, I always though she just started singing the chorus, but now I realize, much like you put, she's mostly silent except for those two words ("Theeeeeeere" and "Affaaaaiiir!") and only says the full last line, just like you put.- ugggggggggggh no I've changed my mind, I think she is actually singing the whole chorus but just really quietly??? Like I'm pretty sure I can hear here start saying "Everyone who ever has..." at the beginning and then she just gets drowned out... ugh I just don't know I really wish I could figure out what Elizabeth is saying during her solo at the end of the overlapping part. I think it's worth noting that it (and her solo during the second verse) sounds an awful lot like another song from earlier in the musical, Ever After (ua-cam.com/video/HFIlQiXgjWM/v-deo.html) I don't think there's a connection to the lyrics here though :( And as for Studd and M.B.A. or Hank (whichever it is)... I have no clue for either of them. -------------------------------------------- Anyway, that's all the corrections I have, I'm so glad to see someone else wanting to figure this out!!!!!! I love this version of the song so much and as cool as the montage from Tick Tick Boom is, I like this one better hahahaha and wished more people talked about it.

I mean, there's not much else you can do with something like superbia. the musical was made in the 80's/90's, set in 2064, of course its going to sound dated...
…this is some weird stuff. No wonder this didn’t make it on Broadway instead of RENT. EDIT: Hi. I’m back from one year in the future. This just hit me: I wonder if this would work as a radio play. Everyone else is concerned about getting this on a stage. But I’m like… If the issue in the 90s that staging and stuff would be too expensive, then fine. Take away the stage and make listeners construct it in their heads as they listen to this. But the problem is the story. It’s gone through how many drafts? Some very dark drafts at some point? I’ve heard that it’s going to be difficult to try to weave together a story to use all these drafts that don’t really go together to make one whole cohesive story.
I agree and I disagree..... It's perfect for Broadway...... musicals like catz or bat out of hell are no more abstract and outlandish. Theatre often pushes the limits of reality you suspend disbelief and this is I feel the perfect medium to recognise that version. Look at bat out of hell musical similar dystopian future with mutants....and yet it works Theatre is absolutely the perfect setting ...for such a vision....and it's not completely original it's based on 1989 the George Orwell book and a little bit on Romeo and Juliet. The songs are good and even if the song doesn't sound logical it's because we are hearing it out of context of the plot and the rest of the narrative..and also it's incomplete with alot of changes planned ..... So it's not going to sound logical But in short...in the future humanity has celebrities who are filmed 24/7 called the ins who are drugged up alot to feel numb and they are constantly told what to say and do by robots....and the norms who live in homes watching the celebrities living the glam life and buying celebrity endorsed products....they are stupid numb and don't feel emotions.... It's all controlled by a robot One " in "or "celebrity " Elizabeth (who is married to stud starr and has shitty parents...meets an out or normal person (josh) ....and they discover a music box....which makes them feel emotions and break free from their programming ... and they want to get it on..... forbidden love which is sobotaged by Elizabeths family and a spy called ROI .. But also they want to get it on the air ...aka .they want to get the music box on the air so they can unite humanity with music remind them they are human break free from dependency on machines..... But our main character gets addicted to high society drugs sex rock and roll and sleeps with ROI while she films and then becomes a target when people realise he's a norm .... When captured it's up to Elizabeth to remind him what's at stake and to keep going and get the music box on the air (come to your senses!) ....how it ends was never finished....should Josh kill himself and his love. Shattering dreams ....or does he triumph get the girl and save humanity from themselves.....? We will never know.... I agree wasn't ready for Broadway but not because it's a weird plot but because it had so many changes of plot and unfinished plot choices song rewrites....it simply lost sight of what it was meant to be....I think Johnathan should have stuck to his original vision instead of rewriting ever minor criticism....it definitely has an audience .. Rent has a unchanged and clear vision because it's based on his own experience....it's just more sure of itself...and why it works
So having spent a lot of time analyzing the show closely, setting up timelines and talking with cast members (I basically have a continually building evidence board in my head), the show basically had four major script versions. Of those four, only really three of them (V1 from 1986, V1.5 from 1987, and V2 from 1988+) I’d say would be liable to be adapted because the 1985 material is all very prototypal. With that said, I think the complexity of this material is overblown because of how spread out the material is within the collection itself. The show is very adaptable and a pretty complete package imo. :) It ultimately comes down to what tone the adapter would want to set. in my opinion, the V1.5 script contains basically all key points of V1 and V2, from the music box to Elizabeth’s death. However, if someone wanted it to be more focused on comedy and in general more optimistic, they should adapt V1 (imo, V1 would be excellent for an animated film, especially a Disney style film). If they want to tell a largely melancholic and cynical story, they should adapt V2. But V1.5 is the most meaty of the scripts in terms of covering as many bases as possible and hitting both tones at once.
Superbia may not have been presentable in the 90s but it would be a hit now. Rip Jon Larson.
If only critics could still understand this in 2024
Its funny that the lyrics pretty much sums up what social media is now. Whoever gets shared a lot gets awarded, something or someone decides what everyone should wear/take

On Netflix? I saw it in the theater, all by myself. It came out during the pandemic. I got to sing along cuz it was just me!
It's so beautiful it made me cry. Thank you Jonathan Larson
But yes this version is from V1 :)
Sextet’s evolution is like this:
V.5 - Sextet was a song called “Today” and had a lot of pacing and lyrical differences
V1 - This
V1.5 - Here it was called “Septet” but had the exact same instrumentation- different lyrics and Hank’s part is replaced with the M.B.A and Clone singing
V2 - This version sees Elizabeth’s section (which pulls leitmotifs from two other V1 songs that she sings) totally changed to instead use leitmotifs from “Pale Blue Square” and “I Won’t Close My Eyes”, with a whole new set of lyrics to match. We’re back to calling it Sextet and the Clone was kicked out of the song lol
Reposting this here so it doesn't get lost in the thread:

This is taken straight from the Larson Papers, he calls his mom Mop- he mistakes Roi for his mom because he’s groggy and waking up.
Also, Hank is the In that Josh is replacing after Josh woke him up using the music box. Hank is seeing Josh on the air getting tons of credit as him, and he is becoming confused and jealous. There is a recurring joke in the V1 script that the Ins frequently acknowledge that Hank (actually Josh) is white now, and aren't at all finding that strange.
thanks!
Thanks dude ❤❤❤
Holy smokes! Thank you so much for posting these lyrics! I was hoping these would get found eventually!
Thank you!!!
I love instrumental parts of the original one ❤
Amazing!!!
This would hir so hard today hope we can see it some day
Are we agree that we need a musical movie of this show, right?
Yes
Larson maravilhoso ❤
This is fantastic!!!
I think so too! I personally LOVE this track, along with the other few available songs that we can find of this musical!
Actively talking with former cast members to find out all the names in the cast here. Already added later versions of the cast to the Wikipedia page. Will update as soon as I have a 100% certain list, although some fun names have already been figured out. :)
Update!
Barbara Marineau is the voice of the MT (the robot voice in this song) as well as Mrs. Prod (Elizabeth’s mother, not featured in this number)
More info- looking at 99.9% certainty going to confirm with a second cast member tomorrow BUT:
Roi is played by Tia Speros-Harper
Hank is played by Mark Mazzie (in this demo only)
Studd, the MBA, and the Bouncer played by Jonathan Larson
Mr. Prod is played by Joe (Sal) Aiello
Edit: confirmed and edited the comment to reflect the confirmations!
@@terran347 I think you might be confused with the casting of Hank? Marin Mazzie is Elizabeth on this recording. Maybe that's what you meant?
@@briangenselNope! Marin is Elizabeth, but her brother Mark was Hank’s voice in this recording. Still unclear who actually played Hank (if anyone) during the ASCAP and Dramatist’s Guild workshops or the other demo for Hank (His V.5 song “The Electric Gate”) so I’m working on clearing up that mystery as I talk with the cast. Also working on getting an interview with Mark to try to get the full story of how they pulled him in to sing for this demo :P
But for now I’ve already interviewed (recorded with consent) Scott, Barbara, and Tia and will be speaking with Joe (Sal) sometime this coming week.
As an update to this! The other Hank was discovered! Outside of this demo, it was Paris Barclay! :D
I love this song
Tysm!! Any chance you have any other demo from superbia??
Kinda hits hard tbh
I always loved the genre of Retro-futurism!
How the hell did steal this from the congress library???????
❤️
Is that Bernadette Peters? I don't know the full story behind this so genuinely asking...
No, it's not her.
@@RafaelNogueiraMC Doesn't it sound just like her though?? Who is it?
@@fundifferent1It’s Tia Speros-Harker :)
so my understanding of this is that it's retro and in the future but it's a cold society?
Yeah, the musical takes heavy themes of retrofuturism! If you got any other questions about superbia, just ask me! I'll be glad to answer :]
God
I love this so much but gotta say the counter point is insane 4.33 😂 like what?
I love learning the full lyrics. But think how great this would be with better performers. The one playing Elizabeth is very dry and stiff.
Honestly I think that has less to do with the skill of the performers and more that Jonathan didn’t know how to write sheet music, so they were going off of arrows on a lyric sheet to indicate what notes they should sing hahaha
The singer for Elizabeth in this demo is Marin Mazzie, who is a super talented performer! Honestly lots of great performers in this demo. But I also can’t imagine trying to focus on learning new notation while also singing a song like this for the first time
FR tho I still think this demo is fire :)
@ I realize now that Elizabeth is reading her letter to Josh out loud. Gives it a different vibe than if she was speaking to him directly.
Edit:[I WANNA GIVE A BIG THANKS TO @bosscrafty FOR GETTING LYRICS IVE BEEN NEEDING!!]
{I ALSO WANNA GIVE A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO TERRAN47! THEY HAVE VEEN DOING A LOT IN THE SUPERBIA COMMUNITY!!!}

Woah hold on, I've been trying to figure out the lyrics too so this is awesome!!! Some of these really help what I've been struggling with so thanks! meanwhile I have some corrections of my own to make:
In the first verse, _"Your lust scene last night had an 89 share of the overall overnight outglam rating!,"_ I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be *"OutLAND,"* cause that's what the place is called in Superbia where the Outs live
--------------------------------------
_"Josh: Okay. My- My name's not Hank..."_ I"m pretty sure this line should be *"Okay Roi- my name's not hank"*
It is weird because it honestly sounds like he's saying "Ma" but that doesn't make any sense at all, pretty sure Roi is meant to be pronounced similarly so that's my best guess.
also immediately after that Roi says *"HANK did you hear"* not _"Hey..."_
---------------------------------------
Second verse:
_"Elizabeth: When you walk with storm, forn all be seen(???)"_
Oh no I was hoping someone else could figure this out for me lol. I'm extremely unsure of this line too but what I hear personally is "When you walk THE storm, born of the sea" which now that I think about it makes less sense than your version here, but I don't think either are completely right...
------------------------------------------
_"Studd Starr: The fan dose... just is me!"_
What I hear is *"Pug Nose"* which makes sense I think? considering that eariler he was talking about Toothpaint and later about chest wigs, Pug nose seems right.
-----------------------------------------
_"Elizabeth: Will be on the air! And Josh is back!"_
This is 100% supposed to be *"And Josh'S BOX!"* Elizabeth and Josh talk about the music box a lot throughout this song and their whole goal is to get the box on the air
------------------------------------------
_"Studd Starr: Be compared in the thore(?) I’ll receive the award!"_
This line is supposed to be *"Even more than before I received the award"* for sure. Studd's already very popular, so he's talking about how he'll be even more popular than he already was
--------------------------------------------
third verse: First off, I don't really think it's Hank talking here????? Wikipedia states that the 6th person of this sextet is M.B.A., but of course can you trust wikipedia? M.B.A. still makes sense to me though, it's a very robotic tone he's speaking with and it sounds like he's giving commands. I don't think there's a way to know for certain though.
that said, the six phrases he says, to me sound like: "Test", "Quit", "Keep going", "Don't", "Sit (Or is it quit again?)", "Keep going", no way to be certain on these either though.
--------------------------------------------
_"The search continues (Cas) for the tone-black-In"_
Those last words sound like *"Tall black In"* to me
-----------------------------------------
_"Hank In, Studd Starr! (What?!), Congregant(?) (How dare he!?) all are slated to appear."_
Aw dang it I was hoping you'd have an answer here, something like "Congrajit" is all I hear too.
However, those interjections are from Studd Starr, he's angry about Josh aka Hank being nominated
---------------------------------------
_"(Josh): I will plug-in if you give the box,_
_yes I’ll give in if you give me the music box!_
_I will plug-in if you give the box,_
_yes I’ll give in if you give me the music box!_
_That's why I'm here!"_
I have nothing to say here except *THANK YOU!* I've really struggled with this part, but giving it a listen again, this is 100% what Josh is saying, perfect!
Like I'm pretty sure I can hear here start saying "Everyone who ever has..." at the beginning and then she just gets drowned out... ugh I just don't know
I really wish I could figure out what Elizabeth is saying during her solo at the end of the overlapping part. I think it's worth noting that it (and her solo during the second verse) sounds an awful lot like another song from earlier in the musical, Ever After (ua-cam.com/video/HFIlQiXgjWM/v-deo.html) I don't think there's a connection to the lyrics here though :(
And as for Studd and M.B.A. or Hank (whichever it is)... I have no clue for either of them.
--------------------------------------------
Anyway, that's all the corrections I have, I'm so glad to see someone else wanting to figure this out!!!!!! I love this version of the song so much and as cool as the montage from Tick Tick Boom is, I like this one better hahahaha and wished more people talked about it.

Ay, it's no wonder the edited version was recorded the way it was on the movie. This sounds so dated.
I’ve heard that it’s going to be difficult to try to weave together a story to use all these drafts that don’t really go together to make one whole cohesive story.
elizabeth schuyler hamilton, i have to disagree violently
You dont understand
I agree and I disagree.....
It's perfect for Broadway...... musicals like catz or bat out of hell are no more abstract and outlandish. Theatre often pushes the limits of reality you suspend disbelief and this is I feel the perfect medium to recognise that version.
Look at bat out of hell musical similar dystopian future with mutants....and yet it works
Theatre is absolutely the perfect setting ...for such a vision....and it's not completely original it's based on 1989 the George Orwell book and a little bit on Romeo and Juliet. The songs are good and even if the song doesn't sound logical it's because we are hearing it out of context of the plot and the rest of the narrative..and also it's incomplete with alot of changes planned ..... So it's not going to sound logical
But in short...in the future humanity has celebrities who are filmed 24/7 called the ins who are drugged up alot to feel numb and they are constantly told what to say and do by robots....and the norms who live in homes watching the celebrities living the glam life and buying celebrity endorsed products....they are stupid numb and don't feel emotions....
It's all controlled by a robot
One " in "or "celebrity " Elizabeth (who is married to stud starr and has shitty parents...meets an out or normal person (josh)
....and they discover a music box....which makes them feel emotions and break free from their programming ...
and they want to get it on..... forbidden love which is sobotaged by Elizabeths family and a spy called ROI ..
When captured it's up to Elizabeth to remind him what's at stake and to keep going and get the music box on the air (come to your senses!)
....how it ends was never finished....should Josh kill himself and his love.
It might be weird, but the context of the musical predicted MUCH of what we have now.
It ultimately comes down to what tone the adapter would want to set. in my opinion, the V1.5 script contains basically all key points of V1 and V2, from the music box to Elizabeth’s death.
This sucks
This slaps, more like it
Nah, you just need to understand it.
