Blois was really everything we expected to find in France. The fortunate chance meeting of such a lovely local couple was the cherry on top of the adventure cake 🤟♥️

We live half an hour down river from Blois, it is a town we never get tired of. Like you we are constantly surprised by the welcome and generosity of our French neighbours and friends. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Gosh what an absolutely lovely guy. First inviting you into the cellar for a look around then inviting you for lunch. How delightful and surprising. - a rare combination nowadays.

Handy to know Blois is not said as "blue Louise" combined if we ever go there 😁 I'm sure we'll undoubtedly forget even if we do.
Now you are extremely trusting/brave for not only accepting the offer of a man emerging from a cellar inviting you in (!), but then back at his house for dinner! 😂 What a lovely thing to do, I wonder if that's more typical of the French people than here? Glad you are still alive to tell the tale and experienced such kindness. Plus, he was quite the handsome chap, so he couldn't possibly have been a serial killer, right? Right?! 🤪
Looks a great place to visit even if the rain made it difficult. A few days after we left you we tried filming in King's Lynn, the weather was rotten so I don't think we've got much to show for it 😂😬

We were blown away by the hospitality. Thankfully not literally. 🤣😂🤣
We weren't thinking about Ted Bundy and the "Bundy Bug" at all when we got in the car...🫣🤣
There must be people like this all over the world, it's just getting increasingly difficult to find them as the world gets less trusting.
Hope you had a good time in King's Lynn, even if the weather wasn't favourable. I (Alison) like King's Lynn. Lots of beautiful old buildings.
      Safe travels guys. 😘😘💜🤟

@@findingxanadulife yes definitely harder to find such people, perhaps understandably but certainly makes it a shock when you do!
King's Lynn was gorgeous but it was an awful day so didn't get too much. Agree with you Alison the buildings were very attractive and definitely the highlight
