The Loire Valley is just so majestic! I remember how I held my breath when I was overlooking Amboise from the chateau. I hope you're a-okay, kabayan! :)
I'm from the Loire Valley. I don't live there anymore (but I go back each year) and after many years out of the region I still find that something's missing when a town or a city does not have at least a small castle 😉 . My favorite château is Chenonceau, for its elegance.
Really great Video. I'm Swedish and also exploring France since about 12 years now. Together with my wife. We love thw loire Valley! And, today, we have been in almost every corner of France. We are soon retired and will restart to explore France again.... We have our fauvorites, of course. Loire Valley is one of them. Normandie and Bretagne are also on our list. But we also enjoy the Alps of Provence. (We avoid the Riviera - it's not our style with all the tourists). Looking forward to follow you! Br, Johnny & Ewa - from Sweden
Yes a couple of days for us is extremely short. We hope to spend more time exploring the valley in the future. Hope to visit Chateau de Bournand! Thank you for watching!🥰🏰
I wish France was a Monarch today. Its so sad & such a shame its not anymore. R.I.P French Royalists. R.I.P gone Kingdom of France. 👑⚜️⚜️⚜️👑⛪➕💐✝️😔🙏🤲🥀💔🏰⚔️🥂😞😢🌫️
So beautiful. We're planning to visit the Loire Valley this weekend too. And probably too ambitious to be visiting as many chateaux as possible in one day. Do you have to pay for the tickets to visit the gardens of Chateau Chenonceau?
Hi! Yes you have to pay before entry to the gardens and chateau. There will be tickets right next to the gate to the entire property. Tickets are 15,5€ nowadays. Have a wonderful time and hope you cover as much chateaus as possible! Thanks a bunch!
Hey there Just a quick correction king Henry 2 wife is Catherine de medeci also known as the serpent queen... There is a painting of her in Chenonceau castle in the room that used to be diane's as he kicked Diane out when she became regent at Henry's death
Oohh I haven’t noticed the painting! Thanks for the interesting info. I think I did mention there she is the wife but ah so much history I loose track😂
Hello Lois! Thank you🥰 Yes we did it by car and I think it’s the best way as you can spend more time in a certain place. You can stop by some interesting places you happen to pass by. Hope you have a fun time! 🚘

You're welcome.
For this it was necessary that the Royalty neither ruin nor starve France. It is from this result that the Revolution started.

Thumbs down for the hardcoded subtitles. Those are distracting and unnecessary. If I want subs, I'll turn them on.
