Bitter sweetness comes to mind when I listen to this song. Tripshots is one of the few composers I know of to use Miku's voice so impeccably (listen to the emotion following the 7:00 mark). Alas, he doesn't compose music anymore but I'm crossing my fingers for a comeback!

Yeah!!! Tripshots was one of the few vocaloid creators who made adult-like music! Some others were AVTechNO!, Hachioji P, Tiara, Yunosuke, okameP and Clean Tears. They all would be ignored from Hatsune's Expos, and with that a chance for Hatsune and all vocaloids to be taken seriously even by manga followers.
I feel you man. Any time I ever saw her Magical Mirai it seems like the songs were geared more towards kids (even if there were a ton of adults in the audience waving light wands around). I never understood how heavy hitters like Clean Tears never even got any kind of recognition from these concerts. Sad.....

I'd been waiting months and months for this upload! Jumped on it the moment I saw it -- I've owed a comment for a month now. This is a good followup to Horizontal Grays. I thought the remix was a bit closer. But neither the original nor the remix are as ambient as Horizontal Grays: Miku sings here a much more focused melody and both the percussion and synth stabs are more powerful. I think nothing out there is quite like Horizontal Grays. Alone is a different kind of emotional intensity. I love the keening second melody starting around 5:30 -- especially 7:00 as you highlight. Alone was evidently composed as a response to the events of 2011 and it shows beautifully.

Well that was weird. I was sitting there enjoying your upload and an ad broke into the song HALFWAY through. Did anyone else have that happen, or was it just me? But I digress. You've been hitting them out of the ballpark with these last few uploads! Especially the last couple Blue Twinkle songs.
That is really weird... Ads should never play on this channel.

@Keerosah9970, I always thought being alone was bad or not good but i have found joy with it and its helped sharpen my mind but at times it would be nice to have another person around. As i listen i recall moments in my life that do desire this in truth i don't know if im ready thats what i tell myself theres more to it, but one thing thats most important i want said person to like me for the me that "i am" not the person "im not". Ive seen many changed it could be positive or negative. I just dont know honestly but one thing is certain im opened to it and thats what ill trust and follow it through. Im shocked to hear another Tripp Shots song one of my all time favorites 😍 ❤, must of been a hassle searching for it but im happy to hear yet another beauty😊
Oh, it was no hassle. Tripshots didn't compose many songs so you can easily come across it on his vocadb profile and the album is not hard to obtain.
