I never did enjoy Summer too much. Perhaps it's due to the fact I live in the 2nd hottest region in all of North America. The summers where I live can be pretty harsh. This year's summer has been pretty mild, as we didn't have any days over 120F (50C). It did decide to outstay its welcome though.
Until just this week, we've still been around 98F (37C) temperatures. But the cold front is finally moving in and is starting to cool things down a bit.
This song is perfect for saying the final goodbyes to Summer, and saying hello to the coming Winter. And all of the beautiful Yuki Miku art that comes with it of course.
This track was created by Clean Tears. It can be found in the "Remind -2011 NATSU" album.

clean tears is truly a legend in his own ways. I just never understand why vocal trance never took off properly :(

@@jrharbortproductions I'm partial to that time period because that's when I first got into Vocaloid and other electronic genres. At least this style isn't completely dead, so there's still some new content to look for every once in a while.

I keep this unofficial tradition to listen to this particular song every year before autumn begins.
I even phased out of listening to Miku during my later high school/early college years after my initial interest back when I was in 7th grade, and I started getting back into her this year, in my 3rd year in college.
Don't like being sentimental or anything, especially when I can look past her anime character and know she's just a software. But I'd be lying if I didn't admit that it feels like I've reconnected with an old friend this year and picked back up where we left off, listening to old favorites like these and finding new ones.
It's bittersweet how the world works sometimes.

I’m 31 and I’ll listen to Miku forever. Idc if she’s a just voice software or an anime character. These songs have been with me for so long and being back many good memories that will never happen again. Vocaliod is a gift and I’m going to always appreciate when it brings me!

I have shared this song around august the last couple of years, since I first heard it. It has the perfect melancholy as well as pure joy for the ending summer.
Music like this has that affect on people. I remember being in my early 20's when I first heard this song when this got uploaded. I still listen to it now and it's like loading a playlist of memories and nostalgia. I love it because of what it reminds me of, but I also miss it so dearly. 2010-2013 will always be the golden age for me and music like this.
Classic, instantly showering me with nostalgia. Hope this never goes away as long as Internet exists.

This song really brings me back. I remember I discovered it when I was a teenager. Now I'm a senior in college and it's stressful. But this song reminds me of the simplicity of my teenage years.

Same... I discovered this song in junior year of high school and it was one of my favorites. I graduated college 5 years ago and climbed the corporate ladder a decent amount so far. I'm fully aware of this, but I'm insinuating it also gives the feel of Clannad due to the piano's cibrant and soft melody that plays throughout the song and then the soft warmth of the melody and how it rings and gives this feeling of tranquility as well as be upbeat at the same time like Kanon. :) (Also the piano's too of course)

This reminds me of a moment from my summer. I remember sitting in an empty field near my house. The wind blowing, creating the illusion that the field glowed. I sat listening to the cicadas, drifting into a daze. The air felt warm, but cool at the same time. I seemed to forget everything about myself, and everything else. When the moment finally ended, it seemed several hours had passed. It made me happy to have experience that moment.
