I have just binge watched all of your emulator videos on steam deck. I am now fully set up on mine with all my favourite childhood games available anywhere I want. Thanks for the good tutorial. There is a way to create .cso files from .iso files on Linux (what the Steam Deck runs) too. The tool is called ciso. You install it and then in a terminal you run the command like this: `ciso [compression level] infile.iso outfile.cso`. Compression level is a number 1 - 9.
Yes the ppsspp is definitely worth it on deck. Excellent performance I have tested 8 games all works perfectly with 60fps and better graphics than original PSP screen.
You can download from steam deck directly. Deck is a pc it can do all stuff windows can handle. Just make sure plugged when you are downloading big files.
Does anyone else have a diff face to emudeck? I don’t have any of the layouts here and I’m stuck trying to get psp games to work. Someone please help me
I was trying to use this guide but the tabs in the new EmuDeck looks completely different mainly the parse section . I'm totally confuse there as is completely different as I guess it was change in later update . Can you do this guide with the update Emudeck ?.
Ok now my issue is PPSSPP roms through EmuDeck are showing up in Gaming Mode but when i click on them they are not working, they just crash . In desktop mode they work in the PPSSPP app . My PS2 roms works and looks great with your PS2 tutorial. Thanks

@@ED4T thanks for replying, the problem is that I was doing it offline, apparently for the "tools and stuff" to show up you need to be connected to the internet and unfortunately for me I have to ration my data, but I followed every steps you provided in this video and it worked. I'm glad I was able to transfer my save data together with the DLC from android, I'm very happy that I get to play Peace Walker while listening to Heavens Divide. Thanks for making this video.

@@ED4T Got the Steam Rom Manager working after a reseting the Rom Manager but PPSSPP (psp) games crash when i tried to start them in gaming mode .

Bios already built in with the ppspp emulator. You dont have to look for them.

Have you installed the EmuDeck ? Pick the custom mode and follow the step through then relaunch EmuDeck you will see tools & stuff

Great video tutorial, is there a way to add dlc? Like the rock band unplugged dlc
you can install dlc from desktop mode - run ppsspp from appllication list then select install dlc - pick your dlc files.

did you put he game in SD card rom folder ? It seems the emulator can’t find you storage
@@ED4T Yes i did. I did everything i do normally with my other games i uploaded it to the psp rom file

Have you try with different ROMs. Maybe just a corrupted file.
