Great video there Tristan, I have also uploaded another video the other day.
Cheers mate stay safe.
I saw that man keep it up and put more descriptive titles not just the dates
Killer content as always Tristan !!! Love ❤️ the new exhaust system mate, Spool Up and bring on the boost !!! 😜👍🇦🇺
Thanks Richo! You are the MVP
Nice one I had Invidia single exit exhaust on my WRX Hatch. Real easy to fit. Sounded great. And those flanges with the ribs on the back help in the welding process so they don't warp.
I cannot wait to hear what mine sounds like
Tristan, you might remember me from when you first boosted the civic with no tune, wrote about the stock hardware... if you want a good way to clean steel parts, look into electrolysis. Basically a big green bin full of water with 10 scoops of washing poweder mixed in. You need to use a 10A or so 30V bench supply (an old car battery charger will work too). Connect the ground to the piece you want to clean and the pisitive to a sacrificial anode such as rebar etc, leave it for 24 hours and will strip rust and paint away effortlessly. Done this with numerous engine blocks and steel parts. Hope this helps, cheers, Mike (aka Wombat)
Ah yes kombatwombat how are you mate
I have been thinking about ultrasonically cleaning and electro cleaning
@@TURBOTRISTO good mate, been flat out settling on a house in FNQ, been talking about starting my own channel specialising in EFI hardware with a focus on open source stuff like speeduino, pi dash etc and some product teardowns... give me a few months🤣
Nice one my friend
Thanks brother
@@TURBOTRISTO You're welcome brother
Nice dude!!!!
Cheers mate
The balance shaft delete quite significantly reduces nvh. People worry about balance shaft belts breaking but in my many years of dsm and evo stuff, ive never seen this happen myself. If it does, its almost always install error anyway.
Whether you can deal with the added nvh of the balance shaft delete is preference but either way, i suggest NOT going with solid or poly motor mounts if you do devide to delete it. The combination of the two is wuite unbarable imo.
Thanks heaps John I won’t be bothered by the nvh I have a Kswap civic turbo on solid mounts everything rattles
First 😊
Yes you are! legend
