It did, and it has been amazing thus far. I have been having trouble in the pixel version but the remake has been absolutely splended and has me hyped for the new Echoes of Wisdom!
I love that you can hear the original Gameboy version shining through in certain parts. This song always a feel to me "okay, you're 90% of the way through the game, we're in the last part of the game, but 90% of the game's difficulty alone is going to be contained in this final part, but still, I can do this. It won't be easy, but I can, and must, find a way to do this"
I absolutely love this version. The Gameboy version is always in my heart, but they absolutely went all out with this iteration. I like bumping this track as I'm riding through tall hillsides
i do not think its underrated, but underappreciated. Everyone who plays the game always rates it extremely high, but most people havent played the game sadly.
Regardless of what you think of the rest of the soundtrack, this is the one piece that is undeniably better than its original version. . .which is saying something considering this is the best song in both versions.
What an absolute banger, it makes the end game really badass. Though I'm a bit sad the Tal-Tal heights progression was made of a lot of caves stopping the music in its track quite regularly
I love that they remade Link's awakening basically twice because it's one of the few Zelda games that literally keeps holding up how powerful it's story and music just is! And the fact they probably did it to test the waters with it before making sure echoes of wisdom would do good if this remake did and I'm assuming it did great because I still love this fantastic game! Such a gem
No suena hispanoamericano (de pronto los instrumentos) pero eso es ofensivo lo que dices 😔suena mas a un concierto japones de en montaña o desierto (de pronto el toque de caballos y desierto te hace pensar en México)

I dont care what anyone says, this game DESERVED its remake.
Love every part of the remake. It's gorgeous everywhere you look or listen
it did

Hopefully the oracle series are next. They’re strongly connected to those capcom-developed GBC games.
What a song. And to think this was originally made for the GAMEBOY!!
Gameboy version still holds up. (But yes, this is nice.)
Yeah, gameboy version is peak.
I realize that this is probably the only Zelda remake we’ve ever had. I don’t really count the switch/wii u/3ds ports to be true remakes.
holy shit, this came out in 2019 GODAMN TIME FLIES
I can tell I'm getting old when my first thought is "that's only five years ago" since I used to think of five years as a long time.
That’s how I feel about the original game coming out over 30 years ago…

There is so much going on and it just works perfectly. God damn.
Absolute banger of a tune.
This game is highly underrated, and therefore so is its soundtrack.
The soundtrack? Best in the world if gaming, both old versions and new.

The 8-bit sound in some parts is super great and i love it

0:32-0:42 reminds me of the Bravely Default soundtrack, and old school Square Enix / RPG soundtracks

As good as Gerudo valley from OOT
Better than Gerudo Valley
YES BETTER
LA does not get the love it deserves
the nostalgia
This inspired one of my favorite mountain themes
This is one of my favorite 2D Zelda games.
i came here for this
la mejor cancion me re encanta 😁
Dis a bop
My only problem with this song is that you're never outside long enough to hear the whole thing
Crushes the Gameboy version. What a fantastic tribute.
This whole game is a massive upgrade to the original game

I love this song!
Who cried when they heard the original 8-bit part of the song come on?
This sounds like if gerudo valley and tal tal heights had a kid and made this OST
You should be able to choose a companion
Sounds like Zelda in Mexico lmfaooo 😂😂😂
