Skip Boracay! Go to Bohol Philippines Instead!! (Cebu)
Boracay Island was a nice place to visit during my time in the Philippines, but it was a bit overrated. My next stop was Cebu and then on to Bohol to visit the famous Chocolate Hills. Bohol has a lot more culture than Boracay, with lovely beaches and more touristy places to visit! Bohol is also easy to get around if you hire a private car with a guide who can take you everywhere and explain everything to you! Boracay, to Cebu, to Bohol was a journey!
If you are looking for a nice beach in the Philippines with more culture than Boracay, and cheaper prices, you need not look further than Bohol, Bohol has the famous Chocolate Hills that are amazing in the summer time; just a picturesque sight for travelers and tourists! I loved Bohol and wish I didn't go on a day trip, but instead, spent two or three days there! I wasted time in Boracay and missed the beauty of Bohol!

I spent too much time in Boracay during my time in the Philippines...DOn't make the mistake I did! Skip Boracay and go directly to Cebu and then Bohol!!! What did you think about Bohol Island?!

The airplane food actually looked good!
Also, never heard of a terminal fee...
That boat restaurant was nuts, so cool!
That's really good to know about tipping too because I never know as each country has different expectations with that.

That chicken was super bomb!! I actually just made a video about it lol. Maaaaan, the Philippines has so many hidden fees, I was a little tucked off about that, but I understand the hustle. But sheesh...a terminal fee to go and a terminal fee to return, on top of the boat ticket is just ridiculous. Fortunately, it's not so much for tourists. Filipinos don't pay those fees! Yeah, they love tips here! I always had the money ready to give them. Even if you give them something small, they smile and appear very appreciative of it! Always appreciate your support!!!
