@@motherlandmars5999 😂 no. Pagan god has no power
You are a brilliant artist and a fabulous teacher.
I’m currently exploring the crazy world of realism 😅 this means ignoring my instinct to do line art and my cartoon realism style
but!!!
I’m improving!!!!
“Before I begin....."
me: Oh I know that I should subscribe....
“I like to set goals”
OK?
Had a great art teacher called Ms. Karp, looks like I now have two great art teachers called Ms karp
You have explained it beautifully.. Learning basic is priority to be an artist.
I get a lot of compliments for my drawings and at a point I realised that maybe I was drawing to get compliments . So now sometimes after I make a drawing I tear it purposely . That helps me realise if I did it for others or myself
Thank you so much, you are an amazing artist!
thanks!
Excellent tips!! Love that it isn’t just ‘practice more’ but some really helpful ideas to get the creative juices flowing.
summary
1) draw from life (like apples or your cat)- think about lighting and composition
2) create a character- take an object and turn it into a character
3) challenge yourself- draw 100 of anything
4) doodle away- just get your hand moving
5) reference study black/white and color- find a picture and paint it
This is the first video that I have seen that does not say to just practise because I practise ever but it make. It much difference
You are so very talented. And you speak so casually about it, as if it’s normal.
Loved the black and white idea ....I'm gonna try this 😍
thank you! your channel is so inspiring and today especially I needed some motivation. I always am so stressed with my drawings but watching you in both the mediums and the 100 heads challenge made me happier and more inspired. thanks again

Hey omg when I swipe your profile up and down its moving🥴

I don't show my art to anyone cuz I just draw emotions or scenes which are inside me because I'm not good with words

Can you make a video about how you were introduced to art and what did you study in college ?
i was bored so i watched this, found a reference, and made a beautiful drawing. thanks
Wow, this is one of the very best videos about art advice I had seen! Bravo! 💛
Thanks !
I think this will help my "drawing block", thank you so much for ur time, glad you popped up!:)
I love this! Great tips! You are very disciplined to do art consistently and your talent shows. You create things so fast and confidently. Working on that.
new favorite art UA-cam channel? I think so.
wow! Thanks!
this is the video I have looking for all along!! thank you so much
This is exactly what I needed to see 🙌🏾
awesome! thanks!
I used to draw more back in Art School, had a long break after because I shifted to Web and Graphic Design for many years, but I've decided to draw more, this video is definitely an inspiration, thank you Jess! :)
Your cat made me subscribed 😆 (kidding aside) I just want to thank you for making me feel 'okay' and ready to take new challenges when it comes to art. Ever since I took up art class things turned up complicated, it made me constrict to do anything about art. That made me stop doing art (except in school works) but now that my course in college is related to art, I'm trying to gain my confidence back on the track.
I'm starting tomorrow to fill up my ooooolddd sketchbook. 😊
I love this! 😍 I wanted to finish mine for a sketchbook tour so now I am inspired! ❤️ Thanks for always inspiring me to create art videos!
Ur art is so beautiful to watch 💖
I love seeing your art Jess it just makes me feel so many emotions, I really admire you.
Omg I am really impressed with the amount of lessons that I learned just from this video. Tbh I'm glad that UA-cam recommend this to me. Thank you

I'm not good at drawing, can I start painting? I'd like to draw as a hobby.
You practice drawing and painting at the same time
Yesss and if u feel like your drawings are not that nice just practice over and over again you can do it
@@rababhe516 Thank you. I'll keep practicing. 😊

You don’t need to be able to draw to paint.
