*I have a message for the narrator.* In the scene where Vickers goes and talks to Wayland right before he goes to meet the Engineer, there is very specific meaning. The theatrical versión was cut by the studio 'cause it "was too long" and when I saw it nothing made sense. The Director's Cut is an amazing movie. Probably the same happened here.
In the latest concept arts from what would have been the Prometheus sequel, it's likely a piece of the green crystal that lines the hallways of the Engineer's home world.
Greetings KROFT! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE UOUR PASSION about the finer details involving the mysteries behind certain important but unanswered scenes in Prometheus!
I believe the scene between father and daughter was tension about Weyland not wanting a daughter . He remaindered her , her whole life that she was not a son, therefore a failure.
At 7:12 it's not mentioned in the movie, but it is hinted that he infected Halloway. Since there's no way for him to know what infected Halloway unless he was there/did it.
Very interesting insight. It's good to have a hold of the original script. It seems the Ridley Scott cut out a LOT of scenes from the script just to make the movie more mysterious. Either that or to use in later "bonus scenes" on DVD releases. However that also made the movie a lot more confusing and convoluted than it had to be. After watching many of your videos revealing golden bits from hte script i see Prometheus with different eyes. The movie with all those scenes (or at least half of them) would have become a sci-fi masterpiece. Even an extended conversation with the Engineer before he went terminator mode would have been much better for the movie. The crew of the ship was hired by Vickers in order to sabotage her father's dream, but at the same time she sabotaged herself and all the people on that ship. The green goo on the control panel is actually engineer blood. This also confirms the theory that the engineers from the ship were bio-engineered beings and not the original engineers. This is why these engineers were able to survive for millions of years after the seeding process. Their creators, the old engineers went extinct a long time ago (possibly millions of years ago) and they left these advanced androids to watch over the developing races on the successfully seeded planets. The neo-engineers were basically immortal as long as they could repair themselves, however they had the same inherent flaw of their makers - they were sterile.
THANK YOU for confirming my theory that Vickers hired them! The line that gives this away is still in the movie, it's just a lot more subtle. "For those who I hired personally....welcome back" But Vickers wanted the mission to fail! So it's all in there, just way more subtle.
And so it make her an absolute idiot for wanting to being part of this suicidal mission crewed by Conspiracy-youtubers level morrons. Why didn't she stayed on Earth and just let things fall apart alone? The dumbass Promotheus crew didn't need her presence to kill themselves.

is there any chance the world in Covenant is the second one Shaw and David visit, and they actually saw the engineer home world between P and A:C (with A:C "engineers" being another experiment, just like humans ?
Because you watched it for lore, they watched it for 'Alien' experience. I kinda agreed with most people movie sucked, until i watched this clip. Mind you, I was watching for lore as well. Reason I came across think link - I wanted to hear example of Proto Indo European language.
if Vicker's sabotage was kept in the script I was more than satisfied. Why is it that Prometheus needs you to do research within the creation of this film rather than show this in the fucking movie?....
Theory for weylands fist. Maybe weyland is racist and he beat her for dating a black guy when she was a teen. Maybe that explains why vickers goes to yanik and sleeps with him for seemingly no motivation. There was zero sexual tension before and during that scene.
thanx for all the great videos, I enjoy them alot! Keep up the good work 👍 hope you dont mind me asking: what is the name of the music playing in the background? 😁
Something that puzzles me is the Juggernaut encounter with Paradise. The ship itself has been missing for years, centuries even, with no contact with Paradise, yet no one is suspicious?
I don't think the engineers left an invite, I think it was humans drawing pictures inside caves, they were drawing their experiences and what they saw or valued as important hence hunting and so on, there would of been some communication between the 2 races hence humans already knowing engineers came from the sky and it would have been shown to them so they would have drawn it because as I say an important event, Well that's my theory without thinking for to long about it, On a seperate note I always wondered about 2 moons
I’m glad they didn’t include the part about them torching some poor mutated neomorph like thing with its arms outstretched. For some reason Vickers torching Holloway didn’t make me sad, it just freaked me out, but some creature with infant like intelligence with arms outstretched...for some reason would have fucked with me
My idea for a third alien/prometheus movie is as follows: The engineers are the main characters in the movie and comes to the planet that was in the Prometheus movie. There they find Weyland inside the crashed spaceship. They have a blue elixir which they empty all over him and bring him to life. In the next part they arrive at the planet from alien covenant and find the other robot(Walter) who is david's twin. The engineers use the blue elixir and repairs him. Once awaken the engineers and Weyland get to know all the horrible things that David has done, and weyland says "we have to stop David" . They set course for origae. When they arrive, they scans all the planet, and finds the planet is full of hostile organisms except on a high mountain where they discover that there are humans inside a cave. Inside the cave they meet a herd of children, who tell that when they had lived on the planet for over ten years, they began to be attacked by Xenomorphs and all the adults died or were turned into these creatures. There were also great giants developed by someone the children calls David. The engineers get ready to wipe out all the Xenomorphs that David has created, but the great giants manage to escape with one of the engineers' spaceships. The engineers and Weyland hunts the spaceship and manage to force the spaceship down on the planet lv426.Where it start sending a distress signal. The engineers return to Origae to find David, but discover that he has escaped. In the last part we see David arriving and meeting an unknown alien species on a tropical like planet. And that makes the cliffhanger that ends the third movie.
The problem ultimately I feel the filmmakers faced with this franchise is just the levels of existential dread faced within all aspects of this movie. Covenant I think was suppose to be another ship finding Shaw and Davids ship and trying to understand what happen to them in this strange alien planet, with horrific creatures. It was suppose to be the horror of finding what you believe is your creator and having them loath you, and preform disgusting experiments on you, and ultimately use your own body as a host for something they would adore. That movie does not have a happy ending, and very much leaves the viewer in horror, but a horror that is mostly existential. David has taken the place of the engineers, and it has flipped from horror of the creator to horror of the creation. Very much like Frankenstein. The issue is that the horror becomes less existential and more tangible, physical, and thus less threatening. I think they realized if they went for the BIG horror, it would leave them with no direction to go further. Once you eliminate the Engineer/God then what have you left? Nihilism? An endless chain of horrific and negative outcomes? Even Nietzsche stated that if you kill God, then you better have something to replace him with or else you will fall into complete disarray. To some degree they realized this conclusion, that the ending would undoubtedly lead to nothing, just horror. Which may not work with audiences, so they went with the small horror and something that the audience was expecting. That's why it's ALIEN: Covenant and not just COVENANT. I would have liked them to go into the BIG HORROR instead of alluding to it. Give me David/Engineers experimenting, give the audience the full existential horror that the franchise was based on. Let the audence think a little about it. Shoot the science of the NEOmorphs and Xenomorphs more like a documentary, the secret is out, the creature is known. Give the audience more reason to fear the creature. People know Sharks, but they still are horrified of them. There are plenty of animals which can kill people in horrifying ways, it's the method of death that makes this creature very horrifying.
I am quite sure it is a "thingie" placed there as a tribute to an earlier b-movie from 60-70s, which had an juggernaut shaped ship and also a giant skeleton of an alien pilot seated in the cockpit. There was a stone too.
This really reshapes this movie. It's not obvious on first viewing that there is Wayland's agenda, Vicker's agenda, the people who think they're on some totally different mission, and then Davids's agenda going on in this movie, which all comulates at the end in a diaster.
The Fact That if they make another movie it would get hella Views and this guy only talks about This an Gets to 18k subs...amazing...that shows hes a good speaker

is there any chance the world in Covenant is the second one Shaw and David visit, and they actually saw the engineer home world between P and A:C (with A:C "engineers" being another experiment, just like humans ?
you are like the greatest living expert on this subject, hands down.
great video man. I love this movie and don't get why so many people disliked it.
Because you watched it for lore, they watched it for 'Alien' experience. I kinda agreed with most people movie sucked, until i watched this clip. Mind you, I was watching for lore as well. Reason I came across think link - I wanted to hear example of Proto Indo European language.
Epic! Great video.
if Vicker's sabotage was kept in the script I was more than satisfied.
There was zero sexual tension before and during that scene.
lol
thanx for all the great videos, I enjoy them alot! Keep up the good work 👍 hope you dont mind me asking: what is the name of the music playing in the background? 😁
It’s audionautix atlantis
What is the name of this background music? I really like it
Why not stay with the script?! This is too good.
Poor Vickers...
I wish that we could've seen this continued, instead of what we got.
Something that puzzles me is the Juggernaut encounter with Paradise. The ship itself has been missing for years, centuries even, with no contact with Paradise, yet no one is suspicious?
well.... let's wait director's cut edition
It should be like Evangelion, making more movies with these alternative stories.
I love your videos so much. ❤️❤️❤️ What is the soundtrack you use in the background? It’s so peaceful
Very interesting.....I cannot wait for Ridley to make the next movie! Sssooo much to think about! I love it
I don't think the engineers left an invite, I think it was humans drawing pictures inside caves, they were drawing their experiences and what they saw or valued as important hence hunting and so on, there would of been some communication between the 2 races hence humans already knowing engineers came from the sky and it would have been shown to them so they would have drawn it because as I say an important event,
Well that's my theory without thinking for to long about it,
On a seperate note I always wondered about 2 moons
The background music. Where can I find it?
I’m glad they didn’t include the part about them torching some poor mutated neomorph like thing with its arms outstretched. For some reason Vickers torching Holloway didn’t make me sad, it just freaked me out, but some creature with infant like intelligence with arms outstretched...for some reason would have fucked with me
My idea for a third alien/prometheus movie is as follows:
The engineers are the main characters in the movie and comes to the planet that was in the Prometheus movie.
When they arrive, they scans all the planet, and finds the planet is full of hostile organisms except
on a high mountain where they discover that there are humans inside a cave.
Inside the cave they meet a herd of children, who tell that when they had lived on the planet for over ten years,
they began to be attacked by Xenomorphs and all the adults died or were turned into these creatures.
In the last part we see David arriving and meeting an unknown alien species
on a tropical like planet.
Could engineers be hybrid beings, cybernetic humans, not entirely machines, not entirely human?
No watch Kroft's video about the Deacon. Deacon Explained it will you everything you want to Know
This really reshapes this movie. It's not obvious on first viewing that there is Wayland's agenda, Vicker's agenda, the people who think they're on some totally different mission, and then Davids's agenda going on in this movie, which all comulates at the end in a diaster.
i want the song playing on the background please
5:22 he lusts for immortality, to master his universe but also feels that she's right, his insecurity wins.
The Fact That if they make another movie it would get hella Views and this guy only talks about This an Gets to 18k subs...amazing...that shows hes a good speaker
