It seems to me like Sean wanted to make the other guy look as bad as possible from start to finish.
So in the beginning, barely bothering to defend himself, and then later...
telegraphing shots from another postcode. Which the guy had no answer for.

I support this interaction 100%. This is what influencers are fueled by. They build their relevance on the interactions with people that are better and more renowned than themselves. Recently, they've been basically treating MMA fighters like zoo exhibits, thinking they can just slide in, take pictures, being close to danger but not really, and benefit from it. In my mind, Sean is making this transaction a fairer one. I don't like influencers either, I think they're usually talentless scourge on the society, but Sneako did put his money where his mouth is and didn't complain. Fair transaction.

@@lao-grotten1101 It is about reputation. Imagine if an influencer gets into the ring with a fighter, and the fighter goes really easy on him. Now imagine if the influencer is a di-k and starts talking sh-t about the fighter and the sparring session after the fact, and how well he did against him, inflating his own reputation at the expense of the fighter's. The only thing the fighter can do after the fact is to regret sparring with the a-hole in the first place, with no chance to set the record straight. Paul usually weighs in around 185-190lb but likely is around 200lb at the fight. Strickland probably weighs about 190lb fight night. They have the same height and reach.
Paul usually fights big names from 10 years ago (retired), but Strickland is only 5 years older, fresh off of being the UFC Middleweight champ, last 2 fights against killers went the full 25min, he took very little damage, shutdown and almost KO'd and TKO'd Izzy (one of the greatest middleweights ever in MMA who's one of the striking GOATs), all he does is spar and cardio, and he's fearless/crazy. He relies heavily on his 1 and 2 (boxing) which is insane that got him the belt, but in a boxing match is what you're supposed to do. His use of a Philly Shell is masterful in MMA and he probably has the best defense of any MMA fighter I can think of right now. He can be knocked out, but he doesn't have a Ben Askren paper chin. He also wouldn't have to worry about kicks and takedowns.
Paul got a 1st round KO over a serious boxer in his weight class, and went the distance with Tommy Fury. He's famous for his powerful punches, has ok cardio, but lack luster defense. He's a one trick pony with a tremendous cross.
I think a fight between them would look like Strickland being his cautious self, Paul waiting for a chance to counter, not a lot of action at first, but Paul breaks first throwing haymakers, Strickland slipping them and throwing and landing more punches. Paul is doing more and tires quicker, but at a faster rate move for move with Strickland. Fight would probably go the distance if Paul didn't KO Strickland in the first round or 2, and Strickland would win in a UD if not TKO Paul at some point.
My money's for sure on Strickland though.

I think Strickland was more focused on destroying sneako mentally rather than physically which is why he kept talking him down and just randomly threw hands, seems like Sean wanted sneako to break from the inside but the outcome looks quite the opposite. yes, sneako got destroyed physically but mentally not so much. Sneako did gain more than he lost in this fight.

Strickland wasn't fighting his normal way. He's just going natural like you do in a real fight as he was just putting a beating on him as he loved to fight and was just letting lose, not in fight mode and being technical and picking shots.
