There's actually a lucid-dreaming technique about drinking a LOT of water before going to bed because peeing in a dream is a useful reality-check since you never get satisfied. I did that on my last lucid dream, but that one is still not in my youtube channel.
No joke in the middle of the night I did the “reality check” thing just for fun even though I “knew” I was awake, but then my finger went straight through my hand and I woke up terrified.
I swear on everything I did the same reality check and I had 6 fingers, and once I realized I was in a dream and at school, I had to do what I had to do.🍑🍆

I have been “training” myself to lucid dream for about 10 years. I just recently built a subconscious “realm” where I have connected my dreams in a single world. I have found things in my subconscious that I didn’t realize were there. The best way I automatically put myself in lucid dreams is to make up a conversation with someone I want to have in the dream.
@@nightgolem7377 when I wake up I remember at least 2 of them, but then I forget it during the day. I really want to recall it, but doesnt work sometimes, so now everytime in the morning I just write down my dreams and its cool)
I’ve lucid dreamt for the last few years, it feels like going into a second life. When I wake up it just pauses the “dream.” I know all of the characters in my dreams, and frequently visit the same locations. The most beautiful feeling is “Oh, this is a dream 100%. Don’t think about it” The art is staying out of your head and not thinking about “I’m dreaming” because it can wake you up quickly. The feeling of “wow this is so real, but I know it’s not. How am I here-here right now?” Mind blowing
I'm not an expert by any means but, I read online that sometimes the surprise of gaining your consciousness can alarm you and wake you so, they suggest distracting your brain and kind of grounding yourself in a sensation like kneeling and feeling carpet, grass, floors just anything that will allow you to concentrate on something other than the alarm youre feeling. I'm not certain this works but, it's what I've read.
Bro one time I had a random dream about lilo and stitch and we were being chased by random monsters. When the zombies were getting close all of a sudden I gained conciousness in the dream and screamed "no I want out of the dream." All of a sudden I got a phone shut down screen and woke up 🤷♂️
I learned to lucid dream when I was about 6 or 7. Due to having constant nightmares, and being scared to go to sleep, I challenged my demons and trained myself to control my dreams. I did not know what lucid dreaming was at the time. I can consciously think during dreams - much like watching a TV programme. I can watch my dreams in 1st or 3rd person views. I can go wherever, think whatever, change whatever and do whatever.
Once day, I had no injuries on my lower leg. And then, I went to bed, I got hurt in my dream, and the next morning, there was a light "scar" on my leg (I think my brain tricked my body into "getting hurt"). It's gone now, only lasted a day, and I did a reality check the day before, after, and during... Weird, right?
when ever i realize im dreaming i can feel my eyelids being closed irl but in the dream i can still see then i end up fighting to keep my eyes closed irl and usually wake up. sometimes i open my eyes by accident irl and see the ceiling then quickly close my eyes and ill still be in the dream its trippy af but ive never lasted more then 5 seconds in the dream after that
I can lucid dream at will after spending time doing it. I learned to do it with the simple use of an alarm clock. I would set my alarm clock to wake me up at some point where I would be in deep sleep. It helps to be absolutely exhausted so that you're more likely to sleep well into the REM phase. When my alarm rings I hit the snooze button for 15 minutes and continue that process again and again until my body subconsciously expects the alarm to ring any minute now while I am dreaming. Then in my dream I remember that the reason I'm waiting for the alarm is because I'm sleeping and thus I become aware I am in a dream. After doing that over a span of weeks I began getting better at lucid dreaming without an alarm. Coincidentally the ability to lucid dream helped me stop having sleep paralysis and even helped me fight back the night hag or demon as some people call it when she'd visit during paralysis. I don't experience paralysis anymore and I willed myself to punch the hag in the face. Sounds wild I know but so are dreams. One warning I will give though. Too much lucid dreaming might get you stuck in an inception where you think you woke up in your reality and everything looks fine until something seems off and you wake up again. I once got stuck in what felt like a week in Dreamland and ever since I stopped abusing lucid dreaming. I still do occasionally but I try to do it more organically rather than planning nowadays.
Holy cheese I remember a lucid dream where I was with a classmate and we were heroes and then i thohhght I was immortal and I fell of a building and then woke up when I died
@@RAYRAY-uj5bb This can be dangerous, especially if you're not used to sleep paralysis. I tried it and I just found myself in an extended sleep paralysis, not fun.
Sleep paralysis is the first part of astral projection. You’re so lucky I’ve always wanted to try it but I’ve never experienced sleep paralysis. I feel like that would definitely be the easiest way to leave you’re body tho bc you know that when you start feeling urself moving it’s ur astral body for sure bc ur physical body is “paralyzed”!
One time I was in a dream when I was being chased by dinosaurs, and I literally dreamed bringing up the Minecraft pause menu then hitting save and quit to title then I woke up
I learned lucid dreaming when I was 9 or 10 - seldom a nightmare since - just don’t put up with them - lets you see so many types of dreams - most are common but there are plenty that aren’t including dreams that come true. I used to say I worked in my sleep - lucid dreaming can often lead to extensive learning and work-like activities.
1:49 This has happened to me plenty of times. I've even been in situations where I think I actually woke up once I was aware, but my brain literally kept me in a dream, and I was in my own bed thinking I was awake, no longer aware I was still dreaming.
ok so i wrote the rules down so i don't forget. - make sure you're in a comfortable, quiet, and peaceful environment (you can use an eye mask or blackout curtains) - make sure you sleep at the same time (have a consistent sleep schedule) - limit any activities (exercising, alcohol, sugary snacks, etc.) at least 1 hour before sleeping, and it's also better to not use any electronics while you're at it - try any method of calming your mind before going to sleep (meditation, aromatherapy, praying, etc.) - write in a dream journal (and use details- characters, locations, smells, emotions, colors, and how you felt during the dream, after waking up, and even when remembering the dream) and read through it to try to find any reoccurring patterns - go to sleep with deliberate intentions (mild- mnemonic induction to lucid dreaming). you can do this by repeating phrases in your head when you're going to sleep [i will remember my dream/ i will know when i am dreaming/ etc.] and you can even visualize what you want to dream about in your head - perform reality checks during your dream (you can do that by practicing these reality checks throughout the day- one way is to take your index finger and try to push it through the palm of your other hand, or count your fingers) - you may also try the wake back to bed method, where you wake up after 6 hours of sleep and try to occupy yourself for 30 minutes to an hour, then go back to sleep that's it!
hi so uhmm my sister is having this research about lucid dreaming and if you've ever tried it already, are you comfortable to be interviewed about it? It would be very much appreciated if u did
One day i knew that I was in a nightmare so i decided to commit suicide to wake up as fast as possible, but I simply couldn't. The dream(nightmare) kept me alive no matter what, that was really horrible. As if someone else was in control of it.😭 WEIRD 😭
The mind never lets you get harmed in a dream/nightmare. It's the same as how the protagonist of a story never dies as long as the story is still in progress.
I do this thing where if I'm in a really bad nightmare or a dream is about to turn bad and I'm able to control myself, I shut my dream eyes really hard and try to constrict every muscle in my stomach or chest and I'd always wake up :D
If you think of it, lucid dreams are like going on a trip to another world where you can be whoever you want and do whatever you want, it's really fascinating.
I'm lucky enough to be highly gifted in lucid dreams so I can flip through any kind of dreamscape I want for basically as long as I want. If I want to be in star wars I can do that and while I might sleep for only 7 hours it feels like a whole day.
Jared Shapiro I can do it intentionally but sometimes it won’t work. I usually just realize I’m in a dream and try to do certain things I wouldn’t normally do and see what the outcome would’ve been.
I love lucid dreaming and especially flying. It was a natural extension of childhood. I do know that it can lead to frightening encounters and sleep paralysis. My lucid dreams were a way to escape nightmares I often had. It helped me fight the monsters. Still I must say some call this an out of body experiences... and laugh but there are consistancieces between those experiencing these " dreams". I've felt the electricity flowing through my body. I'm a 30 plus year electrician and know the feeling. I respect the American Indian and they plus monks etc. have described the same thing for thousands of years. A feeling of power running through your body and a warning that you will become aware of dark entities. This is even mentioned in the Bible, but most " Christians" do not understand what is being said. Also I don't know if it runs in families but my grandfather had sleep paralysis. I am not into some new age kundolini but this happened naturally in my life. I have not experienced it in several years because the last time was too wierd. But I will say this, I could sleep and do barrel rolls like a fighter jet or find a beutiful woman to hang out with and it felt totally real. Better actually!

The best way I automatically put myself in lucid dreams is to make up a conversation with someone I want to have in the dream.

I’ve lucid dreamt for the last few years, it feels like going into a second life. When I wake up it just pauses the “dream.”
I know all of the characters in my dreams, and frequently visit the same locations.
The most beautiful feeling is “Oh, this is a dream 100%. Don’t think about it”
The art is staying out of your head and not thinking about “I’m dreaming” because it can wake you up quickly.

Does anyone ever have those dreams where you’re walking down some stairs and you fall but you actually kinda feel it
Btw thanks for over 200 likes!
Wilf I feel ya I have had dreams like that
I had a dream I jumped off a cliff. I felt it.
Yes
It's most likely your brain thinks that you're dead and then sent a jolt to your body to wake you up
Once day, I had no injuries on my lower leg. And then, I went to bed, I got hurt in my dream, and the next morning, there was a light "scar" on my leg (I think my brain tricked my body into "getting hurt"). It's gone now, only lasted a day, and I did a reality check the day before, after, and during... Weird, right?
Tip: even though it may seem hard, once you get into a lucid state, don’t get excited or you’ll wake up :’). Just stay calm.
Kim. exe ahh that explains why I woke up in 7 mins
Op Gogo yep! Trying to force yourself up before your body is ready to can also cause sleep paralysis. Not all the time but sometimes
It’s scary doing new things.
Kim. exe YES! Try as hard as you can to NOT experience sleep paralysis. It’s terrible.
one time i had a lucid dream and i was excited but then i couldn’t control it yet so i was sad
when ever i realize im dreaming i can feel my eyelids being closed irl but in the dream i can still see then i end up fighting to keep my eyes closed irl and usually wake up. sometimes i open my eyes by accident irl and see the ceiling then quickly close my eyes and ill still be in the dream its trippy af but ive never lasted more then 5 seconds in the dream after that
My mom accidentally kicked the pc off the bed in the night when I was sleeping then I quickly fell asleep then woke back up it's really trippy
Tate Barnum if you are Abt to wake up you can atart spinning around but only for a lil. Jus a lil tip :)
Zaza Zaza spinning in the dream? I guess something to focus on?
I read all that 🫡

Sleep paralysis is the first part of astral projection. You’re so lucky I’ve always wanted to try it but I’ve never experienced sleep paralysis. I feel like that would definitely be the easiest way to leave you’re body tho bc you know that when you start feeling urself moving it’s ur astral body for sure bc ur physical body is “paralyzed”!
Sleep paralysis is kinda fun for me ngl

I learned lucid dreaming when I was 9 or 10 - seldom a nightmare since - just don’t put up with them - lets you see so many types of dreams - most are common but there are plenty that aren’t including dreams that come true. I used to say I worked in my sleep - lucid dreaming can often lead to extensive learning and work-like activities.

Alpha hotel? Trivago.
I see no fault in this logic, but wouldn't that cause a black hole?
ok so i wrote the rules down so i don't forget.
- make sure you're in a comfortable, quiet, and peaceful environment (you can use an eye mask or blackout curtains)
- make sure you sleep at the same time (have a consistent sleep schedule)
- limit any activities (exercising, alcohol, sugary snacks, etc.) at least 1 hour before sleeping, and it's also better to not use any electronics while you're at it
- try any method of calming your mind before going to sleep (meditation, aromatherapy, praying, etc.)
- write in a dream journal (and use details- characters, locations, smells, emotions, colors, and how you felt during the dream, after waking up, and even when remembering the dream) and read through it to try to find any reoccurring patterns
- go to sleep with deliberate intentions (mild- mnemonic induction to lucid dreaming). you can do this by repeating phrases in your head when you're going to sleep [i will remember my dream/ i will know when i am dreaming/ etc.] and you can even visualize what you want to dream about in your head
- perform reality checks during your dream (you can do that by practicing these reality checks throughout the day- one way is to take your index finger and try to push it through the palm of your other hand, or count your fingers)
- you may also try the wake back to bed method, where you wake up after 6 hours of sleep and try to occupy yourself for 30 minutes to an hour, then go back to sleep
that's it!
layan nached thanks so much I love people like you who take the notes for me

The problem with death in lucid dream is that you have no shock about dying, unlike normal dreams....
Same, i was banging my head just to wake up
I tried waking myself up too but its impossible so I turned my nightmare into a good dream. Try that next time!
If you think of it, lucid dreams are like going on a trip to another world where you can be whoever you want and do whatever you want, it's really fascinating.
What if that is actually what is happening O_o
@@jangofett9782 😳
I'm lucky enough to be highly gifted in lucid dreams so I can flip through any kind of dreamscape I want for basically as long as I want. If I want to be in star wars I can do that and while I might sleep for only 7 hours it feels like a whole day.
