There’s a lot of miss information being spread here by Samsung fanboys. I went from the S10e to the One Plus 7 pro and it was the best move I’ve made in years. It was only $455 dollars btw.
I ordered 2 days ago OnePlus 7 Pro (8/256 Gb, blue) for $ 672 (this price includes tax, cashback, delivery), JD store (they had discounts at that moments). Samsung S10 + costs $ 1200 in Russia (and this is only the 8/128 GB version). The difference is about $ 530 :)
I feel most of the premium brands exist only on the basis of hype and reputation. One plus is genuinely faster, snappier and smoother than these premium brands. It's almost the level of optimisation one would expect from Google (since they are in control of both hardware and software, not to Apple's extent though). I would say that the premium brands will have to reduce their prices if they will have to compete in the future considering oneplus's growth.
The one plus brand started off with a customised version of the community made ROM cyanogenmod. They've kept adding features even though they've moved onto their own ROM now the amount of customisation you can do on this ROM is insane I just doubt the reviewer delved deep into the settings far enough or understood the settings which would be a downside of the one plus os. My assumption would be that Samsung's layout for changing things might be more intuitive than menubased.
Listen, at the end of the day there is no defined winner. The best phone depends on what's best for you. If you're price sensitive but want the bells and whistles close to a flagship get the OP7 Pro. If you have more money and prefer Samsung and a more mature ecosystem with great cameras get the and all the bells and whistles get the S10+. No need to argue which is better because we all have different needs and wants. Me I prefer the S10 but me preferring a phone doesn't take away from the other. Both great devices.

Need a good everyday phone that will last me years
I'm currently watching this video with my OnePlus 7 Pro. I've had this phone for a good week and absolutely loved it! I've upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and I never looked back. Well worth the asking price if you ask me. Awesome video sir!

@@PegimampooS yes I have now become so used to the S Pen on my Note 9 that I can't switch to any other phone. I constantly crop images, take notes and pin them to the always on display. Same here! This phone is amazing... Just switched from Iphone. Don't miss it one bit!. OP7PRO is a beast! Never knew what 90 Hz was until OP...Every phone should have it! With the price difference, you just can't beat it!
I had the Samsung Galaxy S10+ but when I tried the OnePlus 7 Pro, I instantly switched to it. The 90 Hz screen, fluid and fast UI, near bezel less screen, Warp Charging, pop up front camera (good for privacy as well since the lens is hidden when not in use), etc. So, in my opinion the OnePlus 7 Pro wins this round. Oh that price difference...yeah it definitely wins.
So many here are such Samsung fanboys it hurts... you guys are starting to sound like iPhone fanboys... I'm just happy that more companies are entering the market with very good products at better prices, competition has always been the core of our system, let's enjoy it. I dumped Apple and Samsung for this OnePlus 7 Pro and I love it... a lot cheaper than S10+ and the Xs Max where I bought it and it's a great smartphone with a magnificent unobstructed screen... fast charging, fast processing, looks nice, pop-up camera for selfies, good rear cameras and good battery life for my kind of use. I love this phone... until a better deal comes and I'll dump this one too... this is the main advantage of being on Android.
Its not about price ..its about software experience with fluent update .which normal and ordinary user will not understand ..go with lagy samsung with no updates on time...
The OnePlus 7 Pro will sink in price too later, you have to compare them fairly, using for example the same spec counterpart. For the price comparison you have to do it fairly too, these are the prices both phones started at. When discussing which to buy right now, sure, you can talk about deals and newer prices. But for a review comparison like this, it isn’t that fair in my opinion.
Why didn't you mention about night mode on the S10? I have that on exynos version, and night photos are much better than before(after may update, which brought improvements to that mode, you can use that even on wide angle).
Not really honestly flat screen displays are ugly and are overall ugly if you don't like curved screens just get a iphone lol even though iphones are pure garbage
@AmpEdition why do you care for his money if he likes it let him get and if he feels it worths the price it is at, see i am not taking sides but stop trying to change people's decision without knowing whether the decision what he takes is roght or wrong because u may not know what things he uses or not everyone are not like you different people have different needs not only in smartphone but in most of the part pf life its like convincing someone to love vanilla when he likes choclate, bro its just a phone chill
Not a fan of the argument "can't take advantage of the deals outside of the US for s10+". Harsh reality for Canadians is that the OP7 Pro will likely stay at $1000 whereas I've seen deals for new S10+ Exynos for around $750 shipped from Canada
Yeah, that whole argument for comparing retail prices doesn't make sense to me. You are free to shop around, and rn the S10 is the same price as teh OP
I bought a fully spec'd OnePlus 7 Pro for $750 USD and couldn't be happier. This phone feels like it's going to be relevant for years! So much future proofing here.
Sold my Galaxy S10+ for the OnePlus 7 Pro and it's better in almost every way. Once I saw a slew of videos for the OnePlus 7 Pro I immediately hated how old my S10+ felt I mean a $700 phone with a 90Hz Quad HD all screen display combined with the fastest storage on the market, amazing cameras (which imo came out better than my S10+ shots) and Warp Charge 30? It was a no brainier I sold my Galaxy for 800 and bought the best Nebula Blue OnePlus 7 Pro available online. I was a bit nervous but was so relieved after receiving it. When it comes to being a phone the OnePlus is just better. Samsung is still Samsung and has a lot of gimmicks. Reverse Charging? I'm not trying to drain my phone to charge my Gear S3 and I only use wireless headphones for music and audio. Wireless charging is slow and isn't necessary when the 7 Pro charges to 50% in under 20 minutes. The OnePlus 7 Pro is by far the best phone I've ever had and I even had the iPhone XS Max before my Galaxy S10+.
All 10 owner are gonna say the s10 is better. but the oneplus with google cam ported is a hell of a phone i can't go back to a 60hz display after using the op7pro its a beast
I really want to have oneplus 7 pro and i know it doesnt have aux and as card support or wifi 6 or gorilla glass 6 etc. But i want to know if it does have proper encrypted security system like samsung knox private files or alternative to Samsung pay?
Here's the thing, both of those phones are flagship devices it's just that, the S10+ is more of it, it should be called a flagship+ phone. The Galaxy S10+ still has the headphone jack, a more better cameras, wireless charging, powershare and an expandable micro sd card. In a conclusion, the oneplus 7 pro is not a bad phone- it has a amoled display, a larger screen, 90hrz refresh rate and a faster charging but it's not that enough to standout from the crowd as it's missing some features that a flagship phone should have. The 7 Pro is much of a great successor to the 6T but not it the competition against other smartphones. Just my thoughts guys no hate. 😅
My s10+ got an update that made the night mode way better. Also, it works with the ultra wide lens now. The live focus (portrait) has also been updated, now you can use it in two lenses, the main sensor and the telephoto.
I had the Samsung Galaxy for years and never used the wireless charging. I did use expandable memory but it was because it was only 64gb. I have wireless headphones and Bluetooth on my car (you can also buy and adaptor if you don't have Bluetooth in your car for like 25 buck). So I don't miss those features. The speed of my one plus pro is amazing. Videos look phenomenal. Screen to phone ratio is fantastic and battery is also great. Plus the quick charge suprised me on charging speed. Overall, for the value one plus is a great phone especially for college students like me or anyone who doesn't want to break the bank on single device lol.
Don't agree with you on software tho. One UI was made for one handed handle. With it's big screen. The OP7pro doesn't do that. And OneUi has a lot more features than OxygenOS. Useful features.
Does the one UI have screen off gestures? Cause that is one feature I use regularly on all of my oneplus devices. It also has a built in parallel apps manager and a builtin screen recorder with internal audio recording. These are features which I find very useful without being considered bloat.
It'll be fascinating to see a more indepth one ui video. Jaime, you claim Oxygen OS has a lot more useful touches, but it doesn't help how you literally follow it with an example One UI also has. I have a Oneplus 3 on my left hand and a S9+ on my right. All nav button option the Oneplus has the S9+ also has, with option to swipe up where the button would be instead of tabbing to save screen space. As for the longevity, my Oneplus 3 got official Pie update just weeks ago, and sure late is better than never, but in this case the Pie update has *further* feature loss than the Oreo one. Oreo took away the drop down menu shortcuts where long pressing the icon gives you a mini control menu instead of bringing you to the settings app, so that you wouldn't have to quit the app you're using to switch wifi network or use a bluetooth device. Pie update stripped the camera app down, to the point where it lost the HQ option which was prefered over having HDR on or without any enhancement due to the HQ mode preserves more details in the processing, and it even took away resolution control. Sure, the HDR option is left alone, but it was never that good, and GCAM is vastly superior. As a side not, I don't think being able to participate in a legit Beta, that is actually buggy and unsable is a valid point. On snappiness, while One UI does have *really* long and arduous animations baked in, not only does it offer an option to reduce the animation, an option to remove unlock animations when unlocked with biometrics, android itself has animation scale settings in dev options, and one to disable all animations outright. Had to use the last option to make One UI bearable for me switching from an Oneplus 3, but it is manageable.
OnePlus 7 Pro is a very Nice Top Smartphone but it‘s to Big and to heavy. I use the Phone over 6 weeks and now i use my Galaxy S10. OnePlus please make a smaler and lighter Flagship Smartphone!
Agree on the software. I’m ditching Samsung soon for OnePlus just because of the annoying Bixby software that pops up when you accidentally swipe the screen sometimes. I still have no idea which gesture causes it to pop up, but I will not be upgrading to the Note 10 to avoid Bixby.
I switched from my note 9 to the OP7 pro so I can't say I know the S10+. For me I hate how slow Samsung is with updates. I love oxygen OS. I also don't nitpick about photos. Almost every smartphone takes great pictures. The screen sold me. I didn't think 90hz was a huge deal. It's just smoother and the phone is just more fun to use. I really only miss my headphones jack.
How long had you previously been a note user ? Guessing note 9 was your first ? I can't see myself giving up the s pen. Especially just to have a 90hz screen.
solo yeah the one plus is a flag ship killer honestly once u get a taste of that 90 hrz screen u can’t go back lol for the price is the best phone out there when u buy apple and Samsung I pay an extra 200 just for the brand lol
Regarding price Galaxy s10+ now is around 720USD in saudi arabia S10 is the winner if you want almost perfect device. Oneplus 7 pro is a good choice if u don't depend on its cameras.
Come on dude it's like saying why pay £160 for a pair of Nike when you can by Reebok for £65 & they both serve the same purpose? It's also about the look, feel & quality of the product too.. Galaxy flagships are always released first (few months before others) so 1+pro & others are forced to release products/features which they would normally save for another year..
@@ferdav17 I agree Oneplus have really improved their software updates.. They went from poor on the Oneplus 2 to the Oneplus 3 getting Android Pie (which is unheard of for a 3 year old Non Google Android phone)
@@ferdav17 Yeah software updates may come late on S10 but if you have a Samsung TV then sharing files from phone is so much better. Samsung's UI is much nicer looking then any other.. I mean how much faster does one need their phone to navigate? Most important thing on a phone for me is the design, screen & security.
I'm more inclined towards the OnePlus 7 pro but when I started looking into all the other intangibles such as wireless charging and expendable memory I think Samsung has an upper hand.
If you prefer full features phone, like Superuser, go with S10 or Note series. If you prefer speed, go with one plus or pocophone. If you prefer simplicity, go with iphone..
Best product iam using one plus 7 pro from past 5 months no complaints so far , advantage with one plus devices they produce incremental updates fro every 2-3 months , so go with one plus , price perfect device
Disagree completely. It's a solid camera. Video quality could use an improvement (when compared to new iPhone) but I honestly can't tell the difference in photos between my 7 Pro and GFs iPhone X ... if you're big into photography (you probably wouldn't be using a phone) than yeah, you're probably right, but for the overwhelming majority it's definitely good enough.
I live in India and here with the exynos variant the camera software updates have been improving the picture quality exponentially, especially the low light stills with the new night mode
A week with OP7 Pro, since ditching my S10+, and I couldn't be happier! I love the screen, the snappiest phone I ever used period. Oxygen OS just works fast! I never used wireless charging because it is slow, Warp Charging from OP is awesome! Maybe some improvement from the camera processing on the OP and it will be the best phone of all time! But ah! there's a GCam port for OP, so no big deal.
Dear Jaime Rivera,Please stop providing wrong information to the viewers. The display on the Galaxy is 3k whereas the one on the Oneplus is 2k.Again the Galaxy comes with battery capacity 100mAh more than the OP7 pro.
Oneplus base variant has 6 GB. And S10+ has 8 GB RAM. I think you should compare the prices of these two models with same RAM and storage. That way it will be a fair comparison
OnePlus also have faster updates and a better community outreach through their app. They do a fantastic jib listening to their customers and implementation of the suggestion in the community. Samsung Plus or Members is just missing the mark.
@c__j_r nope but I had the s9, note 8, 5,4,3 and 2. I never doubt Samsung's quality but what I'm saying is that people should at least purchase the oneplus phone first before saying that s10+ is actually better (I'm not saying oneplus is better)

Most LGV40's are still stuck on Oreo...which is embarrassing when you consider that the Oneplus 3(released in 2016) got it before a phone released in 2018.
I wouldn't say software is an easy win for one plus imo. Samsungs one UI feels like a more comprehensive and complete experience. It's a joy to use unlike the bland but fast oxygen os
Totally agreed as i've used both and love the mods I can do with Goodlock and never had to root my S9+ for anything I need. While on the other hand you need root in Oos just to change fonts.
Imo Oxygen is better just because it's simplistic and quick. Samsung always felt very cluttered to the point that it was a bit uncomfortable to me, especially now with OneUI. Oxygen is a much cleaner OS. very similar to stock but with a couple of features that make it stand out nicely from the competition.
@@M2habibi neither skins are better than Nova Launcher though. I know the menus and such are still gonna be different, but as for features like gestures etc...it can't be beaten.

If you are a gamer OnePlus 7 Pro is the choice over S10+. You could force 90hz on OnePlus 7 Pro during gaming. 90HZ for PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile is the best of all phones nowadays. Ohh, it doesn't turn its screen dark during gaming versus to iPhone XS MAX or S10+. So OnePlus 7 Pro got my money. S10+ costs $1000 USD in the US which is where I live. How do u not realise the s10 plus price drops so much after a couple mo the whereas one plus doesn’t. You can get an s10 plus for same price as 7 pro!!!!!
I would usually prefer Oneplus, but Samsung’s One UI is really big step forward for Android platform. For the first time ever I prefer Samsung’s One UI over stock android feeling. Samsung did really good job there.
at this point, i don't think new android versions bring much change to justify the choice and i think that samsung already puts so many useful features on its UI that aren't present in stock android that it doesn't need an OS overhaul every year....
Can anyone give me an insight into the new Samsung OneUI please? I remember before that Samsung had some software lag which I didn't like on a flagship. Is the software lag still there? Thanks
Slightly conflicted because the price of the Galaxy s10 & s10+ has dropped drastically. I've found s10's in mint condition/open box for 580-700$. So if price wasn't an issue, whether because someones has 2 million dollars or they'd buy a slightly used s10, which would you choose?
Arjun Hari Then it is a better choice imo. If One plus was cheaper then it would have been a hard choice to make(except if u r a die hard fan of headphone jack). None the less, u can’t go wrong with any of these devices; both of them are brilliant in their own sense! Peace.

I can speak from personal experience as I've owned the Galaxy S10 plus and recently made the switch to the OnePlus 7pro. I'm currently watching this video with my OnePlus 7 Pro. I've had this phone for a good week and absolutely loved it! I've upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and I never looked back. Well worth the asking price if you ask me. Awesome video sir!

Oh that price difference...yeah it definitely wins.
how about the battery life when 90hz is always on? any updates today? is it still good battery?
S10+ isn't $1000 anymore. Please show the current prices.
they are huawei and chinese sponsored they will never do this
Its not about price ..its about software experience with fluent update .which normal and ordinary user will not understand ..go with lagy samsung with no updates on time...
It is still a thousand dollars. There are just promos out there ongoing right now
The OnePlus 7 Pro will sink in price too later, you have to compare them fairly, using for example the same spec counterpart. For the price comparison you have to do it fairly too, these are the prices both phones started at. When discussing which to buy right now, sure, you can talk about deals and newer prices. But for a review comparison like this, it isn’t that fair in my opinion.
@Fefo Fefosa who's buying it from the Samsung website...haven't they heard of Amazon?
Why didn't you mention about night mode on the S10? I have that on exynos version, and night photos are much better than before(after may update, which brought improvements to that mode, you can use that even on wide angle).

One plus 7 pro goes on sale November 19th for $549 in the US
Not a fan of the argument "can't take advantage of the deals outside of the US for s10+".
Bro, that 1080p on the Oneplus 7 Pro at 8:30 wiped the floor with the 4k on the Galaxy S10+
It's not a tough comparison, s10 is a miles better phone.
Thank you Jad, very cool
How did you get Google or now on the oxygen OS, I can't find out how you can do that
All 10 owner are gonna say the s10 is better. but the oneplus with google cam ported is a hell of a phone i can't go back to a 60hz display after using the op7pro its a beast
I think it's a personal preference. I'm not a fan of any phone over 6 inches. 6.67" is way too big for me!
If the One plus phones had a microSD card slot i would have considered it along side the s10+
I really want to have oneplus 7 pro and i know it doesnt have aux and as card support or wifi 6 or gorilla glass 6 etc. But i want to know if it does have proper encrypted security system like samsung knox private files or alternative to Samsung pay?
S10+ is way much better. I have used both, as well as the OP6. OP is good, yet not as premium as the Galaxy S10+
What makes the S10+ more premium

I honestly find the pop up camera and the true full screen display premium.

Well spoking couldn't have said it better
How can you say it's a flat slab? When the OnePlus has rounded edges. 😀👍
Huge rounded edged at that
My s10+ got an update that made the night mode way better. Also, it works with the ultra wide lens now. The live focus (portrait) has also been updated, now you can use it in two lenses, the main sensor and the telephoto.
Expandable memory, a headphone jack, wireless charging and Sprint compatibility makes me choose the S10+
Overall, for the value one plus is a great phone especially for college students like me or anyone who doesn't want to break the bank on single device lol.
kuyaglen id take the 90hz screen over all of the things you just summed up
You paid $300 more and hole punch and 60hz display for those features.
@@josephnevin Yes it has all of that + secure folder, clone apps...
Both phone are awesome. Coming from an S9 plus. I bought the OnePlus 7 pro and I don't regret it one bit.
@Cero Z lmao are you really telling him how to feel about a phone?

We can get some good contract deals on the Samsung Galaxy S10 with a lot of 4G data(especially since 5G has been released and will be on all carriers by the end of the year).
@@franklingoodwin very nice! Well if money is no object go for the OP7P. So crazy to think u can get a S10+ for cheaper but hey that's better for the consumers I'd imagine!! 🤷🏼♂️
Buy both, put one in left pocket and the other in right pocket, problem solved
