I bet he had the default screen protector that comes with the pro. I only realised when I found a scratch on it and realised a screen protector was on mine. Took it off and screen is amazing
The difference between portrait mode on the two phones is that the pro uses the telephoto lens, and on the 7 the 48 MP lens is used. The depth sensor is only a normal 5mp sensor, and doesn't sense depth by itself. Depth is determined by using the main and secondary sensor in conjunction to produce a stereo image to work out what is the foreground and what is the background. You can usually get decent phones for 300 to 400 but for people the brand name is important so most people get apple or Samsung when they don't use half the features.

Best review of OP 7...that i have seen before✌👌
Yes I agree
Your videos look so clean , and are really enjoyable. I joined over a year ago and was convinced to buy myself a OP6, i don't regret it !
I'm getting this phone tomorrow in that gorgeous nebula blue i can't wait
@ASBYT how's the haptic feedback on the regular op7 model? Is it the new vibration motor as the pro model?
no
Great review! This is making me want to switch from my iPhone 8. What do you think I should do?
Yes.
Definitely worth switching to One plus.
Great reviews, my 3T still perfect, I'm tempted to go for the 7 Pro as I like big phones my work phone is Samsung Note 8 and I like that size
Hi. What's your daily driver these days? You know somehow I'm still not entirely convinced with my Galaxy S9+'s selfie camera. appears bit washed out. Sharpness and contrast could be better. And the performance feels "sluggish" and buggy lately since latest update. Thoughts?
Did they fix the camera issues? I know the 7pros camera used to be worse than the 6t somehow. When zoomed in it was far noisier
I got the OnePlus 7 Pro on the day of release and i have to say it's the best phone i've ever used the all screen no notch 90hz display alone is worth the money and the lack of ip rating or wireless charging is no downside to me especially considering how fast wrap charing is. Anyone considering it as their next phone i highly doubt they'd be disappointed 👍
Tried it and returned it for a OP7.
if you bought the pro directly from OnePlus, it already came with a screen protector installed which is why it has so many scratches
Does the Oneplus 7 come with a pre installed screen protector or will I have to order one? Thanks
I have the 7 and yes it does come with screen protector pre-installed.
@@karanvijaysingh cool thanks for the reply
Still a top phone today, just bought one
Watching this on my One Plus 7.. Believe me its bang for ur buck😍❤️
How is battery backup?
@@venkyiyer4479 it's very good bro.. Will easily last about a day with heavy usage and 1.5 day on medium usage. I'm getting about 8 hrs of screen on time.
@@dhruviniyer474 thanks
Can you watch a 4k and 1440p60 HDR UA-cam video on the op7 pro?
@@azahgdluck8737 only 1440p 60 HDR. Not 4k
Would you mind sharing the name of the wallpaper and where to get it?
Stock oneplus wallpaper
I'm getting about 7-8hrs on my OP7 pro easily on max settings.
Same here. I usually use it at night and regularly get 10 hours screen time on one charge. I'm so in love with this phone!
Should I wait for the 5G models? I won't be changing a phone in the next 2 years. will I regret picking a non-5g phone now?
do you have to turn on the screen before unlocking it with your fingerprint?
I always love your reviews you always make me laugh, much love 👏👏🌠🌠🌠😉👍👍💯
I'm waiting for my alomd to ship out. Replacing my Thunder Purple 6T. From what I've seen in the community app, they are definitely asking the right questions and that wife angle video has been approved and is. Urrently being worked out so yup. Can't wait to get mine in.

We'll I've got the 6 so I'ma pass on the 7pro and will get the next gen probably. If there's no other better option.
As a Oneplus 6 user, I'm still wondering weather to upgrade to OP7 or 7 pro, although still enjoying my OP6 because is the fasted phone I have ever used
A great and honest review of both models. I like the piece of advice at the end "should you buy".
I still feel they are expensive even more so considering that in the existing market you can get a 300 USD phone that will do most of the job. I very much like the 7 pro though and wish I had the cash.
You can usually get decent phones for 300 to 400 but for people the brand name is important so most people get apple or Samsung when they don't use half the features.
sometimes i feel 20k more for 7 pro doesnt make sense
Love u man, That's a real neutral review being not paid by companies
Sand kills your screen. Glass is made from sand. makes sence right?
I've had my Pro for 2 weeks and loving it 😊
What are the best features in your opinion? And what kinda phone did you had before? Keep up the great work ASBYT.
@@merwinpique best features is the screen for sure it's amazing and the dual speakers are lush. I had a OnePlus 5.
@@merwinpique I've had my OnePlus 7 pro for almost 2 weeks. I had a Samsung Galaxy S9+ before it. It was a very good phone but I needed a dual sim phone so I got the Op7pro. The things I like about the Op7pro is, of course, the dual sim, the screen is brilliant and smooth, the phone is very fast, the battery lasts me on average a bit more than a whole day with over 7 hours of SOT, the warp charging, and finally the phone just looks so good! I hope that helps.
@@merwinpique do you have a screen protector on yours? I am looking for a good one
@@joshdavis2836 I (sadly) don't have the phone bro. I have a S10.
Video watched on my OnePlus 7
I like the more widescreen look of this video. But please be consequent and render it in that aspect ratio and not in standard 16:9. Now I have a black border everywhere on my 21:9 monitor..
Otherwise good video!
Thank you for this amazing review. I truly appreciate your time.
Hey ASBYT, so no one is talking water resistance of Oneplus 7 . So is it as good as oneplus 7 pro when it comes to water resistance, or do they differ ?
what calibration mode are you using?vivid, natural or the advance option.
Watching on my Dell Latitude E6330.
