It's also heavier than the 10 plus. 7 pro has no wireless charging or headphone jack. One plus is subjectively faster. You decide.
@@dr.gamerr Samsung has THE BEST cameras. There's your answer. OnePlus One 7 pro with 12gb ram is good for PSP, PS2, wii and gamecube emulation if you're into that kind of thing. All other games and apps will perfectly run on any new phone, but cameras - Samsung and Iphone are the top! But OnePlus is not terrible, but not as awesome as Samsung, because apart from hardware - software (camera app) also is very important!

Some people use their mobile phones more than using their PC (since they wont need a PC at home for gaming or document processing?), so upgrading to a better phone is more a high piority thing for them compared to upgrading to a PC. Btw in a near future this will be more common since most people back home just want to see netflix and chill on their mobile devices/tv.
Also, a new haptic engine and Dolby atmos supported stereo speakers. Along with the huge 48 MP camera. Its really in between the 6T and 7 pro. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be...

It's screen break if you drop, because of its curved display. It's beautiful but will look ugly as soon as you drop it. I saw the drop test of this phone..it broke in one drop.

Jan Wesdijk it's not waterproof. It's just water resistant with rubber seals. Once the rubber seals lose its tightness there will be water ingress eventually. You are absolutely right, water with electronics are just taking risks
Don't think there's any need. The 90hz display is quite the battery drainer but yeah, it's still passable. It's not like you'll run out of battery in 2-3 hours. You'll probably get half a day with moderate usage. Under heavy, probably a bit less.

I just watched this video at a T-Mobile store on the OnePlus 7 Pro. Phone is SICK!!!! The display is absolutely gorgeous and the surround sound speakers are superb. Will definitely purchase One soon.
Arguably the best phone of the year is the Asus ZenFone 6, and that's mainly because where I live, it's way more easy to get an Asus phone then a OnePlus phone. I really like the OnePlus 7 Pro, it's just...more or less unavailable.
Oneplus has really done a lot of amazing work with this one... They really pulled off very well with this... And yeah, knowing more about the 7 would be great too... Plus... Dope video man, as always 👍👌

Nobody refers to 700 as budget. OnePlus seven pro is one of the best phones this year so for it to not be over 1,000 is relatively cheap to competition. Budget phones are 200 - 500
Let's go back to 2014 iPhone 6 -> $650 (16 GB base model) OnePlus 1 -> $300 (16 GB base model) $350 dollars less. 2019 iPhone XS -> $1000 (64 GB base model) OnePlus 7 Pro -> $670 (128 GB base model) $330 dollars less, but with double the internal storage. It's basically the same thing.
I think it all comes down to payment options. That has changed the game. Used to be you'd pay like $199 and get a new phone and use it for a 2 year contract. But you then had to give up the phone at the end in order to get the upgrade. But now you do pay for the whole phone, but you keep it when you're done. Pretty much everyone can afford $30 - $40 per month. I prefer that option. Cause now I have a fully functioning back up phone as well as my daily use phone.

Like many others have said, I'd love to see a full review of Zenfone 6 as well. I know you'll miss the AMOLED panel, but everything else about the phone seems super VFM.

I got the 6T recently as well and the only thing I'm curious about is the 90hz screen. Everything else is kind eh to me. Other than that, I love the 8gb RAM I have and I always get questions about what phone I have. Don't feel bad about owning a 6T. Still a great phone.
Other things to note, if you are using the phone with any carrier in the US besides T-Mobile, certain features are not available out of the box. One of the big ones for me was WiFi Calling. When you work in an area where the office gets little to no reception, WiFi Calling is super important. Also if youre not getting text messages, call your carrier and have them fix it. Other than that, its an amazing phone.

Guys, are you aware Vodafone is from Racall which is a British Military Communications business? Google it. All these communications companies have local defence contracts. That's nothing knew. Intel can't even make a CPU that isn't hackabke these days. Huawei even spent 2 billion in an open center for any government that wants to inspect it's products. So far no backdoors on Huawei. How many dirty holes in Cisco, Netgear, Intel, Chrome, Adobe, Facebook, WhatsApp?
It probably doesn't utilize the OP7pro sensor to it's potential because it is so different, I think it would be much more complicated to make a Gcam mod for this because it would take more than just to make the apk stable on the operating system. According to Dxomark Oneplus is going to release camera firmware for the oneplus 7 pro that drastically improves the camera, so I would count on that instead.
That retracting camera is a pretty good idea in the event of a fall. And really, you would have to drop the phone while actually using the camera and that's when most of us are already holding it pretty securely anyway. Not that it doesn't happen, but I guess the chances of it falling on the camera itself are mitigated quite a bit between the self retraction, and the fact that it would had to have been out in the first place. I would guess that camera breakage is on the rare side with this song.
I had my OnePlus 6 accidentally take an ocean dip, for a while. I checked under the sim tray and it was perfectly fine. Don't stress too hard about getting those things wet.
I'd like to see the Zenfone 6 video first, a lot of hype on android social medias and relatively little media coverage. Pixels and Oneplus get enough videos.

both and i think it's personal preference. I think the s10 has a much nicer screen but the 7 pro has a nice screen too and it scrolls faster.the s10 is built better and has more features.some apps download quicker but not by a lot my 7pro lags a little bit in the home screen but nothing to worry about an update will fix that if it's happening to all 7pros.i like the s10 more but that's me.good luck with your choice

It is well worth the extra $100 more than the Zen Fone plus it has better features and a way better track record for updates. Buy the Zen Fone I bet you regret. I have not owned one but I have owned 3 One Plus units since the original and will buy the 7 Pro
I'm curious if the better display of the OP is relevant in daily use, and if it is really worth for the worse battery life in comparison to the zenfone 6. Also I'm not sure about those very round and long edges on the OP.

I waited. But I admit I nearly bought the 6T but I'm really glad I held off. I'm really liking this 7 Pro.
I got the 6T recently as well and the only thing I'm curious about is the 90hz screen. Everything else is kind eh to me. Other than that, I love the 8gb RAM I have and I always get questions about what phone I have. Don't feel bad about owning a 6T. Still a great phone.

Nebula Blue is the most beautiful color I've seen on any smartphone. This is one of the reasons i want to get this phone. ❤️
Other things to note, if you are using the phone with any carrier in the US besides T-Mobile, certain features are not available out of the box. One of the big ones for me was WiFi Calling. When you work in an area where the office gets little to no reception, WiFi Calling is super important. Also if youre not getting text messages, call your carrier and have them fix it. Other than that, its an amazing phone.

Huawei will never have Android again, so unless you live in Asia, it's probably not worth it anymore
If you want to buy it, buy it now. Any future Huawei phones will not have Android system or access to Google App Store.

Gcam version 6.1 by arnova works on oneplus 7 pro.
It probably doesn't utilize the OP7pro sensor to it's potential because it is so different, I think it would be much more complicated to make a Gcam mod for this because it would take more than just to make the apk stable on the operating system. According to Dxomark Oneplus is going to release camera firmware for the oneplus 7 pro that drastically improves the camera, so I would count on that instead.

That retracting camera is a pretty good idea in the event of a fall. And really, you would have to drop the phone while actually using the camera and that's when most of us are already holding it pretty securely anyway. Not that it doesn't happen, but I guess the chances of it falling on the camera itself are mitigated quite a bit between the self retraction, and the fact that it would had to have been out in the first place. I would guess that camera breakage is on the rare side with this song.
I had my OnePlus 6 accidentally take an ocean dip, for a while. I checked under the sim tray and it was perfectly fine.
Don't stress too hard about getting those things wet.
I'd like to see the Zenfone 6 video first, a lot of hype on android social medias and relatively little media coverage. Pixels and Oneplus get enough videos.
Zenfone checks a lot of boxes, but I'm worried about updates and support from Asus.
