I figured that is what I am so displeased with this year. I have been looking at other review where folks loved this stuff, and the only thing it can be is the rye. I just want the beer called Bourbon County to focus on Bourbon aging. This is the first year I have ever bought their stuff and feel like I wasted money. I watched your reviews, I thought they were great, but my palate is just not made for Rye, well, maybe next year. Cheers and Happy Holidays.
I've been into craft beer for approximately 15 years and have been following various craft beer reviewers on UA-cam over that whole time and still follow several of them, to this day. I've learned that I do not have the same preferences as all of them but I do appreciate their insight and can translate that into how I would like the same beer. In regards to you, I'm sensing we have very similar preferences, or at least when it comes to the Bourbon County Stout series. I guess I have some catching up to do, while on Christmas break. I will go back through your other videos for beer I have tried and beer I wish to try. Cheers, and many thanks for the reviews and insight!
@@byrnez2755 Glad you’re enjoying the channel, welcome. I have more BCBS video coming in the near future as well. All older variants, thank being said, I agree, I like seeing the different reactions to the beers that people review, sometimes, I agree sometimes not, but I always like knowing how other people perceive the beers I am drinking. Thanks for watching and the comment, cheers.
i wonder the production levels between 2022.and 2024, maybe they upped production and quality slipped, maybe they cheaped out on some ingredients? curious because ive enjoyed bourbon county stouts in the past.
I just don’t know, I think it’s all possible, but whatever it is, this is the first year I feel like the money was not well spent. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers.
Great hearing your thoughts. Mine are going up this Sunday. All I'll say is that we disagree about rye haha. Cheers!

I've found some. Haven't tried any yet. Might age what I have at least 6 months
I would wait. I have had two, and they need time to mellow. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers.
