That is possible. But why Mt. Silver? There is a time gap between the first & second gen; so who knows where Red traveled in that time. He may have even completed the Johto Dex before traveling to where he meets Gold.

In the Anime, he explains that his daughter was really powerful, and when he was teaching her, she quickly became more powerful than him, and he lost control over her. Sabrina gained her powers through genetics from her father.

well I've never read the manga but in the show it says Sabrina was born with psychic powers which is confirmed when we find out that her father is also a talented psychic so this theory is debunked, but you did bring up an interesting point. She was clearly depicted in the anime as being the kids show version of a homicidal maniac and was responsible for what most police would consider the murder or kidnapping of her mother, so how did she become a gym leader? I think this theory should have been did Giovanni pull some strings to make her a gym leader as opposed to did he give her psychic powers...that would explain why she did nothing during the rocket take over as she would have owed Giovanni her freedom and livelihood and it doesn't directly conflict with the anime.

I still you should do tackle the problem of gender ratio in certain pokemon species. How can a species exist if the ratio from male to female is 7 to 1 or if it's a single gender species?! Sure pokemon can breed with any pokemon within their egg group so finding a "love one" is not an issue. The issue is the offspring is only determined by what the female is...and there's not THAT many dittos in the world. Maybe females of 7 to 1 ratio pokemon like Eevee and the starter pokemon create polyandry societies in order to preserve the species?
Remember, Pokemon are a single species that has multiple metamorphoses. Egg groups could be an example of sub-species. Remember; Pokemon are not contemporary animals. They are mutants from space. They don't fall in line with biology we are familiar with.
Hey Proto I got two theories for you. First one, I saw your theory on if trainers have sex with their pokemon, as well as the pokemon to humans in another. There is a egg group known as human-like. Which brings up this thought, could some pokemon breed with humans? And the other theory is, could a pokemon become a pokemon trainer?
I'm not proto but I have an idea about your second question. I don't see why Pokémon couldn't be Pokémon trainers. The real question is how would you define being a trainer? Would they have to compete in gyms? Would they have to keep their Pokémon in poke balls or would it be a situation like Ash's Pikachu? Either way I like the idea.
Still something I bet a lot of us had thought at least once. And funniest aside, anyone remember the theory of N being a Zoroark? (don't know if it will be used for the poke-trainer theory?) And what if she goes behind him and pays his debts for food and other goods? We never see him with prize money, but he is able to buy things? I theorize that Ash's mother is also a journey following her son so she doesn't lose him like she may have with his father. Reply with your thoughts.

Jesse, James, and Meowth aren't Ash's enemies specifically. Ash just constantly gets in their way. As for saving Ash, I think it's because it's Ash's coma dream. If you don't believe the coma theory, then I would say it's because they aren't entirely inhumane and are saving a child from getting in over his head.
Anthony Shand I think they are more like frenemies to Ash. I mean, think about it, they know Ash since he started his journey as a Pokemon trainer. Along with Pikachu that makes them his constant companions since they meet eachother almost on a daily basis. Yes, they keep trying to catch Pikachu but ironically this often leads to getting his Pokemon stronger or more confident. Even so they probably don't intend to help him to become a better trainer, they help him nonetheless. Thus they play a pretty important role in his life. And I actually enjoy seeing them and Ash working together from time to time :3

Hey Proto, i was wondering why do some Pokemon have no evolutions or the Pokemon look like it could be the evolution of a Pokemon? like for example Bouffalant looks like the evolutionary form of Tauros or Seviper looks like it could evolve from Arbok. I never figured out why but maybe you could.
To expand on your theory; I feel like her upgraded sprite from HGSS, her snazzy new bracelets in particular, are a device that allows her to channel and process her untamed psychic prowess. But who dawned these bracelets on Sabrina? With Giavonni defeated and Team Rocket becoming a splinter cell organization, also Cinnabar island is now razed to the ground including whatever traces of a lab that Blaine had. Maybe a gifted and powerful Zoroark named N met Sabrina and gave her this gift? Maybe Sabrina was somehow found out with her affiliation to team rocket and the elite 4 decided she was to op and gave her the handicapping bracelets? Maybe she went to the Kalos region to find Mega Evolution, but instead found Zygard(???) in a cave, and Sabrina discovers Zygard's true potential. Zygard acknowledged Sabrina as intellectual equals, but created the bracelets as a way to calm the crazy storm inside her head.... And now Sabrina is a normal gym leader.

In the Manga, the Elite Four is an entirely evil organization. It isn't part of the Pokemon League. So it's completely unlike the canon of the games. So Team Rocket was under their control.

The arc is largely one of man vs. nature, with the inner irony that the Pokemon actually want man to win and ultimately the E4 represent their own despicable human urges. Besides that, Lance was the only one really driven by these evil intention to wipe out all humanity. Bruno just wants to get stronger, Agatha, wants revenge on Oak, and Lorelei doesn't seem to have any sort of personality that I can remember other than having insanely overpowered abilities.

Proto, I trust your judgement (and by that I obviously mean your theories), and you did give some good points, but I choose to believe that Sabrina got her psychic powers legitimately and without help from Giovanni. She could simply have had a whip because her power made her insane, and she could also have not done anything about Team Rocket because she was too busy brushing the hair of her crazy doll.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Connections, what connections? Your relying on information based on different interpretations of the character (which have little to nothing to do with each other) and then making stuff up. Here are some real facts: 1) In the games Team Rocket are gangsters and Giovanni is pretty much a mob boss, he's got no desire to rule the world (its pretty much spelled out in Origins). He's also got NOTHING to do with Mewtwo's creation, other media link Mewtwo to Team Rocket because they want them to look threatening. 2) In the Adventures/Special manga Sabrina joined Team Rocket along with Surge and Koga because they were dissatisfied with their standing in Pokemon League and wanted more power. 3) Sabrina herself says she's has had psychic powers since she was a child, meaning she was born with them. She also says she doesn't like fighting which is probably why she didn't deal with Team Rocket herself. "I had a vision of your arrival! I have had psychic powers since I was a little child. I first leaned to bend spoons with my mind. I dislike fighting, but if you wish, I will show you my powers!" 4) The Pokemon Adventures/Special manga is based on the games not the other way around. Also the fact you brought in the Elite 4 at the end pretty much proves your full of it.

Giovanni tried to make a human Mewtwo? He's messing with life! Also, why wouldn't he keep the psychic powers for himself? Speaking of which, Mewtwo DLC is good, except for no custom moves. He's got some unfairish combos and powerful moves, but I don't like the side B, it just doesn't feel right. It's like a more terrible version of Lucario's side B, but it doesn't do damage (at least to objects like sandbags). I do like that last alt colour though... evil Mewtwo, muhahaha! In the anime, Sabrina got her powers from her family because they are like family of psychics and Sabrina just inherited that psychic powers from them, the only problem is, her powers got stronger than her parents's power for some unknown reason.

I guess the character designers intended to make Sabrina evil (it really shows in early concept art) but the idea was scrapped and she's portrayed as an "intimidating but misunderstood" figure in the games. The manga obviously exaggerates this and make her work for Giovanni as a result. Then there's also the issue about her carrying a whip, since in Gen I trainers with whips are either elitist douchebags or outright evil (Cooltrainers, Tamers, Rocket Grunts...) Also Psychic-type is the strongest in Gen I so it adds up to the menacing impression she carries with her. Plus, she did jack shit regarding Saffron City's situation despite having the type advantage and being a Gym Leader.
Hi ProtoMario! I have a question that might become a theory idk. It's about Mewtwo and how they were created as their own individual. Ik that Mewtwo is a clone of Mew and all. But I'm just curious about Mewtwo regardless of the various backgrounds it has. I mean, is Mewtwo supposed to be the same gender as Mew because it's Mew clone? Is it the opposite gender (reference from the Pokemon Mansion Journals in FireRed and LeafGreen)? And if Mewtwo was created by ONE scientist (according to the Pokedex entries), then why are there MULTIPLE scientists for both the OS version and the BW version. I've tried looking up the basic summary of different types of cloning in order for Mewtwo to exist in the Pokemon franchise and...got nowhere. (Anything that has to do with complex mathematics, science and technology is not my strong suit.) If you could at least attempt to explain this so other people with the same question can understand how Mewtwo actually came to existence (not that ik anyone else who's in this situation) it would be greatly appreciated! Here is what's wrong with this 1. A Channeler (Japanese: きとうし Shaman) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that have only appeared in the Generation I games and their remakes. They are generally depicted as Shinto priestesses. They scared people away from Pokémon Tower and were possibly unwittingly helping Team Rocket make their base in the tower. Their strange behavior when challenging the player and their subsequent reaction after being defeated seems to imply that they were possessed by the ghosts they used while battling. In fact, some Channelers apologize after battle, saying "I was possessed!" when spoken to. 2. The Channelers in the Saffron Gym are not possessed by ghosts. Which means the Channelers in the gym are normal Trains who just happen to specialize in Ghost-Type Pokemon.
Cragie goad It could be possible that since Silver was taken away so young by Mask of Ice that they didn't have the chance. Though Giovanni seems to care about Silver so he could have not wanted to risk his son. But than again he was the only one conscience of what was happening when he and the others were stone. So maybe he is a little? At least that my speculation. He is rather intutive.
Is the Saffron City Gym possibly a mental facility built to study these psychic trainers, and keep the "nutcases" we'll say under wraps? After all if a bunch of crazies ran outside and started spouting nonsense at people or worse and they found out they game from the Gym, would people question that and possibly cause Giovanni problems?
This is a good theory but I think the children already showed signs of psychic abilities as children and thats why team rocket too them and forcibly amplified those psychics abilities somehow similar to mewtwo I guess. If un look at the entire worldbof pokemon there are other psychics who are sane but are no where near serenea gym.
Why do certain Pokemon rangers use a pokeball on a rope when it's clearly shown that when the Pokemon is caught you can just walk up and get it? Is it possible they were trying to come up with a way to not lose pokeballs when a Pokemon escapes the ball?

Pokémon theorie: cerulean vermillion were switched accidentally. Vermillion has the electric gym, and has a yellow color, but is near the water. Cerulean is the opposite. It has the water gym, and is blue, but is near the power plant. An I on to something?

I'm not proto but I have an idea about your second question. I don't see why Pokémon couldn't be Pokémon trainers. The real question is how would you define being a trainer? Would they have to compete in gyms? Would they have to keep their Pokémon in poke balls or would it be a situation like Ash's Pikachu? Either way I like the idea.

Jesse, James, and Meowth aren't Ash's enemies specifically. Ash just constantly gets in their way. As for saving Ash, I think it's because it's Ash's coma dream. If you don't believe the coma theory, then I would say it's because they aren't entirely inhumane and are saving a child from getting in over his head.
Anthony Shand I think they are more like frenemies to Ash. I mean, think about it, they know Ash since he started his journey as a Pokemon trainer. Along with Pikachu that makes them his constant companions since they meet eachother almost on a daily basis. Yes, they keep trying to catch Pikachu but ironically this often leads to getting his Pokemon stronger or more confident. Even so they probably don't intend to help him to become a better trainer, they help him nonetheless. Thus they play a pretty important role in his life. And I actually enjoy seeing them and Ash working together from time to time :3

In the Manga, the Elite Four is an entirely evil organization. It isn't part of the Pokemon League. So it's completely unlike the canon of the games.

The arc is largely one of man vs. nature, with the inner irony that the Pokemon actually want man to win and ultimately the E4 represent their own despicable human urges. Besides that, Lance was the only one really driven by these evil intention to wipe out all humanity. Bruno just wants to get stronger, Agatha, wants revenge on Oak, and Lorelei doesn't seem to have any sort of personality that I can remember other than having insanely overpowered abilities.

She could simply have had a whip because her power made her insane, and she could also have not done anything about Team Rocket because she was too busy brushing the hair of her crazy doll.

That was amazing Proto but, I wish you would of touched on the doll she holds in the anime. For I believe that the doll is were her child like innocent was left with after the harsh abusive experiments. But all in all another excellent theory. Also tho I would like to talk with you,if we could.
This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Connections, what connections? Your relying on information based on different interpretations of the character (which have little to nothing to do with each other) and then making stuff up.
Here are some real facts:
1) In the games Team Rocket are gangsters and Giovanni is pretty much a mob boss, he's got no desire to rule the world (its pretty much spelled out in Origins). He's also got NOTHING to do with Mewtwo's creation, other media link Mewtwo to Team Rocket because they want them to look threatening.
2) In the Adventures/Special manga Sabrina joined Team Rocket along with Surge and Koga because they were dissatisfied with their standing in Pokemon League and wanted more power.
3) Sabrina herself says she's has had psychic powers since she was a child, meaning she was born with them. She also says she doesn't like fighting which is probably why she didn't deal with Team Rocket herself. "I had a vision of your arrival! I have had psychic powers since I was a little child. I first leaned to bend spoons with my mind. I dislike fighting, but if you wish, I will show you my powers!"
4) The Pokemon Adventures/Special manga is based on the games not the other way around.
Also the fact you brought in the Elite 4 at the end pretty much proves your full of it.

Giovanni tried to make a human Mewtwo? He's messing with life! Also, why wouldn't he keep the psychic powers for himself? Speaking of which, Mewtwo DLC is good, except for no custom moves. He's got some unfairish combos and powerful moves, but I don't like the side B, it just doesn't feel right. It's like a more terrible version of Lucario's side B, but it doesn't do damage (at least to objects like sandbags). I do like that last alt colour though... evil Mewtwo, muhahaha! Call it Sabrina and theory solved!

In the anime, Sabrina got her powers from her family because they are like family of psychics and Sabrina just inherited that psychic powers from them, the only problem is, her powers got stronger than her parents's power for some unknown reason.

there's an circus episode in the anime, season 1. with a girl who holds and uses a whip. feels a little far-fetched that everyone who has a whip would be a team rocket member.

I guess the character designers intended to make Sabrina evil (it really shows in early concept art) but the idea was scrapped and she's portrayed as an "intimidating but misunderstood" figure in the games. The manga obviously exaggerates this and make her work for Giovanni as a result.
Then there's also the issue about her carrying a whip, since in Gen I trainers with whips are either elitist douchebags or outright evil (Cooltrainers, Tamers, Rocket Grunts...)
Also Psychic-type is the strongest in Gen I so it adds up to the menacing impression she carries with her.
Plus, she did jack shit regarding Saffron City's situation despite having the type advantage and being a Gym Leader.
Hi ProtoMario! I have a question that might become a theory idk. It's about Mewtwo and how they were created as their own individual. Ik that Mewtwo is a clone of Mew and all. But I'm just curious about Mewtwo regardless of the various backgrounds it has. I mean, is Mewtwo supposed to be the same gender as Mew because it's Mew clone? Is it the opposite gender (reference from the Pokemon Mansion Journals in FireRed and LeafGreen)? And if Mewtwo was created by ONE scientist (according to the Pokedex entries), then why are there MULTIPLE scientists for both the OS version and the BW version. I've tried looking up the basic summary of different types of cloning in order for Mewtwo to exist in the Pokemon franchise and...got nowhere. (Anything that has to do with complex mathematics, science and technology is not my strong suit.) If you could at least attempt to explain this so other people with the same question can understand how Mewtwo actually came to existence (not that ik anyone else who's in this situation) it would be greatly appreciated! Here is what's wrong with this 1. A Channeler (Japanese: きとうし Shaman) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that have only appeared in the Generation I games and their remakes. They are generally depicted as Shinto priestesses. They scared people away from Pokémon Tower and were possibly unwittingly helping Team Rocket make their base in the tower. Their strange behavior when challenging the player and their subsequent reaction after being defeated seems to imply that they were possessed by the ghosts they used while battling. In fact, some Channelers apologize after battle, saying "I was possessed!" when spoken to. 2. The Channelers in the Saffron Gym are not possessed by ghosts. Which means the Channelers in the gym are normal Trains who just happen to specialize in Ghost-Type Pokemon.

Though Giovanni seems to care about Silver so he could have not wanted to risk his son. But than again he was the only one conscience of what was happening when he and the others were stone. Why do certain Pokemon rangers use a pokeball on a rope when it's clearly shown that when the Pokemon is caught you can just walk up and get it? Is it possible they were trying to come up with a way to not lose pokeballs when a Pokemon escapes the ball?

Pokémon theorie: cerulean vermillion were switched accidentally. Vermillion has the electric gym, and has a yellow color, but is near the water. Cerulean is the opposite. It has the water gym, and is blue, but is near the power plant. An I on to something?
