It's just your perception because music is constantly evolving, you're just seeing it through the eyes of your formative years. It's pretty natural for that to happen.

Marc doesn't resolve that question, leaves it open - profound for a rock n roll song, bordering on poetry

I loved him when he first began and have listened to his albums-CD's and now thanks to UA-cam I listen to him a lot. Such a tragedy when he died. I saw him live in Victoria BC

Discovered T.Rex from watching one of my all time favorite movies, Billy Eliot. The songs are timeless and cannot even compare to today's rock music. Sad Marc died so young! Exactly 5 years before I was born to the day.
