When #SoutheasternDivision Officers Uch and Quinn arrived at an apartment in Valencia Park, they expected to tackle a burglary but instead found a vandalized window and an elderly community member in need. Though the academy never covered culinary arts, Officer Quinn quickly traded his badge and gun for a whisk and chef's hat, cooking up a comforting "breakfast for dinner" for our resident who hadn't eaten yet.
With no burglars to apprehend, they dished out safety and a side of toast instead! At SDPD, we're about more than just patrols; we’re here to extend a helping hand-or in this case, a full meal! This blend of service and unexpected skills is what truly strengthens our community bonds.
