If you're running ONE's for surrounds, the Playbar (plus Sub) is more than sufficient. But if you DO NOT want separate surrounds, the Arc is the best option...for movies. But music tracks (MP3@384k, FLAC, WAVE, & HD) sound the same on either speaker.
For some reason i did not like the Arc, The Playbar has better clarity the sound is very crisp and clear, Am running 2 Play 5s and 2 Subs and i could not be more happier with the sound😁
Excellent video. Thank you. I was thinking about upgrading but since my TV is an older Plasma that still works perfectly and is not capable of Dolby Atmos, it makes no sense for me to update. Presently using Soundbar and Sub and it’s working beautifully.
Just got a Playbar from my friend, bought two gen 2 Sonos 1sl, and a gen 2 sub. Do you recommend me getting the optical to HDMI? Currently I am just running the optical? The converter is only $20 so I don’t mind getting it, just wondering if there is a benefit! Thanks, love your reviews as a new Sonos buyer!
Hello I was looking at some of your thermostat videos and had a question. I bough a wyze thermostat and the c wire adapter. I have 2 wires right now red and white. Where would they go now that I have a c wire adapter

Thank you sir. Own the playbar and sub and love the sound. Didn't want to have to upgrade if there wasn't a big improvement.
Playbar not only sounds better in this test, it does so standing upside down, speakers half (mis)firing into the table!

Playbar has a warm sound to my ear. Arc sounds tingy to me
I really enjoy my playbar, and my Arc..However the Arc is just better in always, especially when coupled with a sub gen 3
Same. I like the PlayBar by far both esthetically and sound quality.

Same here. My playbar, w/ a sub, & multiple play 1’s sound amazing. Ive heard the S2 app sucks too
S2 app is finicky, but it works.
hi nice review.....love Sonos....have the ARC / 2 subs / pair of ONE SL's...the sound is awesome...cheers from Canada be safe
Does the arc utilize Dolby for songs that have Dolby as well?

No real benefit for your setup.
I agree,save your money
My TV dose not have Optical Audio, what eARC adapters are good with Sonos?
I just bought the arc gonna test it out against the playbar
Which one did you like better?
Lol, love that you told us you were getting it, but neglected to come back and say how it went
What's the verdict?! 😭

Sonos Playbar 😍😍
In my opinion, the Playbar is better by far. The arc is all highs.
I hear it the same way
I agree
My sound bar and gen 2 sub was wayyy better than arc & gen 3 sub 😭😭
You mean Playbar better than Arc?
They sound the same 🤣
