Yes I agree the Sony sound bars are amazing, HT something or other, but they cost an arm and a leg. I hear that dragon sound bar with the Japanese name is the best out of the best. At that price you may as well invest in amplifiers and real speakers.

Good afternoon I have watched several UA-cam videos on trying to find the right sound bar for my home. So would you say the LG sound bar is much better than a Bose sound bar price tag I am just trying to find a good sound bar for under 2000 thank you
The JBL 1300 would be sufficient for me right now!

Recently finished basement, calling the main room a great room, bar, pool table, dart board aisle, TV area, and more; it’s 18’ X 35’ total. We did dryfall paint floor joist in this room vs all the other rooms being Rockwool Safe & Sound on the ceiling and interior walls w/ drywall. Put a 83” Bravia A80L on the TV sections wall.
Next up is a sound bar; want a nice theater sound while watching movies but also want a nice music add for the whole 18’ X 35’ space.

Yes I tested it yesterday, Mu So 2gen is very good both music and as sound bar for movie.
If you have the 3.55mm audio jack connected it won't let you select bluetooth. I use it for the TV in my bedroom but I can't flick over to Spotify without unplugging the audio jack first. Major fail.

Sound is personally subjective. Bose brand will provide best overall value. Room density, configuration etc, will dictate what is preferred. Test your options in a environment that resembles your room.

Why the Samsung HW-Q700B (2022 )? Is it better than the HW-Q700C (2023) or HW-Q800C ? Where is the HW-Q990C the current competitor of LG S95QR / Bose 900 and Sony HT-A7000 ??? I’m perplexed… 🫤
This is a budget safe list but if you want to spend serious money on a home theater system. The Samsung HW-Q990C blows the #1 LG S95QR out of the water and the rest of this list. The Bose 900 would be close if you get the complete setup (subwoofer and rear speakers). I'm surprise the Bose 900 is #4 on this list below the LG s95QR.

I got rid of my 990c was not good enough with the bass or surrond sound, thinking about the lg s95 all bc of the new software update. Where it allows you to control the side speaker to sync.

Based on reviews, which I am sure is accurate, I ordered the Q990C. I regret doing so. Not because of the product. I can't comment on the product. Because Samsung has not delivered. And are now playing games on delivery. On three occasions they have told me to wait home for it. I have been told it can't be left with the building security guard. Each time it does not come. Each time I reach out they say they are looking into it and to wait another 48 hours. They won't cancel and refund unless i provide information that is not available without a trip to the bank. What is it like when there is a problem with one of their products? If you can't buy it off a shelf somewhere you may regret your purchase as I am. The purchasing and support experience is part of a system as well.

Sony HT-A7000 is the best sound bar I’ve ever owned, when paired with a Sony oled, SW5 sub, and RS5 surround backs… and I’ve bought over a dozen in the past 10 years. I just sold my Sonos after the Sony setup is clearly better.
It's all up to individual preference and hearing. I owned the A7000 for all of 1 day and returned it. No matter how I adjusted it, it sounded like crap (tinny, no midrange, awful bass). I have a Samsung now and the difference is night and day.
@@Mr21scott you must not have a Sony Bravia oled to help the center channel, and you probably didn’t buy the RS5 surrounds or SW5 sub. IMHO for the system to really be hands above the rest, you need at least the TV.
@@warpathh I had the brand-new (at the time) SW5 and the rears. That sound bar is a piece of crap, if you've ever heard actually good sound. It was so bad, I was convinced it was broken - until I heard Andrew Robinson say the same thing. I owned a previous Sony sound bar and even that was superior.
For half the price of the package you can get the Samsung and it's good too

I have Bose Smart Soundbar 900 and Bose Bass Module 700. No other brands will come closer matching the performance of Bose products. It's amazing and unmatched performance too.
Actually, my headphone designs beg to differ (as in, they put $3k 5hz-50khz Sennheisers to shame). I won't even try and explain them to you coz I'm about to revolutionize headphone, speaker and microphone designs and lower prices by rather a significant amount.
Btw, have you seen tungsten carbide silicene "fretboards"?
It's often an issue with high tension 15+ string bastard Warr guitar/Hellraiser/Fretless bass/Chapman stick instruments, in that they can actually kill you if the strings and body snaps...so you need like some kind of solid thingy. Hopefully it won't shatter. Let's find out!

How about using twin tower speakers and turning them sideways? That's what I did. $50, 10 channels, 120RMS or so things you've never even heard of, but they are supposedly "compact" and "orange" (unlike Apples). Apparently they have wireless charging, FM, BT, SD, USB, RCA to 3.5, a remote control, etc too. I haven't figured out wtf the weird short black cable without a port/connector is supposed to do though. It only has 2 5.25" subs though, and for some reason the airholes are at the back of the speakers.
But then again, I also use crazy shit like using cheap ass KZ IEMs that you can't possibly use at above 30% volume or you'll go deaf, a $45 24bit 192khz South African audio interface, a $25 pair of Alesis SRP 100s, a South African upgrade of Prodipe BR3000s (which was cheaper than the Prodipes but are kinda kickass, and I also have the Prodipe BR3000s). I did try Parrot headphones as well (they are basically the same as Onedio 10/50s) but I found their midrange too recessed. Though the Studio ones (the 50s, basically) are super comfortable compared to some other headphones. The Onedios/Parrots have terrible noise isolation, but nice utility, decent overall, considering they were $25 and $35-40 (for the two respective versions).
My speaker setup was only 19 channel, and almost all of the speakers were like 30 years old and obviously cost an enormous amount (like $100). That's why I got my new tiny compact 6ft $50 "orange" stereo soundbars. I do have some other 300w RMS 5.1 speakers that I could add, but I'd probably need an amp/psu unit for that and I'm terrible at wiring. But I'm eyeing some of those $10 megaphone things, coz I don't like it when the neighbours' dogs bark incessantly coz they're retarded. So I want to play that back at them. Wouldn't that be fun, like 600w rms 27.4 channel setup pointed through amped horns, with a recording of those dogs played back at them.

I can tell you from my own experience, recently got the Bose smart 900 soundbar and 700 bass module as well as the Samsung 990 which comes with soundbar, bass module and 2 rear speakers. I was going to save money and keep the Samsung if it wasn’t far off. To cut to the chase, I returned the Samsung. Kept the Bose. It costs a lot more, but it absolutely performed for the space I need it for, which is a large 2-story room I’m using as my home theater. I haven’t even bought the Bose rear speakers yet (I will) but the superiority was evident even without them. Maybe Samsung performs in smaller spaces but don’t make claims like you’re doing because having tried both, really your claim is ridiculous to me. I love a great deal but I’d rather a great product if I can afford it and frankly, the difference in sound quality and 'immersiveness' was pretty striking.
I love Bose sound, in particular no one can beat their bluetooth speakers especially at the price.

Did you know BT codecs, DAC/ADCs suck ass? Personally I use at least 24bit 192khz (on my 15 year old desktop) and 32bit 384khz on my laptop, with a $10-15 DAC/ADC (though it does have some caveats).

Samsung soundbars have weak ass bass. Don’t buy them.
None of the soundbars are really any more "surround" sound than even a single speaker (btw, I've even used like a $3 microphone as a speaker). Physics dictate that. All of that depends on the geometry of the room/"space", resonant materials, electric current, airflow, humidity, etc. So no, I wouldn't buy any of those things. They're overrated and overpriced.
