Just wanted to say theres a better way to move at the pillars. If you move in diagonals around the pillar in the same direction the lightning moves you can attack every other turn. By moving in the opposite direction you have to take 2 steps every time you get to the small gap. Looking at the left image at 3:55 id step forward, then up/left, attack, up/right, attack, down right, attack, down left attack etc

The torch did basically nothing.
The sparkles already point at dm-300 during the last phase and you don't need any extra vision whatsoever
