I've been doing a challenge run on this game, Dwarven King is the furthest I've gotten with Badder Bosses on. I'm trying to get the Doom Slayer badge, it's pretty hard. Nice strategy though 👍
Good luck! It's probably not ideal to use the entire setup I did with Yog for Doom Slayer (I did beat Yog here with all demon spawners intact), but phasing into Yog in the beginning and some fists can prove to be useful. Just make sure to have blinding stuff to handle ranged fists.
Actually I rarely see people who go in armor upgrade rather than in weapon, like this makes you invincible for every physical attack at some point, if you also get lucky with glyphs then you are simply invincible. I tried to beat Doom Slayer on 6 badges (accident lol) and with this tactic I used only around 5 healing pots. Sure it can make fights longer, but better to lose some time rather than entire run.

Playing this game normally is damn near impossible. Although, the Mage is easily the best class and most useful in this game. I can't get much further than the Dwarven mines. And some runs won't even spawn decent things early on until real late. Any advice for an apprentice dungeoneer on this game? I've been playing for months.
Best bet is to use rogue and abuse the hell out of ur stealth and the tier 2 skill that let u walk 1 tile gap away from sleeping mobs .. just finished a run with rogue on a random seed ...and best of all ..get lucky (free runner can convert excess str on armor to evasion so u might want to use that to ur advantage when u didnt have access to ring of might before floor 11 cause u cant equip most of the better armors ) If u manage to complete a run heres my favorite seed JSF-JLY-WZF ..u get a free ring of might on floor 6 which gives u access to tier 3 armors (just upgrade the ring til u get enough str from it)
@@epicgamernik76 til floor 21-24 that is Without magic resist glyph ull be taking 40 dmg per eyeball And gets freehitted by the scorpions alot ..while rogue gives u alot of breathing space (since 80% of the mobs is asleep until u step too closel
@@dirtybean2746 I don’t have it installed anymore. The massive amounts of RNG used for damage, protection and dodging was just too frustrating and badly designed. I don’t recommend playing it.
@TheUKNutter Skill issue. Jk, I know it seems hard at first but keep trying different strategies after every defeat and see which ones work best. I recommend playing with rogue and surprising enemies between doorways and using invisible cloak to run away in tight situations or surprise attack troublesome foes like crabs.
@@killerfox-anims3031 not really, the doom slayer badge is not that bad unless you let the horde get too big, try to have a crowd control weapon like fireblast or corrosion along with good armor (most of your runs should have +5/6 scale or plate, but you can go less if you're confident the damage output is like huge). Otherwise just adjust to what class you are, assassin is good because he can reposition if anything goes bad and warlock because he has amazing resource management. All in all though I mainly use warlock for like 6 challenge runs but for doom slayer use assassin and only do that 1 challenge to make it easier since you'll need to reposition a lot. Since the spawners aren't destroyed, instead of larvae you get normal enemies, so make sure you're pretty tanks, but also have good damage output. (Alot of buffs from potions or scrolls of rage/lullaby/blast work well too) oh and for the fists make sure you have a way to get rid of blindness since getting beamed takes out MASSIVE hp
Great Question! Whenever I was stacked on an enemy, there was a chance for me to be on top of it or below it. If I was on top of it, I would take damage from toxic gas, but if I was below, I could ignore all of the harmful effects. Exiting and entering the game rolls whether I'm on the top/bottom again, so I did that until I got below the enemy.
Recently got 608825 with warlock with 4 challenges(badder bosses, on diet, faith is my armour, swarm Intelligence) with warlock. I was lucky to have greatshield and wand of corruption. Completed with 21 healing pots left. The badder bosses is generally easier. I often accidentally got hit by Yog lasers, although the dmg is low due to ring of elements, I lose quite some score. On diet is not a problem since 10f due to warlock getting free satiety. Faith armor also doesn't matter since I put upgrades in staff and shield.

Yes, warding can be shot wherever you have vision, fireblast can "bend" around walls because it affects a cone area, and disintegration can pierce infinitely as long as it's upgraded enough. Paired with mind vision a good disintegration wand can be extremely good

I have Doom Slayer. Its very hard. You need so much healing potions. Try a OP Weapon, to kill the skorpions, because they slow you. Good luck!

+2 corrosion from floor 4, then used the blacksmith with a corrosion I found on floor 19 and dumped every upgrade scroll into the wand of corrosion

IMO the most easy class to beat the game for the first time with is warrior. You're pretty tanky so you can afford a few fuck ups.

If you can get a ring of haste, they are quite good :)
@@gigalh128 works best in a seed run cause ull know ur getting a ring of haste somehow >,< (random seeds can be quite unforgiving)

Some guy called RunningWithCake does tutorials on tips and trick to get better. I was 3-4 videos and I beat Yog Dzewa twice with rogue and huntress.

Yep, they should work on all versions of shattered with the beacon of returning, and they also probably also work on any shattered mods with it too.
