Judge saw right through the defendant's opportunist ways
Yes, thank God.
She totally took advantage and then thought she was entitled to even more! Horrible
What a crappy "friend". Defendant acted all sweet, smiley and confused in the beginning and then looked sharp as a tact at the end when the verdict was read.
So, she took advantage of a friendship of 40 years and her first, ever, customer? Is that friendship?
The "well ain't that some shit" expression on the defendants face as she heard the verdict was priceless!😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Was thinking the save thing. Her expression was priceless
😂😂
… with the hand on the hip.
Her facial expression reminded me of Dana Carvey as the Church Lady, "Well isn't that special". 😂
I'm glad the greedy defendant was finally put in check.
That was genius on the plaintiff saying she broke the agreement so I don't have to honor any previous agreement. "I agree" said the judge.
I LOVE how the plaintiff gave a legally compelling reason why the defendant shouldn’t receive the $2000 at all. JMM hadn’t thought of that reason herself and had to agree.
The plaintiff might be a pushover, but she was super-sharp on that point!
My God, you could watch in real time the realization cross the defendants face when she realized she messed up.😂
Best thing ever.
With friends like that who needs enemies 😢
The plaintiff looks like she stepped from the Tim Burton universe.
Edit: This was just a comment. I love Tim Burton, and I think she looks nice. I'm not being mean xD hope that clears the confusion up.
She should be approached for a role in the next movie.
I have no doubt you look 10x worse than she does and much worse.
That's incredibly mean.
(And exactly what I thought when I saw the thumbnail 😂😂)
😂
Happy Halloween!
She has a beautiful smile and a kind heart. Her "friend" is a greedy b
I am sure the plaintiff is a nice lady but that make up makes her look scary.
If it rains she just might melt.
It's ghoulish. She needs to use warm color makeup and lighten up the hair a bit to bring some color back to her face.
I think scary is cute 😂
The Edward Scissorhands look is kind of cool.
She looks like she stepped out of a Tim Burton movie😅
Anyone can take pictures and that defendant's "assistant" took advantage of a greedy old woman. That seems about right.
This comment needs more traction. It sums up the whole situation in this case!
I love the Plaintiffs goth look lol Idk if thats what she was going for but it looks spooky and I love it
I liked it too! I thought she was cute.
😂😂😂
she is an artist not goth....yuk
the defendent and her blond helper both had an evil eye..... wicked
This
The Plaintiff should not be in business with ANYONE. She agrees to 50/50, even though she had a lot of overhead and the Defendant had none. Then she agreed to 10% of future sales, until 2k is reached(for the Defendant). The Plaintiff was completely taken advantage of and she knew it wasn't quite right, but didn't do a thing about it. The Defendant really took advantage of the Plaintiff.
I agree with you but they're both wrong also for selling fake replicas etc.
Serves the defendant right.
The defendant got greedy for an extra $100 but instead now ends up with a cancelled agreement and therefore no future benefits of any sort, ha ha ha...
!/2 for taking a picture of the jewelry. Sounds SHADY!!!
The defendant's voice sounds like Roseanne Barr 😂😂😂😂😂
She looks like her, too
Came to the comments hoping I wasn’t the only one. 😊
I think the plantif is beautiful ! Shes such a kind soul
Anyone else notice Doug tell the defendant to “follow Rusty” instead of Douglas in the hallway?
He's talking about the pics on the wall....
I noticed that as well!!!!
Oh man I've never been happier with a verdict!!! That defendant is such an opportunist!
60 year old goths…cool
60.. lol
😂😂😂😂
More like 80.
she is an artist not goth and thats how older people ware thier makeup
@@jeepsishumate2021
😮😲😳😁😂🤣
That defendant got greedy!!!
If she hadn't gotten so greedy, the defendant would've gotten her 2,000 dollars. However, she then demanded a change of the deal, the exact same day I think the plaintiff said, she demanded more money that wasn't previously agreed to, and then she held the jewelry hostage.
Money will always separate people
I believe the lady met in the elevator is really her daughter
Hard to look less alive but she nailed it
Job well done judge. 🎉
Edward Scissorhands mom?!
😂😂😂
My thoughts exactly! 🤣
That's a good call
This is right up Grace and Frankie’s alley: Reselling designer buttons as jewelry 😂
Elderly goth girls! Awesome 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Greed is a he'll of a thing, she's a scamp and wanted to get more than she put in. Smh
James and the Giant Peach Vibes 😂😂😂
5:07 the contractor hired a subcontractor lol 🤣🤣 these ladies are amazing
The defendant reminds me of Dianne Wiest
I'm sorry but that lady on the left looks like death warmed over😣😣😣
Best been one of the best arguments from the plaintiff and it's good to see the judge recognize the too
Blonde in the red sweater behind defendant is an alien I reckon.
Doug still thinks Rusty is the bailiff, lol.
No, he was referring to the PHOTO ON THE WALL.
@@stratfordbaby He said "Follow Rusty", not "Go towards the photo of Rusty".
@@OWEN-CASHnow you’re just being purposefully obtuse.
Defendant walks in like she's high and mighty
As soon as the plaintiff walked in I booked a first class flight to the comments..
She should have gave the jewelry back kept that 10% of the business now she lost it all!! Geed will get you everytime.
Edward scissor hand😂😂😂
The defendant is a sneaky woman.
The defendant projected her own greed and untrustworthiness onto the plaintiff and thought the plaintiff would screw her over.
I want that necklace!
This was a 🔥 episode !! Didn’t know where it was going with both sides having good points!
Doug rubbing it in. 😂
He does it so well. It’s hilarious.
The Plaintiff is a cute lady. It's too bad the Defendent tried to take advantage of her.
I wish for nothing but the opportunity for those who have mistreated me to face their own actions through someone else.
So glad she isn’t getting any of that $2k. She already fleeced the woman taking 50% gross when all the expenses were the plaintiff. That’s crazy. “Friends” my arse
I want no cost liability and all the profit, WTH is she thinking, nobody runs a business like that or owe would all be broke.
Shut up Harvey, it's over.
The plantiff looks scary
I was listening and baaaby when i looked up and saw the plaintiff! 😱😱😱
I couldn’t imagine losing a 40yr friendship for a measly 100$ that’s insane 🤦🏾♀️
It's Cher's illegitimate sister.
Douglas laughing 😂
She looks like Lydia from Beetlejuice as an elderly grandmother. Am I the only one that sees it?
As the old saying goes... A thief never trusts anyone.
the blonde lady was the best part of the case he he :)
The girl with a red sweater and pigtails behind the defendant is scarier than the plaintiff.😐🧛🏼♀️ Is she an AI??
This jewellry looks great, I think it's a great idea, they should partner up with these brands!
The girl in the pink sweater behind the defendant.... Wow...
It’s all in the eyes, mesmerizing
Love the plaintiff’s style!! ❤
Defendant tried to pull a fast one. Too slow!! Lol
Good I’m glad the defendant didn’t get anything
Maureen Benun? I bought a beautiful clothing item with a label saying that name and have been wondering how to find out more about this person/this name...
Outsourcing to the outsourced….that’s the capitalistic way.
VERY INTERESTING CASE !!! SAD !!!
If anyone should know about not mixing business with pleasure... it's Harvey Levin.
Thank You Duggy!!😂
I know plaintiff looked HELLLLA FLY her whole life. I’m 28 and lazy to do makeup she putting in work.
Plaintiff looks like a member of the Adams Family.
Chanel will know who to go after the lady who has and make the jewelry. The lady suing her friend exposed herself a bit! Otherwise, Chanel was going after the one who was selling it.
5:10 Lt Data in the audience.
The defendant is a talented lady, but her business acumen is lacking. Which is surprising because she is obviously very intelligent. The reasoning she came up with at the end was brilliant. She was waaay ahead of the judge. She also comes across as a very nice person.
The defendant lost an incredible relationship. She was so greedy. I mean it's good to come to a good agreement in business, but she wanted EVERYTHING!
You mentioned the defendant twice. I think in the first case you meant the plaintiff.
Nice lady but, is she cosplaying mother gothel?
Another character from Tim Burtons world..with huge sums of money...decaying with no human heart
The public input part is very lame on this show
2000÷25$=80 hours the blonde lady charged. Then the defendant said she paid her 200. Which is it 2k or 200?
Two separate costs. 2K is 10% of value of jewelry which the defendant held & is counterclaiming for. The $200 was just for blondie for 8 hours of work. 200\25=8 hours.
The defendant is a piece of work...
This was a really good case legally. The judge actually let them respond back n forth without interruption. At the end neither can say they didn't get their point across or present all their evidence. Great case
Very well said
Why would the plaintiff have to pay anything for the younger woman doing online stuff. That's what she was paying the defendant %50 for 😂
Take advantage of people and eventually it will come back to you😊
Brilliant from the judge. She was a grafty bully
Greed is just greed be it a politician, business man/woman or a little old lady ! Plaintiff had no obligation to absorb defendants own costs of hiring someone to do her job. Then she tried to extort her by ransoming the merchandise , greed has no age limit!
Doug can be so rude!!
Illegitimate business, no one wins. Case dismissed!
Haha, 'Justice was done' as they totally thumb their nose at Chanel for copyright infringement and TEN (!!!) cease and desist orders.
Defendant comes across as one of those friends who's only a friend as long as she's getting something out of it. As soon as it's time to give back or reciprocate it's a problem. That's not a friend, it's a leech.
Is anybody else thinking of Edward Scissorhands?
The defendant doesn’t seem like she should be in business! I thought the same of the plaintiff too but in the end she was pretty smart. (Except for the part about ip infringement on Chanel!)
Who wants to play I spy??? The woman with the red lipstick behind the defendant is in the “Bad Hoopie” episode in a different outfit (different day).
Plaintiff looks like the Joker. Scary looking.🤣🤣🤣
sounds and looks like Roseanne is it Roseanne lol
Someone really needs to tell judge to stop cutting people off and talking over them. It is so annoying. Anyway, the plaintiff is such a sweet soul and I wish it was that hard to make me mad lol
I have a strong feeling for justice, but your using CC products behind their backs and had to change internet sites so they wouldn't catch on. Sure lady you're so awesome 😂
She looks weird because her eyebrows are up way too high!
Justice was not done here. These ladies were selling items illegally! They don't have the trademark rights to sell Chanel items. They received 10 cease and desist letters from Chanel (rightly so). They got booted off Etsy for selling against Chanel's trademark. And their response? Well, we'll just go over to Shopify and set up our own shop. That is utter crap. These women should be on the hook to Chanel for all of their sales (and possibly for criminal charges) for ignoring 10 cease and desist letters. My goodness, the chutspah!
OMG I think Chanel will be just fine. Maybe the plaintiff can get a job designing for Chanel
