@@TeddyParker It does not matter, I've been on the inventory email alert for over 2 years, I have maybe received 4 emails and the bikes are sold out the moment I hit the site... even in less than 1 minute. UNTIL TODAY I JUST GOT ONE 5 MINUTES AGO!!! Go to chain reaction cycles now!!!
I got a Vitus Sommet on sail for about 2000 dollars, and I can say that it was the best purchase of my life. The spec was insane and the geometry is very aggressive and modern. Really good paint quality as well. Would recommend
Loved this review! I got into Mtbing a few months ago, got a budget hardtail, upgraded it quite a bit and don’t want to put any more money into it. I want to start saving for a dual suspension, and I’ve been really interested in this Vitus Mythique. The specs are just insane even if I need to get a different dropper post. Exactly the kind of bike I’m looking for.
I'm in the same boat. I bought a Giant Talon 3 back in August, have added a dropper, but really don't want to put any more money into it. I've been stuck between the Giant Trance and Specialized Stumpy, will demo them once we get a lull in the snow and trail conditions improve. I'm on the lookout for leftover 2019s at a big discount currently. The Fezzari and this Vitus both are appealing at this price point, though may need to jump on Vitus quick as with Brexit now a certainty who knows what will happen with Chain Reaction cycles going forward, at least Fezzari is US based.
@@mrvwbug4423 also same boat though looking at hardtails still. I'm sort of waiting for the Sentier VR to come back in stock while also waiting for Salsa to announce the 2020 Timberjack models that are coming in February. Fingers crossed both of those happen soon so i can make a decision before Brexit messes anything up.
I started this hobby 6 months ago with Vitus 275 VR hardtail! After three months i felt like i need better bike for rough sessions. Bought 2019 Stumpjumper 27.5" and it was amazing!. Now i sold it like couple days ago and bought Kona Process 153CR 2020. This hobby take's it all and i dont mind it :D
@@mrvwbug4423 Vitus is a French company, they only have a deal on with the two stores they sell through. If Brexit does indeed muddy the situation Vitus can just find another online seller.
Thanks for the review, cool video. Unfortunately, they have been backordered for over 2 years now. I have never, ever seen a Mythique VRX available for sale, ever. UNTIL TODAY!!! I didn't get an email but I just happened to go to chain reaction cycles and BAM!!!
This bike is a steal for 2k, it is giving more travel than the Trance 29er and Stumpy ST 29er at 200 bucks cheaper, To match that travel on a Stumpy 29er you're up at a 2600 price point.
I need help. I'm looking to buy a new bike and the vitus sentier 27 vr seems INSANE! It costs about 1300€, like the 29 VR, but it's much better. While the 29 VR has sx eagle, marzocchi bomber z2 and mt500 brakes, the 27 vr has XT, rockshox revelation and sram guide brakes. So everything seems good. But when you go to chainreaction cycles or wiggle, the site shows that both 27 vr and 29 VR have same components (not the good ones, but the 29 vr's One :sx eagle and mt500). Wich site should i trust? Vitus official or chainreaction cycles?
Vitus haven't updated the descriptions for most of the 2020 bikes only the photos on the website so that's the spec from last year's models., So Chain Reaction or Wiggle will be the most up-to-date.
I am looking at getting Vitus Mythique 29 VRX Review. Not sure what size to get for someone is 5"10 with 30" inseam. I am between M and L on height chart. Any recommendations?
A guy on PinBike said "I'm 5'10" when I stand up straight, which puts me on a large-sized Mythique with a 462mm reach." So I guess stick with large just to be safe
We are exactly the same size, but my inseam might be closer to 31". I bought the L and had to return it for the M. Considering I had my bike delivered to me in France from the UK, it was a pain in the backside but I had to do it.... I could not standover the top tube.
@@cbarfatani I don't think there's much difference tbh at the small end of the range, I'm half thinking of buying a CX dropper and using shims to make it fit
I'm sorry but introing that fork on this bike as giving "visual pop" is ridiculous. Its a great fork at that price range. Its probably single most stand-out spec on the bike.... Visual pop!?
This is great, I wish there were bikes like these when I started. Good thing is now my buddies can get into it without a big budget
If only anywhere actually had it in stock
You have to sign up for inventory e-mail alerts. Price point is simply too popular to not be sold out constantly

sloth try looking into buying used bikes, but make sure you buy it smartly. There are some tutorials on buying used bikes

Why no sound of the bike riding?
Because it's not a motorbike.
I can't find this bike anywhere to buy ... not sure what is going on.
how does the 4 link compare to other suspension setups for climbing
What a setup for the value !
That Bomber Z2 fork is basically a Fox Rhythm 34 at a cheaper price point (same damper, air spring is almost the same).

Help.. vrs/vrx/triple B??? 2020 year
VRX or Triple B. But how do u get one nowadays?
What dropper post is recommended for VR size small? The seat tube is indeed very short. Any riders riding size small?
Did you ever get an answer for this? I'm trying to figure this out
One up dropper post. Shortest insertion length
