Going into the Forbidden West would be awesome. My favorite thing would be an aquatic biome, where Aloy must use some kind of techy swimwear to move underwater uncovering sunken ruins and fighting aquatic machines.

If only there was a 2nd game to the first. Maybe called "Horizon Forbidden West", and Aloy needs to travel there for some reason we would learn about in that game!

Oh, that'd be a great idea! Considering their archeologists and their knowledge of the metal world, I'd be very interested in what they would make of this. And considering how longliving plastic is, it'd make total sense that at least some pieces of Lego survived. Would they consider them as toys? Or part of some weird cultural/religious thing? And they usually aren't made of metal. Or Disney. I haven't seen anything in HZD that suggests that mice survived, so the next closest I've seen, they would ask themselves "what is it with these strange rat-things everywhere in this region?" All those rides, what would they interpret them as? Or imagine their faces when they get to the Star Wars section of the Park. What would they make of something like the Millennium Falcon, if it would've survived? Or a toy lightsaber? That could be so funny! It's probably not gonna happen, but it would likely be hilarious if you could visit an excavation site in Forbidden West, where they investigate this. Maybe they could make something like this as a DLC, if asked nicely enough?
If one notice, the last scene of sylens shows a metal devil in a desert. The two available in the game are in snowy mountains. So could the last one be in this forbidden west?
6:17 Here's something I've found amusing and interesting about this scanned glyph... Stormalong is a character from the American Tall Tales, a sailor who grew tired of the sea. So much so that he not only decided to move inland but to a place so far inland that no one had ever heard of the sea or had any concept of an ocean. To find it, Stormalong simply put an oar on his shoulder and began walking inland. As he was making his way through Utah he heard someone say "Hey, what's that funny looking stick on your shoulder?" Then Stormalong knew he'd found what he was looking for. And here in this game, we have entire civilizations of people living in a post-apocalyptic Utah who have never heard of the sea. The concept so beyond their experience they don't even recognise an ocean when they see one. Now I think we should ask, is this coincidence or a nod to the story of Stormalong? Guerrilla Games is a Dutch company which would suggest they had never heard of the character. And many American cultural references escape those outside the USA. But I lived in the Netherlands back in the 90s and I can tell you it has a surprisingly large American population. I was educated at the American School of the Hague and it was there that I was introduced to the story Stormalong. So it stands to reason that this story made it's way to Guerrilla Games. This could actually be a subject for one of your videos.
Definitely think the Forbidden West will be in the sequel. I have a sneaking suspicion that it contains humans (ted faro's descendants maybe) who are technologically advanced and survived the swarm, but have decided to leave the nora/oseram/carja/banuk alone. At the very least, I think there is something more going on than just carja superstition. There's something "old one-y" out there.
Faro killed all alphas and resided in his own shelter. I predict he survived as well somewhere. I doubt Sylens being just a very smart tribe member either.
The giant lake with sour water and drowned ancient city is most likely the California Central Valley. In the State of Play gameplay of the Horizon Forbidden West, near the end of the gameplay, Aloy and Erend look at a holographic map of the West Coast and it shows the entirety of the valley as an inland sea.
I appreciate the effort that you put in this videos...is amazing how this may be the beginning of a new adventure...the next chapter in Aloy’s journey and we just have a glimpse of that in those text. Thanks for the video and I hope you have a great day!

People have taken samples of the sands to take home, but sent it back to the park, saying that it's just not the same, as if it lost it's glitter and gleam. _Edit: Looking back on my old comments, I was right on the ball with this._ I'm really hoping for a Horizon Zero Dawn: The Forbidden West game. Two things I'm hoping to see is an alive (possibly even fightable) Metal Devil. A new machine variant I thin would be cool is a large Manta Ray if they show the Pacific. Ruins like Disneyland, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Transamerica Pyramid, or maybe even some Las Vegas casinos. Maybe even brand new tribes. Perhaps if all goes well over the years, depending on the sequel's success, maybe there could be even more games to follow taking her into the East or even to another Country or Continent as the globe in Elisabet's ZD Presentation confirmed there are numerous ZD and Op. EV facilities as well as more than one of Minerva's Transmission Arrays. There could be a tribe somewhere in the New World who have focuses and have figured out how to use the Old Ones' Tech.
The white sands might be salt lake, with the water evaporated after the Faro Plague. The blue mirror desert and Nevada cracked mud flats sound about right. Really hoping HZD covers Nevada and California.
Wow, just wow! I just recently discovered your channel, and it's stupendously beautiful. You capture the beauty and richness of this masterpiece very well. OK, I'm off, going to watch the rest of your videos.
You made a mistake as to the location of White Sands National Monument. I believe it does stretch into Mexico some, but the vast Majority of it is in the state of New Mexico.
Living in New Mexico, about an hour and a half's drive from it, it was an easy catch for me. As for it putting it more in The Forbidden West, I'm not so sure. It's in Southern, almost South-eastern New Mexico, putting it almost directly south of Denver.
I really hope that Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin survived until the 31st century on Horizon Zero Dawn According to Samina Ebadji, these were the languages that were supposed to survive, but I think that is not the case. From here I can see two options: 1. That the leaders of the world were aware of the true meaning of the Zero Dawn project and demanded that the languages of their countries survive, then I could see several possible languages that could survive: Russian, Turkmen?, Dutch, Hindi, Portuguese, and Danish. 2. Shrek English, Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin survived and the other languages were deleted. And I am aware that APOLLO was supposed to keep the knowledge on all languages but because of Ted Faro I decided to ignore from APOLLO completely I will just be very interested and intrigued if in the next game we can meet people who do not speak English and then maybe the Focus can translate what they say, as it translates the landmarks in the game
If I had to guess, the Cradle facilities teach people in different languages depending on the geographical location. It makes sense that we would see English-speaking Cradles in the United States.
NovaClimaxX interesting And I have a question for Random Side Quest: Is there another history or information from Horizon Zero Dawn that you have not yet researched and published in the video? Here are some ideas for videos: the Metal Devil The Old Ones the Sun-Kings the Naysay Doom Theories
Yeah, I think it's loosely implied other Eleuthia facilities would teach different basic/first languages depending on their location, at least for the initial kindergarten ages. World leaders or geopolitics didn't have anything to do with ZD so I don't think they had any input into it. They leave it to interpretation (and it's not super consistent) but I think the only reason aloys focus can read the glyphs is because aloy can read the glyphs.
@@thenewcaliph766 well, not really, that Mandarin sign was before the end of humanity aka "the old ones", also that dragon hologram from the sign is probably the proof that this is sign is from the days of the old ones. cuz: 1 dragons are not real, so no way they would even be between the animals that were brought back after the plague (even if they were real, only basic animals to establish an ecosystem were released) 2. no one in earth of the 31st century knows how to make a hologram as far as we know.
I've done a lot of searching and comparing maps today and the world of HZD has very twisted geography compared to the real world. For example Bryce, Utah would be where the Stealth hunting grounds are (relative to Daytower / Castle Gate, which is the most obvious reference geography), yet instead it's at Sunfall. The road to Yellowstone has been shortened about two hundred times, even when accounting for the rest of the world scale.
Yeah, only so much you can put into a game world at this point. Personally I don't mind the inaccuracy if it means including more interesting locations :)
HaulNasFab It took millions of years for India to crash into Asia and for the Himalayas. It would hundreds of thousands if not millions of years for any noticeable movement on the solid American plate to take place. Let’s look at another example; Europe. It hasn’t changed much geographically over the 30/20 thousand odd years that people have lived in it. Plate tectonics takes a long ass time man.
I absolutely adore these videos. It’s so sad to see our civilisation revert back to a primal state, and the new people have zero understanding as to the workings of what the sun actually is or our ancient cities. Hopefully in there sequel, they can grant the new people the knowledge of the old ones, thereby restoring humanity.

I will just be very interested and intrigued if in the next game we can meet people who do not speak English and then maybe the Focus can translate what they say, as it translates the landmarks in the game
If I had to guess, the Cradle facilities teach people in different languages depending on the geographical location. It makes sense that we would see English-speaking Cradles in the United States.
NovaClimaxX interesting
And I have a question for Random Side Quest: Is there another history or information from Horizon Zero Dawn that you have not yet researched and published in the video?
Here are some ideas for videos:
the Metal Devil
The Old Ones
the Sun-Kings
the Naysay Doom
Theories
Yeah, I think it's loosely implied other Eleuthia facilities would teach different basic/first languages depending on their location, at least for the initial kindergarten ages.
World leaders or geopolitics didn't have anything to do with ZD so I don't think they had any input into it.
They leave it to interpretation (and it's not super consistent) but I think the only reason aloys focus can read the glyphs is because aloy can read the glyphs.
You called it! Mandarin, at least
900 years of tectonic plate movements could change things like that.
HaulNasFab No not really.
Hunter Smith Right because minimal movement over close to 1000 years could not theoretically happen.
Things I want to see in HZD2: Las Vegas and Area 51
Oh...
Bruh, Just Bruh
You were right OMG!
He can see the future!
where tf is a sequel to this game? It's been 3 years now.
You will get the sequel in 2060s
William Slater Games take years of development dude. Decades even.
after rumors a sequel will came out for the Start of the Ps 5 this year or next year
It’s here today lol
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PREDICTED THE GAME'S TITLE 2 YEARS BEFORE
Bruh, he didn't predict it, it's a glyph you can find in the game, he just talked about it
It was hinted in so many ways lmao.
In fact it was said in many conversations too.
Well. He predicted the name first !!
That was an amazing analysis and prediction, congrats :) I'm sure you will enjoy it coming to life when playing the sequel.
Bro... it’s scary how u predicted the exact name of the sequel!!
This aged well
The name on the new game was forbidden west
Crazy how you guessed the title 2 yrs ago
I think this channel is about to get a whole lot more popular lol
little did they know that the forbidden west is the sequel
I want an update on this
