Great video. Suggestion: In future videos program a counter of steps or iterations, so the audience can keep track of the amount of 'goes' the learning takes. Would be cool IMO
Hey, great video man! One thing I'd recommend for you is these sorts of AI learns videos does really well with audio narration, not just text. Anyways good luck with the channel and AI projects!
Tbf AI Warehouse and other similar vids also did well with just text, so I suspect it was the "lab with grids on walls and floors" thumbnail that had more effect on viewership
"Whoa, Master! Were those-" "Stairs, Yes." "How ever did you learn to overcome them, Sensei?" "Lot's of training." "Can you please teach me, Sensei?" " 'If you wish to defeat me, You must train for another 5,000 years.' "
commenting to boost this channel in yt algorithm. One thing I was wondering is the inputs to the network and what actually Basim sees. Along with his own position, target position does he have some type of raycasting?
Hey Bro, Thanks for the comment ❤. I am new to the world of A.I. and coding so still learning. The A.I. actually optimizes itself overtime and learns the optimal way to walk with minimal limb movement, thus the skipping pattern you see here. I will experiment with basim's reward function and see If I can "force" him to use both legs. Have a Great day !
Idk bro, this is pretty good. Most of the ai that ive seen “walking” usually resort to this same skipping method, just slightly different variations depending on what the UA-camr wants them to do. The only ones who properly walk are ones that use some kind of reference video or something like that to mimic humans, or the ai that were baked for like years worth of simulation time. Plus, i think its wrong to call someones work lazy when its not even really up to them. They create the rewards and punishments to facilitate growth, the ai does the rest. Multiple different channels often make offhanded remarks that they had to retrain the AI multiple times because it takes one wrong step and screws up its own growth. The only possible thing you could argue as lazy is maybe he slacked on adding proper/logical/useful rewards and punishments, but he never said what he did and didn’t do, so we don’t know for sure if he was lazy or not. And even if he was a little lazy, sometimes simplicity is best.
@@cozmouzI wonder if giving an energy budget that's spent by actuator torque could help to balance the gaits. Perhaps make the amount not fixed, but increase of the AI has been struggling, and decrease the more successful the AI has been
Hey dude, this video was dope. I love watching AI learning and programming videos, and there are not that many creators that do this out there, id love to support this channel. If there is any way i can help out, other than suscribing, liking and sharing (Which i already did), like if you need help creating a discord server or something, please let me know, id be happy to be part of this. Keep it up
Bro you are truly amazing for this comment, appreciate it a ton! My channel isn't quite established yet so I haven't really thought about discord or anything else. Struggling with views still haha. If I ever need help, will contact you bro ❤️
@@cozmouz Well im sure you know what youre doing, it looks like each video you post gets more views than the last one, maybe changing your name to something related to AI might help? Ill make sure to share and comment on each video to help.
recently found this channel through the worm video and ngl i really like this specific ai's model
gives me huge toribash vibes and im all here for it

Great suggestion Thanks!
This is so underrated, great job! Also, if possible, can you do a tutorial on how to make these?

I actually prefer the text over audio narration.
Do a team of Basims vs. A different team of Basims playing soccer against each other
You are such a loving father
Bro is bullying the AI😭😭😭 7:11
Great video, funny but relevant to modern time. I wouldn’t be surprised if in a few months you had over 5k subscribers.

I think it's time for Basim to stop drinking, maybe hit some rehab.
Basic for the win!!!
Go Basim 💪🏻
Goo Bassimm!!
La música parece la de Saw
now imagine; techno zombies. hahahaha
Code plssss
Basim
There are channels where the AI learns to actually walk, not skip. This channel is lazy.

"sometimes simplicity is best" , you worded it perfectly!
And yet said "laziness" still results in regular uploads...
