Joe "Get that mic right up to your face Maajid" Rogan
Samara - Thank you!! 😂😂😂
Hahaha thought exactly the same :-D
He learned from the best Opie and Anthony it's great he pays attention to sound quality like the radio guys.
Samara *that sucker
lmao
Talk into your mic bro.
It helps if you imagine the microphone is a big steaming bowl of pho. Love your show
😜it's the only time when Magid's congeniality works against him! 😅
FOR REAL!!
thats what i was just thinking!
"I move away from the mic to breathe in"
Maajid Nawaz is such a passionate and enjoyable interviewer. Being polite and competent; never too sharky or teethless either. High quality, outbalanced interview! Thanks, man!
I wish he would speak into the microphone !
my favorite part was when he says "so what you're saying is" in reference to every British woman that interviewed him lolll
His desire to play victim is really unappealing.
Asking questions and listening to the answers is a far better way to conduct an interview than judging people with preconceived ideas about them ( James O'Brien, cathy newman are you listening ) well done maajid.
The left haven't a clue how to do this.
t s
Not necessarily, challenging peoples' views can be more effective because it makes people think and defend their position on the spot rather than just letting whatever they say pass unchallenged.
Scobra
"The left haven't a clue how to do this."
That is because we have brains and challenge what people say rather than letting them getting away with spewing BS unchallenged.
You may prefer a circle jerk with a bunch of people agreeing with each other, but the left generally prefer ideas being challenged and debated, ie we prefer dialectics over propaganda.
Oners82
No, it's because you don't listen to any other viewpoint. It's because you're militant and aggressive and lack basic manners and courtesies. It's because you respect only ideology and not people. You don't even have the brains to stay on topic with this thread, which is about asking questions and listening to people, NOT about the ideas being debated.
The left's idea of debate is smashing people over the head with bike locks and shutting down any speakers you dont agree with using violence. The greatest centers of circle-jerk currently on the planet are the universities which are soley in the grip of far-left politics and which shit out far-left drones by the bucket load every year.
And the lies you tell, the divisive identity politics, the re-writing of history to con the following generations into your narrative, the ideology itself which has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people over the last 100 years and yet you ignore, you are the enemy of the free world and of the future progress of mankind. The sooner we are shut of you and your ilk, the better.
Oners82 It's not like Peterson's ideas weren't explored in this interview.
Antagonism has no place in an interview. Why would you even want an on-the-spot opinion? It has no genuine thought behind it.
I know why you'd want it: you'd want it in the hope they fuck up and say something which can be misconstrued as offensive or inappropriate if you cut it right.
(When I say you, I don't mean you, Oners, I mean the hypothetical person who would seek Newmanist antagonism in interviews)
Isn't it a bit sad that we are actually congratulating them on having a civil discussion about important topics, which should be the norm but isn't.
Odd times we are going through aren't they. They are coming to an end.
It does feel good watching a civil intellectual conversation without someone screaming racist !
Get a woman on the panel and all civility disappears...
Isa I guess the importance of an issue is subjective, though I tend to think policies surrounding freedom of speech, current ideological movements and cultural shift tend to be important.
+Isa: What exactly is that ideology? Could you describe some of its ideological points?
"So what you're saying is..." and they laugh. I just got the joke by watching this interview for the second time.
Great interview. Respect and listening to each other. Maajid's comment at the and about "we're having this conversation" really is a positive upbeat way to both describe and end the interview. well done.
I think Maajid needs recognition here. Although not politically agreeing with Peterson he gives a fair and balanced interview allowing him to get his point across, something not often seen in British journalism.
Yes i like him sometimes but im very wary of him, he was a radical islamist but now says he's a moderate Muslim? Seems like he's doing taqiyya
You say 'Taqiyya' as if you know what it means. Majid is a Munafiq. He only represents himself and those that have an anti-Islamic agenda.
totally, she made herself look really stupid but I felt a wee bit sorry for her (much as I abhor her interview technique) as I think she had more of a point than she was capable of getting across. I'd be interested to see how she might talk to him off camera as he very clearly made her think...
@@jagoman85 what is anti islamic agenda is it people who don't want sharia ?
I think he especially deserves credit for the end of the interview, he asks about something he has strong feelings on, and resitsts interupting the guest on his show.
"Women prefer care jobs.... thats not right, actually. Most people in care jobs are women"
This is why I love this guy. So. Incredibly. Careful. And. Specific.
James Fortune that’s why the left is unable to successfully misconstrue Dr. Peterson’s words. And what so naturally occurs is the pathetic and yet feeble attempt of the left to bash and mislabel Peterson as an alt right racist.
It’s not working.... the left is getting weaker
They'll still attempt to misquote him though, look at the state of this:
ua-cam.com/video/Jhl5yeZlltI/v-deo.html
James Fortune
He's still a dick head though when he says stupid shit like denying that women were oppressed historically. It's just nonsense.
He doesn't say that. He says that there are multiple ways people are oppressed and to blame it ALL on men is a mistake.
Lyle Arnett, Jr
Wrong. In an interview he was asked if he thinks that there was historically any discrimination against women or ethnic minorities and Peterson answered:
"I don’t think women were discriminated against, I think that’s an appalling argument."
That has got nothing to do with "blame", he is denying the existence of oppression based upon gender itself which is quite frankly an idiotic thing to say, especially coming from a highly educated person.
Best UK interview of Jordan Peterson by far. Great work LBC. Really impressive
And now they’ve given him the push apparently. 😐
The interviewer was brilliant here. No agenda, just happy to ask brilliant questions.
Calm, logical discussion. Refreshing.
Jeffrey Rust I agree. This is what society needs.
What happened to this anyway?
Very refreshing. I have one question. How does one get a job as a broadcaster And not know to speak INTO the mic and not past it!!
It’s nice that a technical issue was the only down part of the video.
I'm a middle aged woman of colour and he has helped me tremendously. it's not only white young straight males benefitting from his sage advice.
Free Speech Advocate Am curious on what ways Peterson has helped. Just curious thanks!
Free Speech Advocate Stop defining yourself with the binary of "white" and "coloured", it's part of the collectivist narrative defining supposed racial hierarchies of white vs everyone else using us vs them.
@Pedro Vaz You are sad. Logical discussion is the only way to move forward without turning into societies that have and do kill each other regularly. Shia and Sunni, RC and Protestants, Serbian and Bosnian, etc, etc. How can you be so angry that you discount so much evidence contrary to your suggestion of "organizing against genocide". You play directly into the hands of the extreme left and undermine the majority of rational western people.
@Pedro Vaz You are lost in your own confirmation bias and anger. You are the enemy of your own people.
I'm male with mixed 'almost of all east asian region' blood and he has helped me too
Well, that is one of the most informative and enjoyable discussions I have ever listened too. I am an old Scottish guy (lapsed protestant) and kind of centre left in my beliefs. I totally got the argument for individual sovereignty overriding religion, race and social categorisation. Thank you to Jordan and Maajid.
I'm a centre left aussie. Can't believe people paint this bloke as a far right figurehead. He just seems like he genuinely wants to help people. Though, I don't agree with his carnivore only diet, lol.
@@aidanm5578 he has to eat the way he does to keep his health.
It was when JP still made sense, one of the last instances of him doing so. How he has changed. Once articulate, cogent and a proponent of common sense, he is different individual these days. Watching the video above there is no hint of the polemicist and apologist for the right wing fundamentalists from whom he now draws his income. His recent emotional outbursts against everything he perceives as an ideological threat to conservatism, fundamentalism even, are a far cry from the JP we see above. I am not sure what happened, but he is no longer working in academia and seems to draw an income from his on line presence and his public lectures. Can it really be true that he has literally sold his soul to the right
@@dragosapina5692 yeah. I didn't agree with him fully to begin with but respected some of his perspectives, but he's fallen a long way to a hard right polemicist online now
@@windywindmill98 Following him lately, or at least keeping up with news about him, I now wonder whether it is accurate to say that he has 'fallen' at all. I was inclined to be more defensive of him previously as I thought many of his critics were putting words in his mouth and accusing him of attitudes and sentiments he simply did not demonstrate. It seemed to me people were to ready to make assumptions about him based on preconceptions only, and not based on anything he had actually said - yet. The incompetents and prejudice of some of his early critics gave him more credibility than he deserved though. He wrote a self help book, which genuinely seemed to strike a cord with many people. However as laudable as that may be, even in that instance he wasn't exactly unique or especially insightful in his advice - not to the extent that justified him becoming the guru figure he seemed to become. He never had the gravitas to match his aspirations and intellectual pretensions, however, and while its possible the intention he received turned his pretensions into actual delusions. What is extraordinary though is his anger and lack of ability to engage in any rational discussion. He is clearly far from the philosopher he seems to believe himself to be, but he seems to also think he is a wit of Wildean proportions yet his retorts to his critics seem to be increasingly schoolyard in character. There are those who see his contortions of logic and abuse of a thesaurus as impressive, but more because of the sentiments he expresses rather than the strength of his arguments, but you get the sense that those people believe anyone who has read a book is an intellectual. Is he an actual idiot, or is he severely unwell? Dont know. He is not a sage, philosopher or a reliable authority on anything anymore - not even on the field of psychology - so divorced from reality has he become.
I seriously appreciate how neutral this host is with his questioning. I'd rather this than a game of chess between Jordan and a very biased interviewer.
You mean someone who’s not challenging any of Jordan’s opinions?
That’s always what people mean when they say bias interviewer, they mean ‘please don’t be mean to my guy’
@@justjackman Pretty much.
@@justjackman an interview is not supposed to challenge opinions or ideas it’s meant to make it more apparent what the individual actually believes so that it is more transparent and elaborate
@@lets_wrapitup according to whom?
The truth is bias and thats why JP fans hate it.
JP is so careful with his words.
I wish people would think more before speaking.
Yes it's awesome , remember he also says you take the risk to offend someone.
yeah bc he's lying
I wish more people would think while listening to him
As if on cue - they will always be someone to prove you're correct, eh Dream State? XD
It doesn’t matter how much careful you are with your words, d left will eventually get you. They got Jesus!
More I watch of Jordan Peterson more I am bemused why he is sometimes called controversial. Nearly everything he says is just common sense.
You're right, it is common sense, except for those who are hard of thinking. Look at some of the comments and you'll see that this is the case. There are none so closed than those who maintain one stance throughout their lives. Are they happy this way? Yes but they will never realise their real potential and it is this that also makes them cowards to some degree. Minds which are still do no favours to the head they inhabit.
This is why the Left have shot themselves in the foot. As usual they try to trash the reputation of anyone they think doesn't agree with their philosophy. The more people see that Jordan is not what the Left have tried to portray him, the more the Left look stupid and lacking in credibility.
Because in this era of insanity, everything common sense is controversial, this is how the SATAN works. You say there are TWO GENDERS, this is controversial. You say, men are stronger and taller than women, this is controversial. You say men earn more because they more often take the riskier, more boring, less flexible, dirtier, less social, more technical, longer hour jobs (all of which are scientifically proven), and this is controversial. You say, gays and lesbians have a life expectancy far lower than straight people and this is controversial. You see, everything common sense and scientific are controversial to these people!
That's right Robert Bolder. Common sense has not been heard enough for quite some time. That's why it sounds so astonishing. It is exactly what I thought when hearing Jordan. It's common sense. But the Marxists have taken control of speech & thought by their actions. They invented Political Correctness to control speech. We are now pushing back & Jordan is the start.
Ah but the fact that people have different common senses it where the confrontation comes from. But most people haven't thought about what should be common sense as much as jordan has to begin with.
"In droves..." pauses. Thinks about what he said. "Yeah, in droves."
That is why i love him. He is very careful with what he says and when he says something he means it.
and he also is incredibly ignorant and propagate white supremacy, dont let him hide behind the shroud of "intellectualism".
Shame he is the poster boy for women haters.
@@florida12341000 literally how
@@lets_wrapitup did you read my second reply that is how
What I like about Majid is that his willingness to listen to another viewpoint and perhaps learn from it. Even if it goes against his religious teachings he listens and you can see him sublty perhaps incorporating that into his way of thinking. Such a progressive man
Wow, I had forgotten what a professional interview looks like. Thank you Maajid.
Keyword: looks
Not really professional when he doesn't know what the microphone is for.
LBC should be commended for allowing JP to speak openly despite the current smear campaigns against him. Maajid is someone who is able to interview a guest in a diligent and probing manner, in stark contrast to Cathy Newman.
This is THE best Jordan Peterson interview I have ever seen. Excellent job by Maajid... Just remember to talk directly into the microphone in future 🤣
I've been scrolling down the comments to see if anybody else noticed that Mr. Nawaz kept getting further and further away from his microphone. The entire interview was very professional and enlightening but just to suggest to Mr. Nawaz that some of the listeners might not have been able to hear his questions as well as if he had spoken directly into his microphone.
Great interviewing - loved this discussion - shame it wasn’t longer!
I've been cleaning my room nonstop since peterson
Bradley Robinson good call man.
Me too
Your life still sucks.
You guys need to come to my house. It's a mess
Hahahaha, I now actually look around every morning and mutter to myself "Keep your room tidy" Peterson has a lot to answer for, I'm constantly putting things away.
To the mainstream media, across the spectrum left and right, ^THIS^ is how you conduct an interview! Mad journalism skills Mr Nawaz. Please keep up the good work.
I noticed the audio changed significantly depending on the body positioning and was slightly put off by it.
Then I thought that the body shifting may have been a side effect of having an engaging conversation. I notice that when I’m actually engaged in a conversation I am rarely aware of my body positioning and hand movements. I appreciate this dialogue.
"thought is actually a public process"
Underrated point. They kinda glossed over it there.

Fantastic interview. No one “smashing” or “destroying” anyone for viral clips, just reasonable, nuanced debate. How refreshing.
they are both great people
@David HargreavesNot for sure. He may have turned on the veiwing device all by himself!
@David Hargreaves it's typically better practice to ask a person to justify their views rather than calling them an idiot.
Quite agree. It demonstrates that a non-confrontational exchange can be, and often is, more interesting than the usual and highly predictable clang of battle where we run through the same talking points. The less we place in affirmation, the less we place in exploration - to our cost.
Pedro Vaz you are not white
maajid is a great interviewer, a true liberal.
i strangely found it comforting seeing maajid was drifting away from the mic. It shows he was truly engaged in the conversation, not just an egomaniac presenting his own propaganda show like james obrien
Daddy Dana: Great comment and it's so true. Pfft!..Don't get me started on James 'Gaslighting' O Brien: Yes,as you say he's an egomaniac and also a propagandist, but it's his Gaslighting technique with callers who disagree with him that(to me) is his most hateful trait that nobody ever talks about: If you don't know what 'Gaslighting' is, just Wiki it,read the first sentence and tell me if that doesn't describe that lunatic O Brien's interview technique....perfectly!
Or maybe he doesnt understand how the mic works...
does maajid really believe that about gender reassignment surgery? sauce pls.
And i somewhat agree it is Polands (or any other european countries) moral responsibility to take in 'refugees'. However it's not a moral obligation.
What is 'morally correct' for a nation to do is not always good for the native population. The foremost moral obligation a state has is to protect its own people.
I'd like to hear how he phrased those two arguments.
Daddy Dana I don't know why James obrien gets to interview people when he's useless at it and universally despised
White Void no
A balanced and respectful interview. Both men are intelligent, articulate and debate in a mature manner. Great stuff.
JP is very disturbed due to years of depression. It's a shame really as he is now so wrapped up in his delusion his entire life revolves around it.

Very nice civil discussion.
Yes.
*Triggered* haha sorry had to get that out of my system but yeah you're right
Certainly was a civil and intellectually engaging discussion.
Especially when you compare it to interviews on MSM like the BBC, NBC, CCN etc... which all feel more like a political tribunal with the purpose of grilling a non-PC or non conformist heretic rather than an interview or a debate.
Well yeah because it is all about public spectacle and networks that stir up the most drama and the most heat are the ones everybody is constantly talking about. It's a working system and the networks have no reason to want to change that. The only way out is society finally growing up and embracing the idea of different viewpoints rather than hating upon them or using them to create unnecessary conflict. That goes for most political systems as well. But society growing up? What was the definition of madness again?
Thankyou both common sense and reason is refreshing , the left particularly should learn this

Thank you. A respectful, fascinating, and intelligent conversation. Contrast Nawaz with the likes of Cathy Newman and James O'Brien.
Maajid is very listenable on Lbc. O brien(I have other names for him)is not. The worst thing is that he has created an echo chamber of sycophantic listeners who parrot his thoughts and words and thus people like myself dont even bother to listen to him anymore!! The hysterical thing,of course,is that he has been caught on the wrong side of politics with Brexit,Trump and Johnson. His hubris will get him in the end
@@steveg59 Or maybe O'Brien actually challenges the people whom he interviews, instead of asking a series of very light questions and pick at previous interviewers. Peterson has a lot to say which is useful, but he's not a genius and he gets things wrong often. He also strays in to conjecture and conflation of ideas in subjects he has little knowledge about. He's a quick witted run of the mill conservative, with firmly held beliefs about the importance of the family unit, stemming from his "Christian values". He is very disparaging about anyone who firmly challenges him (not to say O'Brien isn't, in fact I often find O'Brien far too smug), but I find it bemusing how wildly popular a guy who just sells self help books and repeats a lot of well trodden ground in that area. This just seemed like a book tour interview without the plugging of a book.
@@MichaelJuska I suspect that face to face O.Brien would be less effective. He has the overwhelming advantage of being on " home ground" when on the radio and hides behind hectoring callers that he does not agree with, and of course, he has the dump button to further give him the smug feeling that he craves of always getting the last word!! There are other presenters (Shelagh Fogarty and indeed Maajid ) who I disagree with politically who at least can be listened to, as they both at least give the callers respect and air time.
"Now I have come to a crossroads in my life.
I always knew what the right path was. Without exception, I knew. But I never took it.
You know why?
IT WAS TOO DAMN HARD!!! " (Al Pacino's speech in Scent of a Woman)
Professor Peterson is so appealing to young men because he inspires them to take a hard way, a path of principle that leads to character.
He inspires them to step into the Forge, to face the Crucible.
To pick up their Cross, and carry it, endure it and in the process try to be a better person.
Now this is a man of Western culture.
A truly admirable gentleman
Now where else does strength come from? Not sitting on your iPhone all day. U see so many manlets today 18 year old with no biceps long and lanky..
I've read through hundreds of comments on this thread and this is by far my favourite. Very well put! 👏👏👏
Just found this interview and I'll be subscribing. Excellent discourse.
Great interview, not enough ads though. I only got interrupted every couple of minutes which made it very difficult to reach a state of ultimate rage.
Use the Brave browser, it's free, and they have a mobile version as well as PC version. It stops ads, no more interruptions, my friend :)
This is crazy. An actually good and respectable interview with Jordan Peterson??
here has done a countless number of good ones. Joe rogan, dave rubin, h3h3?
You should check out his interview with Russell Brand.
the one where JP gives Russell a beatdown on marxism?
James Brooks the second conversation uploaded last week
Oh yeah that was a good one
Honestly, it seems like people try to make Dr. Peterson into some caricature of an old, paranoid, angry man who's not ready for the revolutionary shift(which isn't coming, by the way). If they just took the time to listen, really listen, they'd realize that he's entirely sensible, very empathetic, intelligent and well spoken individual.
yes this thank you
See opinion I don't like that I disagree with emotionally. Mischaracterize. Over emphasize already addressed statements that are retracted or has added context that is ignored. Labeling. Article written, "associated with the alt-right". Wikipedia article edited, "associated with the alt-right by (insert corporate news sources here). CANCEL. GUILT SUPPORTERS BY ASSOCIATION. GUILT SPONSORS. Deplatformed. Rinse and repeat. Don't blame yourself, they prey upon the human need to understand something quickly with a buzzword and many whose opinions are not black or white are seriously hurt by flawed interpretations.
If everyone thought with the same intensity and compassion yet firm logic as Jordan peterson the world would be at peace.
But why is he so overrated?
Maryam Kim hi Maryam..... I just replied to one of your previous comments where you called him banal and Common sense, now you are calling him over rated on somebody else’s comment. You have also commented elsewhere berating him, which is your prerogative.... however all of your comments are personal attacks and do not seek to question or pull apart his arguments. You therefore do not seem to be adding anything to the conversation other than trying to figure out for yourself why people “rate him”. Even in this comment you have totally mischaracterised what the person is saying by boiling it down to then overrating him. Please do say something useful and make the debate interesting. Peace and love
Now here’s an interviewer who takes his profession seriously. He asks questions to learn more about his guest and, in the process, takes along his audience with the same goal in mind. And that goal is to become more knowledgeable about a person or topic, maybe even spur you on to begin your own journey of enlightenment.
Too many so called interviewers are entertainers first. Their goal is not to gain wisdom and insight but to either be buddies with their ideologue soulmates or to attempt to skewer and belittle those with whom they disagree.
Great job Mr. Nawaz.
This is why I like Maajid no agenda just open discussion and listening ears, well done.
Can more people mention the microphone please, we don't have enough comments on it
I agree, how is he ever going to know about his microphone? We need at least..... 3 times as many comments about it, that oughta do it.
Well what are people going to talk about it if 50% of the interview it isn't audible?
SiriusCJS maybe the remaining 50% which is the interesting half of the dialogue. Or keep mentioning the microphone, maybe if they see enough comments they will do the interview again.
SNIFFMYBADGER they don't have to do it all over again. Just bring the volume up in the mixing/editing process. Which is something that should have been caught in there first place. Whoever is responsible for posting content heard this & said, "okay, this is good". It's not. Same with a board engineer. They could have at least raised his mic if he didn't know how to be on it.
Sure thing. Not sure how people persistently commenting will help
Holy cow how smart can one man be. This Peterson guy is incredible
You need to get out more mate
@@akhinambiar why's that? Will I find someone like Jordan Peterson outside?
@@evan2173 I don't know you're experience or who you know. But in my experience, I come across a lot of opinionated people, political agenda people, debaters, "big words" people.
I haven't come across much people that tackle arguments with data, not only argue statistics, but constructed system of values that seriously confronts some of our difficult societial problems. Exposing issues accurately then bold enough to stand behind and not wavering. He goes a step further by having solid values that stems from historical and philosophical fields.

Maajid Nawaz, thank you for this well balanced and honest interview.
I've watched and re-watched this many times. This is the 1st time I've noticed 4 sets of double adverts in 8 minutes of footage! WTAF?!
One of the most constructive journalistic interviews with JP that I’ve seen.
Yes, Newman was fun to watch, but I didn’t learn anything beyond the fact she’s an incompetent egotist.
And that she's a Crazy Left Wing Lunatic.
thats not true, i also found out that I feel sorry for the guy that married her as well, can you imagine that household.
And a toxic feminist.
shes just doing her job...give her a break
@Iain Mckenna
"shes just doing her job...give her a break"
She needs to be given a permanent break
Thiomas Sowell looked into a statement that male doctors made a lot more than female doctors. He found out that the male doctors worked up to 500 more hours.
J Kay Thomas Sowell is awesome

Funny you say that....ironically both my parents work in manufacturing, not only do they havr the same job but work in the same building and have same positions (plant managers)
Both make 80,000 a year base salary, but my dad far exceeds my mother her whole life due to 2 main reasons. 10 hours OT weekly for many years and never calling in sick no matter how sick he was.
My mother essentislly has no paid sick time end of year while my father accumulated 12 weeks sick and had bern maxed out.
This is nothing but personal anedote but men are willing to just irrationally work harder even if it means hindering ones health.
My mother rather work less, use her paid sick time every year and spend time with me (her son) going shopping or heading to NYC for the day window shopping n eating at resturants. Just normal mother son time back when i was in middle/highschool.
But my mother is 100% more healthier than my father now due to that main reason. Which is why men die younger than women
Thomas Sowell has been dropping Truth Bombs longer than I have been alive (I am 40). Also why you never see him anymore, leftist rather debate knuckle heads they can easily straw man.

Those pesky facts researched by geniuses...
Unwatchable with so many ads. Can't concentrate when they keep getting cut off mid sentence
Put it on 2x speed then go take a shower. When you're done all ads will have played and you can watch it from the start.

Overall excellent interview. This is great content
This is the kind of interview that’s needed.
An interviewer who’s actually interested in the topics, not pushing their own agenda and an interviewee who’s willing to listen to the questions being asked.
I don’t even care what side of the argument you’re on, just have the conversation as grown adults and listen to both sides.
Spot on, both the comments by Aaron and the OP by Shazam.
Aaron Warren Maajid has done a lot of work with Sam Harris
It's good that Maajid Nawaz does not try to "destroy" Peterson, but instead challenged him and did not let him go easy, but actually made Peterson make very good and advanced arguments. Not like Cathy Newman...
also asked the same question in a different way 3 times on male suicide until he got an answer that was satisfactory. Peterson has a habit of going off on tangents and Maajid did an excellent job of drawing him back on track.
Peterson as ever was a joy to listen to. overall an excellent interview.
boom!! exactly
Great interview. Dr Peterson is getting better at explaining his very good points.
Having an interviewer who's not just looking for gotcha moments makes such a huge difference
He's given a chance here, for a change, without the interviewer interrupting or speaking over him.
Wilpuri Films I have heard jealous people complaining online that Peterson is some kind of opportunistic Rockstar.
On the contrary I believe he was thrust into this role by the tenacious SJW snowflake army occupying the universities of Canada and America.
He is an unlikely hero for common sense thinking.
Scot Loveland not a doctor.

Excellent interview Mr. Nawaz ! Thank you very much.
One small comment: you tend to lean next to your microphone rather than talking into it. Thus, there is quite a difference in volume between you and J.P. that required me to continually cycle the volume button up and down if I wanted to hear your comments/questions (and I did).
Thank you again. Great questions and insights.
Both of them are amazing!Maajid my favourite UK radio guy and Jordan such a smart and well defined guy!
That is perhaps the most civilised discussion I have yet encountered on UA-cam. A million miles away from the immature point scoring Cathy Newman debacle.
the bobbs Agreed! That CN interview was guaranteed to be notoriously poor when the “journalist” had already set her agenda....
So what you are saying ? :)
I think Kathy Newman was just an attack dog that was snet to attack Jordan by the BBC. She was following orders.
If you look at the camera angles when they thought Jordan was going to collapse. Look at Kathy's demeanor. She smiled at.him at times.
I am willing to bet that she even admired Jordan Peterson to a certain extant.
Absolutely brilliant interview. I'm glad people like Peterson exist - putting themselves on the line to stand up to radical groups.
Pure BS
@@gerhardgiedrojc991 working 14% more hours translates to 44% more money. I’d like to know what jobs pay increases like that!
Men work in more dangerous jobs and that accounts for increased wages. Women work in jobs that don’t scale. You can’t scale caring for people to 10000 more people like men can in electronics or computing.
Does this guy ever listen to himself?
Dangerous and manual jobs don’t tend to pay that well.
Fishing, the pay can range from abysmal to decent but most younger people I know have been leaving the industry in the last few decades since it didn’t give them a decent and steady income.
Even lorry driving is listed as one of the most dangerous jobs and it pays very poorly.
Logging and forestry. Again not exactly a high paying job. I’m sure you could find a few jobs, perhaps in remote locations or short, seasonal contracts that pay more than the usual but then you have to support yourself for the rest of the year.
@@murph8411
You bring up some interesting points.
I’m also not sure what Peterson meant by the increased earnings comment?
In Canada, most skilled trades jobs pay very well.
These jobs often have overtime & many workers claim Government employment benefits, if unable to work, which amounts to 60% of their usual wages.
Many people from traditional fishing communities worked in the oil industry as it payed much higher than the fishing industry.
I know a few people that worked oil & gas industry for a few years & saved enough to pay for their house in full, no mortgage.
Well said! So enjoying this discussion. Need to go to sleep but cannot stop listening!
Fantastic interview - really bringing out the key points of JP
Big respect to Maajid, he kept it light hearted with his 'so what your saying' kathy Newman joke
Solo Pariah yeah I’ve sat on the fence a bit Re Maajid, thought sometimes he didn’t let people talk; but this interview knocked me off lol. Impressed 👍
