Great video and tour! I lived in Vegas for 18 years and always liked the old Vegas. If there are more of these, please show them off. Las Vegas Country Club was another place to be.
I appreciate the fact it was left mostly original and how good the condition is. The built in appliances are a trip. I love how much you love it even more, but I don't think I could do it. I already lived through that era once. Once is probably enough for me. Lol.
We even left the original flip down, built in ironing board - just gave it a little face lift. It was a lot of fun figuring out how to preserve what made the house so special, while also updating it to the best what you can build today (what they would have used, if they could have, when building the house originally).
I'm going to go out on a limb and ssssaaaayyy... you're a little fond of this home 😆 Glad you were able to make it through the entire video. Thanks for giving us a passionate tour of a huge piece of Vegas history. There were some pretty cool features in this house. Maybe you'll hit a Jackpot there and be able to afford this one 🤷♂
About to start real estate school and this is exactly the type of property i want to specialize in. I live in paradise palms now because of my love of vintage vegas
Wait, I’m a new sub. Is this a new series, or do you do this a lot? I love how different the format is, which is very entertaining a quality content. Thank you for doing this.
No lie I Love that green on you. But green is my fav color. Also that house is 🔥🔥. I gotta reach out to you soon cause I am in Vegas a lot more now so I have to get ready to rent or buy lol. Keep killing it Laci as always. ☺️
Interestingly, the house was on the market for a good stretch when we bought it. I think most people just didn't know how to approach modernizing such a time capsule, while preserving what made it so special. It took a tremendous amount of time and money to get it right, but we LOVE living in such a special space.
for a second almost thought was house i liked up on the north east side of town off lk mead blvd for entering lk mead preserve. was a half ac lot, mostly concrete outside, inside had lots of pink and mirrors. when was looking listed for like 350k. i love old original places. was looking at properties in Duck Creek, came across true old log cabin hopefully my wife will convince our daughter to move out here from wi so can sell property. i still like being in Pahrump.
Wauw, what a beatifull house. Does a house like that have any form for house conservation attached to it? Is the sofa group by the fireplace, sunken? Is the purple carpet (with the black panda) velour carpet?
Thank you. Lots of love went into the original build, and into our restomod. There is no "conservation" process for a house like this, but I wish there were. Unfortunately, most vintage gems in Vegas have been wiped out, and "updated" with what's currently hot on HGTV. The sofa group by the fireplace is not sunken, but the living room is. The purple carpet (with the black jaguar coffee table) actually has a few colors in it - we love it. It's not velour, but it's a super soft and supple shag that shows the different colors depending upon your angle to it. They definitely would have rocked this carpet if it existed back in the day.
Morey Yaeger is a name I haven’t heard in years… my dad knew him. My dad was SAC FBI 1980-83. I knew the Doumanis as well. Then Tyson bought it. Too funny
Amazing. I used to dislike MCM homes. I had always been a 100 year old house or more enthusiast. Not anymore. I really appreciate them now. So many bells and whistles that we don't incorporate into homes anymore. Always so much light and windows everywhere bringing the outside in. This home is amazing and you have done an amazing job showing it off. If I was selling a home I would love to have you as my realtor.

Wow, you just made my morning❤
That house is fabulous. Fabulous. What a gem. I love every single thing about it. 2.2m is a bargain.
That is indeed pristine. Great house and your reactions are priceless. Rocking that green dress too!
Great video and tour! I lived in Vegas for 18 years and always liked the old Vegas. If there are more of these, please show them off. Las Vegas Country Club was another place to be.
You got it! Thanks for commenting!
I've lived in the LVCC for 14 years now and love it.
Perfect pool for you to skinny dip in and the bathrooms are so good, you can actually relax in one of them.

Amazing, that house could be a museum. Great video and tour!

This place was a steal in November of 2020 when it last sold, back when Vegas was still a Bargain! Unfortunately those days are gone!
Interestingly, the house was on the market for a good stretch when we bought it. What was the price?
@@lvbadboy Sold 11/20 for 744,800
The home is very nice and it will take a special buyer. Good luck.
Oh, for sure! But thank you for dropping by and commenting!
lot of Vegas is 1/2 the price of Palm Springs, nice can only be original once, like 1940-90s time warped one owner homes
Wow this house is insane!
Your videos are upbeat and entertaining......keep up the content. Steve
Glad you like them! Thank you for warching and commenting!
You are perfect 🔥🔥🔥

I hope they leave it as is 😍😍😍😍
It wouldn't not be bad if they did leave it as is!

Small world
Awesome home Lacy!!! If only I could come up with 2.2 million dollars. Does it have a wood burning fireplace?
The fireplace has been converted to gas, though I do believe we could still burn wood if we wanted.
@@AndrewinLV nice!!!
Wow a rare find they don’t build them like that anymore.
If I could afford it I would not change a single thing!
I hear you!!!
Just drive up the 215 get away from summerlin. You get a awesome house, alot cheaper, and still your a 10 minute drive away..
It's hilarious to hear someone in their mid 40s say " let's fricking go" ,as well as multiple "frickings"
😂
Beautiful house! Too bad that style/vibe doesn't exist in Vegas (or anywhere else) anymore

Beautiful home, if I had the cash you would be selling me this home
You and me both!
One of your best videos ever, you weren't the only one hyperventilating 😂
Good video, next time less panting, kinda creepy.
😂
The home is beautiful, but it looked even better with you in it. We need to get you in there.
Show the home and NOT her, dang!
😂
Looks like an average home
I would ove to see what kind of homes are not average for you. 😊
Enough with the freaking.
😂
You are so cute!
LOL. Thank you!
Your hyperventilating couldn’t allow me to watch this to the end. Wacky realtor. Chill out
