Thanks for you videos., I’m 22 and my dad passed suddenly last month ... had to get my cdl to keep from losing my dads truck and support me n my mom .... I have trouble backing into very tight spaces like loading dock and some truck stops that are cramped ... watching your vids really helped any other backing tips or tricks would really help .... thank you
My girlfriend and I team. We watched your videos yesterday for about two hours to help her fine tune her backing skills. I recommend you to lots of people. Your helping more people than you know. 👍👍
Man I went out with a trainer and even the low budget CDL school mill I went too many years ago before I even started driving I learned more watching your videos keep up the good job and wish I could have got this good training you offer on here
I'm going to a horrible school as well, they gave us 4 weeks to learn before they made our DMV apt my first week I learned a straight back, my second week all the trucks broke, the third week,it rained and we didn't get to do school 4th week learned an offset but had DMV apt failed my skills smh I'm learning more off these videos too.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR PERSONAL TIME TO DO THESE VIDEOS. Extremely helpful, very detailed. Hands down best channel for helping truckers out. GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER
Thx for the lovely words. And there will be lots more to come to help out new drivers. Eventually I will do this full time. I work 60 hours a week right now, rbut a lot of things to do videos.
I find most backing videos focus on how doing it as a pro is done. It’s great!!! But there isn’t enough for what I suspect is the target group, rookies. How about a few with pull ups etc? It’s different doing it and watching it. Thick either way...great vids!!!
Great video again David. Can you do more tight backing videos? I've had to back into some shippers in SoCal with very little space, I've almost hit a wall a couple of times
My english ist Not good more but thanks a Lot it was really Praktik as German Lessons about Truck driving school . Thanks a Lot and have a good weekend
David , plz make this most imp. & hardest backing again with tractor in front of trailor, this is what truckers from whole USA are facing now a days, because of new law of ELECTRONIC log there is no easy spot left in rest areas to park.
@My Trucking Skills Can u do a video of backing into a spot where u have plenty of space on both sides but short space ahead and no guide lines on the pavement?
For some reason when I want to set up my 45 degree back then it ends up looking more like a 30 degree back in this video. Not sure what I’m doing wrong
You also need to practice not to fish tail when backing (truck going to left then right then left then right). Meaning when you are about to be straight, when going in reverse you need make sure your steer tires are nearly straight right before you are perfectly straight. This happens about with a 28 for trl.

How do u do this videos ? Lol that’s really skillful man ,, 👍🏻
I learned a new skill in the process
For some reason when I want to set up my 45 degree back then it ends up looking more like a 30 degree back in this video. Not sure what I’m doing wrong
Why don’t you teach to move tandem back to eliminate tail swing.
How do you know that I haven't done that already?
If you turn right the trailer moves to the right , that's the trick ?
If you turn right the front for the trailer goes right, rotating or pointing the trailer to the left.
@@MyTruckingSkills Thanks bro.
what kind of camera you use for you videos
+Marvin Lopez For the top view I use a DJI Mavic Air drone and I use 4 GoPro's for the others.
My Trucking Skills wait.. I thought it was a simulator
Not a simulator, just kids of cameras and editing!!
Chasing it , what do mean you ?
To straighten up the truck and trailer.
Thanks ,luv the angles ,keep it up
New student here ..i am strugling backing a 28 foot trailer..i thought would be easier but is not..
Ya, so much harder to control when backing
You need to do a lot less steering when backing up.
@@MyTruckingSkills wow thankyou so much. God bless you.i will do just that and let you know..
