@@anthonyjimenez9231 when it first dropped I thought of it just as a shameless reach copy, but watching this video and others years later almost make me want to play the game. I'll still say it's a reach copy, but a good reach copy.
I only just noticed this, even after finishing the campaign twice: When Ferran and Reyes are talking the corpsman goes over to tend to Ethan and to see if his functionality’s been impaired. That’s a really nice show of how much SATO cares about its troops, even the handsome robot ones.
During my current playthrough I noticed that. Omar was originally cold to Ethan then after getting to know Ethan and considers him a member of their team
I watched the "You're my brother" scene somewhere and almost cried, though I never played the game. Watching this now makes him one of the best characters I've seen.
You get attached to him and spoilers he sacrificed himself in the end you hack into him like the other robots and self destruct him in the core of the enemy ship nick the chapter you play as didn’t want to do it you heard pain in his voice but Ethan insisted it still hurts
Is it just me , Or did everyone think infinite warfare was going to have a shit campaign but it ended up making me get feels when Ethan (E3N) was in space? This is an epic campaign filled with action I don't care what you say , it's good in my opinion.
It was great. Great message, good characters, dog fighting was awesome. But people Decided it was bad before it came out, so it didn't have much of a chance.
The campaign was shit, they tried to make you take it seriously when it was probably the least serious game ever, they gave an extremely unrealistic setting, and somehow managed to make being a war hero an unenjoyable experience, yes, I did play the campaign, and I disliked it with a passion, COD used to be a realistic title, modern warfare, however unlikely the surviveablilty, it still tried to make it realistic.
your average doge meme lord “used to be a realistic title” Bo1 MW3 Bo2 Bo3 Have some of the most unrealistic campaigns ever, and out of the 4 only one of them was good, get off your high horse lmfaooooo

I never said anything about those games, and frankly I believe the COD games became shit when the people who made respawn left.
This is quite possibly one of cods greatest campaigns, definitely deserves a spot in the cod hall of fame those audio logs at the end of the campaign had me crying my eyes out
The saddest thing I experienced was Ethan holding Reyes in his arms while they drifted off into space and when Ethan got scared. He thought Reyes was dead :(
InSovietCS his ai is still in coopers helmet, there was a scene at the end of the credits which shows coopers helmet flashing. That flashing is BT saying “JACK?” in binary code
BT-7274 had such a great voice, I yurned for every voice line he had. Ethan was hilarious and I loved seeing him execute an enemy then crack a joke. Why do they always have to kill off my favorite characters? BTW why didn't Reyes grab the hatch when he bumped into the ship in the end or just try to grab onto it in some way instead of suffocating.
Ethan: Be advised, there have been incidents with the automation on these C12's Brooks: What kind of incidents? Ethan: There's intel they turn on their squadmates unpredictably in battle. Kash: Holy sh*t, is that true?! Ethan: NO 😂

13:23 "Dauntless Valor Ethan" "Boundless terror captain" Most people would have taken the compliment as not many people would know how to feel after such a shock to the system like that, but Ethan knows his feelings better then any human being I met, and cares more for being genuine rather then prideful. We need more Ethan's in life.
ExtractGamer me too... I was even more sad, when he asked Reyes to perform self-destruct on him and that he was ready for it. If I was a player, I would seriously hesitate in performing self-destruction on him
For someone like Ethan, he's really getting offended and discriminated for being a Robot. His soldiers don't respect, don't treat him like an equal, it's pretty sad how this MIGHT be the future in a few years. Ethan is a good soldier, follows orders, and has one hell of a personality.
@@X3H3X And... I mean, robots are... much stronger than humans, I mean. I'm pretty sure Ethan could crush someone's windpipe with his bare, mechanical hands without too much struggle
I’m thinking about the future and how AI will be viewed culturally. An incident like what you just described (where an AI plays a pivotal role in combat and develops strong bonds with the team before dying but is not included in any memorial) would have a catastrophic effect on all the soldiers involved and would be a major turning point in how AI are treated. You would have the entire military demanding change in response to the pleas of frontline troops. I’m moved by this story and I’m sure I’m not alone.
Far as I'm aware, his suit was damaged hence the crack. Furthermore, I don't think people need to be reminded that space is a very hazardous environment, yes? You can freeze and explode without a suit and any form of damage to your suit can kill you. Heck, bits of dust in space can punch through space shuttles.
Ethan Clayton Bioshock is a great series dude the thinker was the guy talking to you and they gave it your voice the guy talking is the big daddy or you that was a plot twist
Years later and I am still salty that such a nice campain is stuck in a game so hated ;_; Like legit, if this game had a different title, it would be loved by millions.
I like how Omar didn't like working with a robot at first, like he seemed almost racist about it, then once E3N proves himself he's like "This soldier is one of us"
I loved the character growth between Omar and Ethan. Initially he was skeptical about Ethan at best until Ethan potentially saved his life when he kicked that trooper through the glass. After that Omar and Ethan had a completely different dynamic. I wish we could get a sequel but that will never happen. This game will just be lost to the history books and frankly that makes me quite sad.
6:30 Reminds me so much of Captain Price in COD4 telling you to get up and go except he doesn't even say a word he just deflects space debris and then pulls you up without a word, concerned with the team's safety, and doing his job like it's nothing. Ethan is such a badass.

Blugale Doh Ethan. He says that when you walk up to him at the base on Mars before the final mission starts
I only just noticed this, even after finishing the campaign twice: When Ferran and Reyes are talking the corpsman goes over to tend to Ethan and to see if his functionality’s been impaired. That’s a really nice show of how much SATO cares about its troops, even the handsome robot ones.

I watched the "You're my brother" scene somewhere and almost cried, though I never played the game. Watching this now makes him one of the best characters I've seen.
I also want to cry a little
You get attached to him and spoilers he sacrificed himself in the end you hack into him like the other robots and self destruct him in the core of the enemy ship nick the chapter you play as didn’t want to do it you heard pain in his voice but Ethan insisted it still hurts
I watched it and wanted to tear up then when I stuck around to his death scene my nose started to hurt and my eyes began to swell up.

For someone like Ethan, he's really getting offended and discriminated for being a Robot. His soldiers don't respect, don't treat him like an equal, it's pretty sad how this MIGHT be the future in a few years. Ethan is a good soldier, follows orders, and has one hell of a personality.

I loved the character growth between Omar and Ethan. Initially he was skeptical about Ethan at best until Ethan potentially saved his life when he kicked that trooper through the glass. After that Omar and Ethan had a completely different dynamic. I wish we could get a sequel but that will never happen. This game will just be lost to the history books and frankly that makes me quite sad.
in all honesty i want an E3N operator at some point in cod just because he was and lovable badass
"I understand the conflict, captain. I'm ready. I promise."
6:30 Reminds me so much of Captain Price in COD4 telling you to get up and go except he doesn't even say a word he just deflects space debris and then pulls you up without a word, concerned with the team's safety, and doing his job like it's nothing. Ethan is such a badass.
