Infinite warfare is honestly the most underrated COD. Yeah it had a shitty multiplayer, but the campaign was good and zombies was honestly really good too
The coolest part of this is Ethan actively disobeying you and tearing you out of the cockpit. He knows you're being a cowboy and overrides you, blows the hatch and rips you out of the Jackal, and it saves your life. Fucking E3N dude
Not even going to lie, being a call of duty fan for over a decade now, call of duty has some boring or terrible campaigns. But this is one of the best we’ve had.
Man the relationship that Ethan and Reyes have is just one of the best in the COD franchise, this game may have been bad but it had a great campaign and amazing characters
on the positive side, technically they can bring "him" back. presumably he transmitted his memories to his creators to assist them in building better robots, and there'd be data from the ships logs and Nora's own memories of him. as there are other E3N robots, they could then just implant the data into one of those and this robot would then behave very similarly to the previous E3N.

I think E3N's behavior in what appeared to be inescapable death was the programming of his creators - SATO soldiers have all enlisted voluntarily to defend earth, presumably earning them a great deal of respect - if E3N is unable to do anything further to protect his crew, it would make sense that he would be programmed to ensure a soldier's last moments were as easy and dignified as possible.

I've never had Infinite Warfare, but this is truly sad. Knowing I lost a family member in my life, this is what reminds me of. Me and my grandma that I had. This is really emotional.
It's a great game and while they both survive this situation, they don't survive the game. They sacrifice themselves so that what's left of their crew can escape and blow up the enemy's shipyard. Ethan self-destructs to blow up the docking mechanism while Reyes is blown out into space and hit by debris that breaks his helmet, suffocating him. During the credits there's a series of letters from the dead crew to their families and in his, Ethan talks about how proud he is to have served with Reyes and how he finally knows what it's like to have a family, referencing Reyes calling Ethan his brother. For what it's worth, they DO get their revenge for this in the end: Reyes leads an assault on that ship that left him and Ethan stranded in space. He kills the captain who is the game's main bad guy and hijacks that giant ship for himself. While using it to attack the enemy's shipyard, Reyes leaves Ethan in control of it while he goes outside to defend the ship from attackers. Sadly, both ships are destroyed in the process, but they continue the mission until the shipyard is gone. Out of 767 crewmembers, only 4 survived the game.
That would be pretty cool idea to show that even those that we look up to can still die just like us and they don't just go out in a epic way but also a normal way a way that could happen to me you or anyone else
I had said it when the game came out and now, it has one of the best COD campaigns period. And the greatest emotional attachment besides the BO1 journey. Fantastic story!

In a lesser game/movie they would have given Ethan some disgusting human like robo-face to make that moment more emotional. I like that he looks like a robot and not some repulsive abomination like a transformer with nose and mouth. They made that scene emotional through Ethan's personality, music and Reyes treating him like a fellow inteligent creature. Something like this is quite rare, i liked that.
People probably don't remember, but most of the hate for this game came from the fact that the suits at Activision had the bright idea of locking away Modern Warfare Remastered behind the premium version of Infinite Warfare. People hated the game before it came out, but the devs did a solid job on the campaign.
To date IW has had one of the best cod campaigns, it was cinematically amazing, the story may have been a bit too future planet elitist but it made for an actual brand new concept in terms of amazing framing device.
I'm pretty sure it was due to budgetary/time limits, a large air leak would require editing of the model, to produce a visible tear in the suit, a smaller tear just requires a spurt of air effect popping out from the arm. I don't know really, I'm just guessing.
I always thought that the air leak seen was the bit of leaking that couldn’t be covered. Almost like plugging a leaking fish tank with your hand, but even though you’ve plugged the majority of it, there’s still a small slit that can’t be plugged. Going through the cracks of fingers, or something. Oxygen is a fluid, so all it really needs is a crack large enough for a molecule of o2 to go through.
@@jasonfenton8250 air would still leak out with a hand over it, just not as fast. Much like blood it would flood through the gaps between your fingers, and small gaps between your skin/hand and the actual suit. Most likely there might also be a puncture on the back of the suit as well.
Actually, the air presure in that suit vs the vacum of space is kinda hard to control, the only way to stop the air leak was Ethan crushing Reyes'es hand. If you'd be in the vacum of space, in the first second, all the gases in your body will get out instantly, in a way or another...
The one scene that had me feeling anything through this campaign. No, not sad, smiling because it's pretty good. (And cheesy because of Ethan's character)

Even though this is a 7 year old video, i still cant stop watching this and just see how much infinity ward cared for this game and how great they made their characters and personality. E3N and Reyes bonding together like brothers is so well done and how both of them cared for each other, thats good character development right there... and i was extremely surprised when E3N said that he was scared while they were floating in space just waiting for their demise to happen, its actually interesting to see a machine have such human emotions. And to see him sacrifice himself to save his comrades was just heartbreaking to watch.... and its also sad that Reyes also met his fate as well. Both died like real men, and i respect it. @@jasonfenton8250 air would still leak out with a hand over it, just not as fast. Much like blood it would flood through the gaps between your fingers, and small gaps between your skin/hand and the actual suit. Most likely there might also be a puncture on the back of the suit as well.
Actually, the air presure in that suit vs the vacum of space is kinda hard to control, the only way to stop the air leak was Ethan crushing Reyes'es hand. If you'd be in the vacum of space, in the first second, all the gases in your body will get out instantly, in a way or another...
The one scene that had me feeling anything through this campaign.

Even though this is a 7 year old video, i still cant stop watching this and just see how much infinity ward cared for this game and how great they made their characters and personality. E3N and Reyes bonding together like brothers is so well done and how both of them cared for each other, thats good character development right there... and i was extremely surprised when E3N said that he was scared while they were floating in space just waiting for their demise to happen, its actually interesting to see a machine have such human emotions. And to see him sacrifice himself to save his comrades was just heartbreaking to watch.... and its also sad that Reyes also met his fate as well. Both died like real men, and i respect it. If y'all disagree then its fine
