Cayde-6 is a great character. He's genuinely funny and he tries to pose as somewhat of a tough guy, but he also cares a lot about his friends. He has a hidden sense of honor and moral code behind his persona as a roguish type.

Wakon Yes. I haven't forgotten in the missing we collect the soul of Crota. The moment we became visible his main concern was getting us out no matter what Eris said. It didn't matter how much of Crotas soul we had his priority was getting us out.

And his backstory definitely screams out that Cayde is depressed and his funny self is just a persona

They should add a new Adventure to the EDZ where you go on a mission to save the Colonel (Cayde's pet chicken). Make it as absurd as possible, have our Guardians fight through an army of Fallen- including Pikes and Walkers- using the Drake tank to retrieve a "valuable asset" at Cayde's request, only to find the chicken sitting in a Fallen force field, guarded by Randal the Vandal.
Much wisdom in this. Bungie would do best to listen.

When you find the vanguard all beat up at the end of the game if you wait like 5min before going through the portal Cayde will keep saying your ruining the moment by not leaving lol. Just another hidden Cayde dialogue (Also do the side quests! so much funnier then the main storyline)

I had the giggles for the rest of the mission when that played out. Nathan Fillian freakin' ROCKS!! :)
Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres...easily the best thing about the game is characters played by them on screen together.

I love cayde-6's happiness all the time during serious times thats why he is my favorite character
I still love the attack on the city cutscene. Always have, always will. The idea of a unified effort between Human, awoken, exo, redjack, guardian or not... it's awesome. I just wish we could see more of the background forces duking it out with the cabal, either in the cutscene or even during the mission when we join the attack.
Imagine we approach a courtyard or something and we run into Shaxx, Arcite and their team being pinned down by cabal snipers or something, or before we get to the spot where the vanguard are fucked up, we meet Zavala, Ikora and Cayde, kind of like in the first mission, where they're fighting in different sections of the tower.
May get it in a different way with our alliance with House Light and the Cabal Empress against the Witness

That finale to the red war where all the guardians link up with one another was single handedly one of the best ending missions in my opinion. I remember people that weren’t in on fire teams holding position and moving as a full group.
