- There's a new foundation in town and it's grabbing everyone's attention. Her name is, L'Oreal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum. There are only 10 shades, but each shade caters to at least 2-3 skin tones. This supposedly is the first tinted serum with 1% hyaluronic acid that instantly brightens, evens skin tone and hydrates throughout the day. The real test is how well this skin tint applies, performs and wears throughout the day. This skin tint is currently sold out in many retailers so check out L’Oréal’s website where you can find it near you or online in your shade.

I am 77 years old and used many different foundation products. This product is by far the best I have ever used. For the best coverage use your fingers, next coverage is sponge and for lease coverage use a brush
People who use this foundation make sure your skin is properly hydrated (even better if it is a bit Damp) Hyaluronic acid is not a moisturizer or a hydrators, it is a humectant meaning that it attracts water so if you use it on dry skin and skin that has no water or the weather is too dry it will actually pulll water from deeper layers of your skin to bind it in outer layers making your skin look odd and can cause severe irritation. Remember Hyaluronic acid is a 6hr thing, it does not create lasting effects, your fine lines will come back and has nothing to do with Collagen or Elastin which are the properties proteins in skin. Alcohol here works as a penetration enhancers

Not at all. I don't use makeup myself but I do like skin care. I am a medical doctor but not a Dermatologist however I do read up a lot and I have very sensitive skin myself so I always check ingredients in products etc so little by little I have learned a few things and try to shed some light sometimes to some people
You answer all my concerns
I tried it by itself when it first came out (and before it went viral) and absolutely loved it. I'm 46 with mature skin, fine lines and dry patches due to tretinoin and this was absolute heaven on my skin. Didn't settle into my smile lines and forehead lines like other foundations do within minutes. It took hours before that happened! When I need this to go a bit longer, a bit "harder" for special occasions, I mix it in with another amazing L'Oreal foundation, the Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation. Perfection too on my dry mature skin.
Thank you for your comment! I've had this foundation in my hands at least half a dozen times but put it down before buying. I'm 47 with mature, dry skin, fine lines, and some deeper lines/creases emerging.
@@summerdais325 I think you will like it! I'm not big on full coverage foundations so this is perfect. I do set the forehead and smile lines with a bit of powder fyi. Mixing it with a long wear foundation is my go to for long days or special events when I need a bit more long wear/medium-full coverage.
Thank You for that info. I am almost 56 and do not like full coverage makeup at all. Natural, clean looks are what I am after. Will see if any of this is at my local shops.

Im a big fan of serum foundations and this one did not disappoint. I live in Texas and wore this 3 times to gatherings on very hot summer days (99 degrees). It makes you GLOW in a way of enhancing your natural skin. It blends beautifully, it settles beautifully, and STAYS beautifully. I do use the Laura mercier powder in honey and milani long wear setting spray. I haven’t felt this good about a foundation in a long time. I actually think it’s worth the price tag. It looks stunning on you!
I was super impressed with this foundation. Everything looks super dry on me, but this gave good coverage and and wore well. Even with a mask, it didn't really rub off or look weird on the couple places it did compared to everywhere else. I also have a LOT of redness. It's even helping those pesky dark spots to lighten. Awesome foundation if you like lighter coverage.
This is the first serum foundation I didn’t find the need to set (except for my T zone) plus as time went on it actually sinks in and looks better. I use my fingers to apply and use concealer for little problem areas that are more difficult to cover. Very impressed with this product! ❤️
This is my absolute favorite foundation EVER! It’s absolutely beautiful on my 44 year old skin!!
I wear it alone as well as mixing it into other foundations. It has “saved” other foundations that I wasn’t thrilled with. I even bought a darker shade range to use to darken foundations that are too light.

I purchased The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid and just add it to my foundation. I also put some hyaluronic on my face after wash as prep
I do the same thing! I just add it to whatever foundation I wear for the day!

I am 44 years old and this is the best foundation I have ever used! Barely feels like anything on the face. I use a brush to apply it.

I just got this! It was hard to find a shade because it’s sold out everywhere. I definitely don’t like the smell but it goes away fast. Good for light makeup days!
It's only $14.99 at Walmart which is where I found mine! I didn't notice any smell with mine and I love it for natural makeup days

This is my favorite foundation and I have mix oily skin and texture from having acne before and this does a beautiful job on my skin I just love it. I do apply with my fingers and I pat it in not rub it around.
Have you ever tried applying those droppers to a palette or the back of your hand? It makes it easier to control how much you apply and less waste. Just a suggestion. Thx for the review!
Yeah. I don’t know why people drop product on their face like that. It makes zero sense to me.
I use this, I've never noticed a scent. I love it and I switched from Tarte. I'm really happy with it, at 61 I have mature skin but it's very well taken care of. This is light, but it gives a nice even coverage with a nice glow. I would recommend.

I can't wait to review the lightest shade myself in a few days when I finally get it! I love glowy light-med coverage foundations 🥰 even tho I am in my 30s and have oily dehydrated skin. The Tarte Hydroflex Serum foundation is one of my current favs oh and the new version of the Milk Makeup Sunshine SPF skin tint. Both beautiful. Time will tell! Not a fan of alcohol scent tho 🤔
I absolutely love this one! My skin is combination/oily and this holds for hours and hours! On my skin before i have to powder, especially on those days i use a setting spray, when i want it to last even longer, i do use a beauty blender, simply because i hate using my fingers when it comes to anything foundation like, and also because i think it looks best that way.
i'm getting married next weekend and this will definitely be the one i'm gonna be using.

Love this foundation .lt looks & feels so lightweight, like you're not even wearing foundation. It blends & lasts all day making skin very nice, not too matte, but not shiny. I am in my 60s with dry skin. I use very little Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil from the Ordinary. I think it's about $7 or $8. & is lightweight, not greasy. Great stuff, try it.

Thank you for mentioning the denatured alcohol smell I immediately went to check the ingredients lost and one of the first ingredients is alc. Denatured. This can be beehive sensitizing.

Hi Milabu, love your videos! Helpful hint on acne that works for me. Use acne medicine of your choice followed with a tiny bit of Neosporin and it makes it heal and disappear quickly and reduces the inflammation almost immediately.

Does this oxidize? I was gonna grab it in 2/3 but the thought hmmm if it oxides I'll grab the lighter even though it may be too light.
I bet that hyaluronic acid helped the pimple come to a head much easier, considering it absorbs moisture form the air as well as your skin, in order to protect it as best it can. I found it does the same thing to my own skin, when used as a "primer." As annoying as this might sound, it's super helpful IMO, and gets things out of the way much faster. :)

This serum/foundation lasts all day goes on evenly and nicely, not glooby You feel as though you havent anything on your face and it covers the skin well, looks dewy and evens tone. Sometimes I mix it with another product so it is slightly darker in spring and summer. I love it and will wear it from now on. It's a serum too so nourishes your skin. Would really recommend.

It is definitely not for sensitive, eczema prone skin like mine. Denatured alcohol is very high on the ingredient list. That would cause me a patchy flare-up. 😢

Hi Milana, I do like the coverage that you got and still throughout the day! But the fragrance in a foundation I can't deal with and for that I would have to give this foundation a miss 😩. Fragrance free products is what I use 💕.

I have been wearing it a few days and find it is drying anyone having this issue. It goes on nice but my face feels so dry not dewy at alll
@Milabu Milabu hey there! I’m just curious if you started to use this product a lot and if it ended up giving you a highly negative effect on drying out your skin with daily use. I looked at the ingredient list and alcohol denat is very very high up on the list. At least the 3rd or 4th ingredient. Alcohol at this amount can tend to dry out the skin when used consistently but I just wanted to confirm whether or not you found this to be true in your experience with this product, 3 months later. Plse let me know! Thx 💕

This is beautiful on you. The shade range is strange. L’Oréal makes this in a pump and available in Canada and Europe. I ordered one bottle and it shipped from England, shade isn’t absolutely correct though as it was hard to chose shade via internet.

I have this and LOVE the color, don’t notice a scent, but strangely it dries out my skin. I wish it was a dewy finish. It is pretty matte!
Hyaluronic acid has one job drawings moisture in,but if there's no moisture in the air or around you it will suck the moisture right out of your skin. you can dampen your face a little bit and Prime and moisturize very well. some climates this product just wont work this one girl I know she can't use hydronic acid, she went to a dermatologist because of eye irritation. it was sucking the moisture out of her eyeballs!!! because there was no other moisture around.

In my opinion, it makes you look older. I am not sure why. I think it's only with the second application? But I have a feeling if someone in their 50s or 60s uses it, they will look younger. Very interesting texture and look. Thanks for trying it for us.

I'm curious why you smell alcohol in the bottle that you have as I never smell alcohol in mine and I've watched five other reviews on this product and none of them could smell any fragrance of any kind. I hope you didn't get a bad bottle

I think you're talking about the true match foundation, this video is about true match nude hyaluronic serum.
I wanted to like it but it felt gritty when I rubbed it in and it made my skin feel tight because of the alcohol content
Do you notice that L'Oreal foundation shades have gotten darker?
I just bought this a few days ago. Love the product, but not the dropper. You can't put it back in the bottle easily without making a mess on the neck of the bottle. Luckily, I had an old bottle of Cover Girl with a pump that fit perfectly. L'Oreal!! Please re-think that dropper.

I never have issue with fragrances, I guess it’s good to some degree 😅. Anyway that’s too expensive for drugstore foundation. It’s a no for me and I can’t stand using fingers to apply makeup. Thank you for sharing!

Is this similar to the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint?
Ilia is very dewy. Your skin will have a sheen to it.
I have both this and the Ilia Skin Tint and they are NOT similar at all. The L’Oreal tint is thinner than the Ilia Skin Tint, and it’s also drier in that it sets faster than the Ilia Skin Tint. It’s probably because of the alcohol in the product. It has more of a natural-matte finish, whereas the Ilia Skin Tint is super radiant. Of course, Ilia’s skin care properties are better, so it makes sense that is super dewey, but I prefer the L’Oreal Tint as a combo/oily girl. I use Ilia Skin Tint on my drier days, when my skin feels tight and flakey. Hope this helped!
She could have gone for only the lighter colour. The darker shade is too dark for her.

Honestly, the hyped products are ticking me off. That crappy powder foundation from loreal ticked me off. I looked like a zombie with it on (but surprisingly good on zoom with it tbh). But I still caved and bought this stuff a month back. It is now my every day foundation. 100%. I love this stuff. And I am picky and don't mind paying. I had the Tarte foundation as my MVP for a while then they reformulated. This is def the new best foundation.

For me, this felt heavier on my skin. If not heavy, I could FEEL makeup on my skin. It never felt like it settled, kind of remained sticky. I much prefer the Wet 'n' Wild tinted hydrator

Yeah, well, Hyaluronic acid is not a moisturizer, it is a humectant, so you have to apply a moisturizer and/or moisturizer sunscreen type like the one from Beauty of joseon and than apply the foundation if u wanna a moisturizer skin.
I think with that price point I'll stick with Ilia's serum foundation
