Aye it's a fantastic viewpoint down Glen Elchaig. There's a village called Killilan at the foot of the glen, but it's around the corner, and a few miles further down. I love how remote it is, and would love a wee house beside that loch. Cheers.
You're putting out some great videos Andy. Was up that Glen last June bikepacking, had back wheel failure just down from I.Lo. on way back ! Local young keeper helped me out, then coach to Inverness for new wheel. Track and path from Totaig to Glenelg was fun, then over to southern Skye. Look forward to your future trips. ATB.
Thanks. It's such a lovely glen this time of year, so lush. Yeah it's a long way back if the bike breaks. I'm hoping to go back there this winter for a wee cycle to Iron Lodge and back, to see what the glen is like covered in snow, should be nice. Hopefully the track isn't too slippery. Cheers.
Thanks Kevin, a fine day indeed. The view down into Glen Elchaig from Aonach Buidhe, with the summer greens on show, was fantastic. I had to just sit there on the grassy slopes for a while soaking it in. Cheers, Andy.
Amazing weather again Andy and some fantastic views. Just got a gopro hero 10 second hand Andy! Looking forward to giving it a wee go! Cheers again. Paul
Nice. I've only upgraded to mine a few weeks ago, but it's been great so far. Though I do need to carry a few spare batteries, it fairly chomps through them. Cheers.
Cheers Frank. Aye, great weather, was the last good day of that last weather window. Really nice long glen for a bike ride when the summer greens are out, lush, and quite flat most the way. Cheers.
Awesome trail! With so much beauty nature provides, I have a hard time wondering why anyone would want to do anything else with their free time. You captured this trail beautifully.👌👌👌
Hi Andy this looks a good troupe I will use this approach next year as I have a Munro top on lurg mhor to do and I want to do this Corbett it looks like a nice approach different from the other routes I have done into this area cheers
It's a great approach, I love this glen, really scenic in good weather. Good track too, easy to cycle and a joy on the way out. I did a time-lapse video of the entire cycle out, if you want to see the entire track, Glen Elchaig Cycle.
Hi Andy, I just commented on one of your other videos earlier haha. How far in is the cycle? And do you get nervous about abandoning the bike? I guess most people into the outdoors aren't the sort to try and cycle away with it. Might give this a go next week.
Hi Fraser, I think it was about 15km each way. Nice easy track though, with not too much elevation. Yeah, it's fine to leave the bike in the wild, no-one would take it, and it's always padlocked anyways. If you want to see the entire track, I did a 4K time-lapse of my cycle back out, from Iron Lodge to Killilan. ua-cam.com/video/rtCCV4Z6Spg/v-deo.html . Glen Elchaig is beautiful, especially this time of year.
Thanks yes I watched the Timelapse looks good have a great Xmas
Great hike! Beautiful trail and stunning views! 10:09 Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Hong Kong!

Gorgeous view at 16:13! only thing missing is a small village at the bottom :p

Aye, a lovely day out. Cheers.
Beautiful film, thanks 😊
Thanks John, it's a beautiful glen. ATB, Andy.
Brilliant Andy. A fine day on 2 cracking Corbetts. Aonach Buidhe is one of my favourites. We done it from Maol Bhuidhe Bothy.

Thanks Ervin. It's good to be outdoors, a natural high, especially when the weather is this good. ATB, Andy.
