Nice 1 Frank and Dave. So glad the clag cleared for the second munro. My heart was in my mouth when you had that wee stumble on the ridge. Great drone shots as always. Lovely Hike mate ATB Tam.
Hi Tam, yeh that was always the forecast to clear later on. Once it did start to clear the views to the 2nd munro were pretty special. Yeh got to be on yer guard at all times esp at the tricky bits. Glad I had the drone as the scenery everywhere was spectacular.👍 Cheers Tam ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
Cheers Alistair, yeh just as I got past the trickiest bit and you relax a bit😆 on guard all the time👍 Thanks for watching Alistair, appreciated. ATB Frank👍🏔🥾
Thanks Charles, it certainly got better as the day went on, nice scrambly bits on the ridge heading for 2nd munro, as easy or hard as you want. I thought it was a fantastic area and really enjoyed the day.👍 Thanks for watching. ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
Hi Frank, Great that the views opened a bit once you started along the ridge. The second top is a bonnie hill and a bit different with the ridge access. Cheers, Charlie.
Cheers Charlie, yeh I was glad the views opened because that was some sight the ridge up to the 2nd munro. And what views when you reached the summit.👍 ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
Enjoying following your journey round the munro's Frank ! That was a cracking ridge walk in Kintail, I will have to give it a go sometime! I very much appreciate the time and effort yourself and the rest of the guys put into downloading these trips on You Tube. They are far and away better than some of the rubbish on tv nowadays.
Thanks for following my journey Andrew, I’m really enjoying getting out as much as I can. What a spectacular country we live in and up in kintail is so beautiful. That ridge walk was special especially the views as we approached the 2nd munro. You would love it Andrew. Sometimes it’s a faff filming with all the gear but 99% of the time I enjoy it. Just back from a 47km hike in the cairngorms doing Ben Avon & Beinn a Bhuid so that’ll be the next vid, hope you enjoy that, 11hrs 15 mins and that was using the bikes.🤣🤣 Thanks again for watching & commenting. ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
Class video Frank😁..The ridge looks so amazing..Drone footage awesome as usual and The Kiss from Last of the Mohicans is such a great tune for the mountains😍..Suberb video mate. Cheers Robert
Thanks Robert, the ridge is one of the best I’ve been on for a while, esp heading up to 2nd munro.👍 yeh I thought last of the Mohican’s fitted well there.🎶👍 thanks again Robert.👍 ATB Frank👍🏔🥾
Glad it cleared en route to Mullach Fraoch - Choire, looked like a nice ridge walk Frank 🏔 my kinda walk 👍 shit 💩 path down by the look of things 😨 some nice drone footage on the walk out 👍 quite a long day 9hrs 😲 I'm guessing the weather played a big part 🌞 Superb Frank atb Brian 👍
Cheers Brian, was worried it wasn’t going to clear as it was beautiful going thru Glen Coe etc until we reached kintail which was covered in clag everywhere. After the initial slog we reached the 1st munro, then we could see it starting to clear, after that it was a superb ridge walk especially up to the 2nd munro with fantastic views everywhere. That seems to be the norm these days brian, somewhere between 9-11 hrs🤣🤣 long walk back as always Brian just a bit squelchy at times. Thanks for the watch & comments mate. ATB Frank.👍🏔🥾
Nice one guys! Claggy start but turned out pretty bonnie! They dreaded wee midges!, I'm well impressed with that craggy ridge! You caught it well with the drone shots. I liked the wee pre cuillin scramble practice. Was there a wee path just below? Great wee adventure again. Might try and get these with Andy when he is up! Adios. Paulo
Cheers paul, yeh claggy to start and midgie infested until wee reached the ridge. When the clouds started to part the views were superb, couldn’t take my eyes of the ridge that leads to the 2nd munro. Yeh just some light scrambling to get my hands and feet working in tandem again.🤣🤣 there’s a fine path all the way up to the 2nd munro. Personally I thought it was a better ridge walk than the 5 sisters, you’ll love it with Andy when he’s up. Cheers again mate, Franko.👍🏔🥾
Nice one Frank and Dave. Me and Bertie boy just watched from our air bnb in Aviemore. Look very craggy in places and exposure! Great drone footage. Especially the backwards and downwards shot! Was that filmed the other way and then put in reverse?? Impressive stuff ! 👍
Cheers Andrew & Brett. It was a beautiful ridge walk especially the last bit up to the 2nd munro, nothing difficult at all. Would defo recommend this walk👍 The drone shot was filmed when I looked back up to the 1st munro and saw the clag clearing. Was a bit away so decided to fly the drone back up to film it, then I thought it might look better coming back down from the summit to where I was, so I just reversed the footage in post. How was your day.?
@@hikingwithfrank315 that drone footage was just 👌. Got the to car park and weather wasn’t looking good so took our chance on maybe Sunday or Monday. Went to alt mor car park and biked to green Lochan and hung about there for a bit. Beautiful spot. Then biked up to the bothy and hung about there for a bit as well. Nice relaxing day and enjoying the outdoors. Weather turned out not to bad. Hopefully 3 tomorrow ! 👍
@@andrewsadventures5747 that’s a pity you never got it. The green lochan is a lovely area as you know Andrew, it’s a lovely pit stop en route to Bynack Mor. Hopefully the weather is good for the laggan 3👍☀️🙏
Glad the views opened up en-route to the 2nd one.The ridge ahead looks fantastic from there.Put your email address in here Frank and I'll send the route for the other one to uou.😃👍
