- On this trip, I headed out to the Loyalsock State Forest to hike the Loyalsock Link Loop. Beginning from the Dutchman falls trailhead this hike is approximately 27 miles. This trail offers a little bit of everything from water features to views and many nice campsites. This is one of my favorite overnight trips in the State of Pennsylvania and it is sure not to disappoint.
We've stayed in the cabins there many times. It was our Christmas tradition to spend a week there for the holiday. They're solid CCC built cabins, with woodstoves, refrigerators and stoves. Each one is individual, so every trip is a different experience!
That sounds awesome, thanks for the information.
Awesome video. It looks so pretty there! New here can’t wait to see more videos!!
Thank you. That area is one of my favorites. Hope you enjoy the videos and more are on the way.
My son and I are going there this week.....but i was looking and most posts say it is only 18 miles.
If you start where I did at the end of loyalsock Trail it's the mileage I said in the video. I've tracked it on garmin multiple times. If you start somewhere on the actual loop and do that it will be less. It's a few miles each way on the tail section if you start where I do.
Lollipop it's called 🤙🏾
That's it. Haha
Im only familiar with the 20 mile circle loop. How do you turn it into 27?
I started at the Dutchman falls trailhead. I think the shorter loop you are talking about starts at the iron bridge.
@@HikeIntoTheSunset okay so yours looked more like a lolly pop woth the stick going south east? I started in the north west corner of worlds end basically off cabin bridge road i believe.
