- Dad and me work on an abandoned restoration project. This 1962 Chevy belair wagon was someone’s stalled project they lost interest in and sold to us. We don’t know what they did to it so we’re going to see if it runs.

What do you guys think we should do with this 62 belair wagon ? Also who is going to the duct tape drags here in Tucson in late September? I think me and dad are going to go

Absolutely love puddins Fab Shop, you guys should do a gasser build everyone else is doing low and slow would be a sick build
Sell it to me
Puddin's fab Shop's build is sort of the thing I would go for other than that IMHO his sits a tad too low to be practical. And I hate auto boxes so maybe a 5sp conversion, done up as a good handling and braking (discs!) car for long distance trips. You're in AZ so aircon is another option I'd consider. Oh and since they already messed with the original paint there's no patina to preserve, so maybe a proper paint job when time and/or money allow...
Restore it
Updated restoration, make it better, but 'original' upgrade steering/suspension, brakes to modern add an underdash A/C & good stereo, new headliner & upholstery and you've a 'goin' places in comfort & style' car.😎
I just want to say I think you and your dad do some really fantastic work and I really enjoy the videos I don't miss a one
Thank you that means a lot
Your dad does good work
Remember riding in the back of the neighbor's car from Sunday school. Remember the floor panels.
Your Dad kicks ass, you're no slouch yourself. I enjoy your stuff because it shows you care about what you're doing. You're not just slapping pieces in and flipping it.
Thank you for the compliment
The 62 Chevy wagon is a real find. Look forward to watching y’all making the magic on it.
That '60 Chevy El Camino is looking real good !!!
The 62 is a real gem. It will fix up nicely.
Great old wagon and that El Camino is beautiful!
Dad has old skool skills 👌🏻
Every car that u guys do are great. Keep up the good work 👍
After the El-Camino, this could be a good project.
Good to see such a solid car get a 2nd life that thing is clean thanks for the update your Dad does great work
Seems ready to pick up where it got left off on!
Travis your dad did real good. That is probably the easiest will it run ever. This will make a great car restoration. Sounds like a a manifold is pretty noisy. That’s all I can see mechanically. The 59 is looking great. Great video Men!
❤️💯👊👍
Puddins wagon is a 1961 Bel-air. Man, you guys fell into a real clean '62! Nice find Travis and DAD! Will be following this great rebuild.
This wagon will look amazing once it is finished! They definitely don’t make them like they used to.
"Four doors are for people with friends" Explains why I have no friends :(
thats a nice 62 chevy wagon real solid can wait to see more content on it
Fantastic work on the tailgate and the valance piece Rick. Also nice job pouring water into the radiator Travis I take pride in a steady pour lol, the zoom-in is perfect
I always love the videos, but I feel remiss having never commented about your dad's sheet metal work. its awesome watching a lifetime's worth of experience and skill being applied to bring these cars back to their former glory
Great video, love these classic cars , puddins is a 61 Belair wagon. Not much difference though. Can't wait to see this one running.
Hey, Travis. Another great video. Your 62 wagon fired up good. Looks like a late model 350 because of the dipstick being on the passenger side. Also. The 60 ElCamino is looking great! Rick has some monster skills with the bodywork. Wishing you both continued fun and sucsess. 👍
Hey Travis. You and your dad did an amazing job on the El Camino. It is looking sweet!!!! Can't wait to see it finished. Same with the station wagon. Wow!!! You guys found a real pearl there!!!
Enjoy watching you and dad working together.
Love the channel Travis, keep up the great work. Always watch every time you guys put out a new video!
Thank you man’s alot
A nice companion to the 60 EL Camino
I love what you do with older vehicles. Keep up the good work.
Alot of the older impala, would of come with a 2 speed power glide! Or the 350/350. Or you could of got a swapped turbo400 if you got lucky, she is very straight, body is nice. Frame is super clean. This should go as easy as the elco
Your dads truck looking great. Nice old wagon. Awesome work. Thanks from. Sc
He’s making so much progress ! Thanks for watching
I believe Puddin's wagon is a '61. The El Camino looks great!
Really like the new project. Look forward to seeing it come back to life. 👍.
That El Camino is a sharp looking machine. Great color choice!
Score nice shape compare to Puddin's Fab Shop 61 wagon with straight six he had to replace the floor, this is going to be fun to watch, run the numbers on the block i'm guessing it has a high lift cam.
Man you’re way ahead of what pudden started with because he had major rust in the roof and floor pans and other panels but his wagon has a lot more options but it’s super cool car no matter what. I bet under the hood is Ear Busting loud N Boomer.
Yeah I saw some of his videos where he replaced the floor. Did a dang good job but man is it a nightmare
kinda sounds like a ww2 prop plane! hope you guys fix it up,slick ol wagon! 👍💯
That is looking great!
It is a later model small-block, or at least the heads, '87 and up heads have those centerbolt valve covers.
I had a 62 Belair 4 door sedan with a 235 cylinder with a 3 speed with overdrive transmission, It was white with red interior.
im guessing it was just the exhaust being rusted thru or completely gone that made this engine sound like a damn 1000hp tractor. absolute beast, chevy knew what they were doing back in the day.
Love that old yellow wagon keep up more content on it please
Almost to 100K subs! Keep it up guys!!!
You have no idea how much I wish I was you neighbor. I'd fit right in with the two of you. I'm more your Dad's age (81) but my head is right there with YOU. I love what you are doing and I want to help. I've got grease and oil in my veins. Maybe someday we'll be neighbors. The wife and I have been talking about moving to Southern Az.
Other than swapping out the power glide for say a 700R4... just clean it up, paint it.. don't make it too pretty, and drive the wheels off that thing. I prefer 4 doors too... especially in a wagon.
Awesome channel. Love those el camino's.
Sweet station wagon! Great work on the El Camino!
Thank you for sharing, Travis. I would like to see a road trip if possible with the 62.
God Bless 🙏
Good job guys.
Thanks for another, Brother !!
Enjoyed the picture show.
Keep up the good work buddy
Real nice wagon its goin to be awesome when you all are done putting it together.
And you dad is an awesome fabricator and painter.
Watched this a second time. Awesome!
Thank you 💪🏼💪🏼
I remember when Derrick from Vice Grip Garage would respond to every comment. Back then he had like 500 subscribers. But not anymore. I was one of his first, but doesn't remember me. I hope you get that big too someday
Nice new project. I'd do the same with it, as your El Camino. Speaking of which, thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to seeing both of them finished.
Thank you.
Awesome clean dry wagon.
The sixty two bel air and Impala are my favorite model years
Thank you for sharing and your APPRECIATION to your subscribers Travis
Always. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@theetravisb ummmm ya
Always love to see new attempts
The El Comino is looking 👌
I’m in Jacksonville beach Florida = absolutely understand the mileage concept = is a long way = I understand = I hope others also do
You can get every trim piece and replace the faded out Chevy emblems from a company called Year One. When i was rebuilding a 66 caprice a while back i could have rebuilt the whole car from their catalogue. You might know of some cheaper sources. Puddins Chevy is a 1961 Parkwood.
Thanks for the info
That ute has come up well it was a definite bomb when you guys started and the wagon is solid the biggest job will be paint and interior
Bad ass wagon guys! Ive seen it in the background in one of the eelcamino videos and was wondering when you guys was going to do a video on it! Didn't disappoint! Great video and awesome car 👍
Keep doing your thing man, learning from you and your experiences is awesome, thank you!!
Way cool thanks for your time 😊
I'd love to see you guys do a budget build on it.
Nice work guys ! Can't beat an old Chevy!👍
Fantastic video ,love your channel!
Gr from the Netherlands
Great score on the wagon
Just came across your channel. I love it! Just wish you had more interior shots of startups and pedal shots. Y’all wear fantastic boots, let’s see em working those pedals!
Man, I would love to have the space and finances to do with my son what you and your dad are able to do together! It's so awesome! Love yalls channel & I am definitely a new subscriber!! Keep up the killer videos!🥂✌️
What a sweet Elco
Hey men, what about putting a muncie 4 speed and converting to camaro disc brakes? If you can afford it, try to keep it for your next generation. There isnt many of those old girls left laying around. Great job on the camino.
The trans may be a power glide. It looks like it is a power glide transmission, if it is it should have 14 bolts.
Glad I bummed into you guys. Lost track of you
Nice video.
Hi, thank you for sharing 🙏
Awesome!!!!
Cool wagon!!
I dont watch Puddin, but I watch his buddy Mortske Repair, plus Junkyard Digs, Jennings Motorsports, Sleeperdude, Thunderhead 289, and of COURSE Vice Grip Garage!
Hi travis the el camino looks great an the wagon is a good score i like green pump . Cheers mate🇦🇺
The spare tire goes into the well of right quarter panel. Tire and jack offset the weight of the gas tank being in the left quarter panel
No Puddin has got a 61 Brookwood wagon, thankz.
Great project car
You guys are great
Good job
Great video🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you did a car video, hate diesels. The Belair is pretty cool. Really love the El Camino. Spent some time out that way. Desert and mountains are great but my family is in Louisiana. Scrappers get all the good cars here.
cant find nothing like that on the east coast , u guys got some nice finds out west
HIT ME UP
What a good find, lots of expensive work done to it, and done well by the previous owner. Late model vortec heads too on that 350.
I’m Australian and my first car was a Australian 1967 Falcon XR wagon, my first car so have a soft spot for the long roofs
Great Videos, greets from Germany. 🙂
That's a neat '62 wagon,, put on a 409,, lol even 327 will do. I do follow a channel from Tecumseh Oklahoma who is restoring a '61 Brookwood SW he got from a junkyard
