Been trying to use fsr3 + frame generation with my 1660ti, but the game crashes when I activate them. If I disable fsr3 and use only frame generation, the game crashes after a few minutes of gameplay.
*Useful Information* So if anyone is struggling to select a perfect Anti aliasing for them or wanna use upscaling but don't like the blur and all, here's the solution: While testing on my own about graphics and performance I really wanted to shift to dlss cause smaat2x and taa are too shimery and after a little gagging and stuff I found the thing that can solve it --> Nvidia Image Sharpening and Radeon Image Sharpener. I was not performance hungry really wanted to use dlaa but didn't like the blur but this was a game changer Using sharpening of *0.20 - 0.30* with ignore film grane on zero on my rtx 3080 changed it all, the game looked more crisp and the blur was tackled. I tried and used dlss and boom the game looked like native but more smooth. So try using this range of Sharpening specified For only (DLAA, FSR3 or TAA) use Sharpening 0.20 - 025 For Upscaling use 0.25 - 0.30 The range may vary for different resolutions (I use 1080p) but keep in between 0.20 - 0.30 and use ignore film grain to 0 anything more is oversharpened
@@damboi8528 yea i have a dual 4090 setup with 120 GB of Ram and a 64 core cpu and its still having trouble i just think the game is just bugged and no i did not pirate the game i mean i can play cyberpunk 2077 in 8k no problem never drops below 144 fps
nice! went from average 40 to buttery smooth 130-144. It set everything to max settings by default for some reason and I didn't wanna go through figuring out which ones mattered
game is super well optimized, nixxes did it again, i have rx 6800 non xt , and running this game on maxed settings with fsr 3.0 on dynamic, game runs even above 1440p upscaling closer from 2000p i think and still hit very stable 60fps, what a joy to have well optimized game these days. and its not super heavy on my old r5 3600 cpu too like it was on horizon forbiden west :) 16gb vram also great stuff, in few zones ive seen above 13gb vram usage so i feel so safe
@@sebthegoat301 use vsync, either from andrenaline or nvidia panel or native game vsync it removes tearing, also make sure you set your native monitor refresh rate on dynamic upscaling, if its 60hz set it to max 60, it also helps a lot, i have no tearing cause of these

there's no setting for it currently but I remember this being a setting you could turn off in wo long: fallen dynasty, something like camera delay or offset right? Where you turn the camera but it's not instant and it feels slow.
Is it possible to turn Fsr3 FG on and then lock the fps to 60? Cause whenever i do it in other games (such as robocop) the game feels like 40-50 frames

i cant seem to run the game with frame gen even with my high specs im getting stutters (7800x3d & 7900xtx) without the stutters i do get 100+ fps but i get those stutters every 20 seconds
Fsr 3 frame generation causes the game not to launch for me. But I’m on an older system. I7-6700, 1070 and 16gb ram. Plus installed on HDD. But so far on high settings I’m getting 45-60 fps. Only played opening scene so far tho

@@Swanny098 i experience that scaling thing in cutscenes when fsr3 upscaling is on but its not an issue...the main issue is frame generation....it crashes the game during cutscenes and while opening the menu....i hope they fix it because the fps boost from frame generation is really helpful
lol i did a comment for some people and wow i was playing the game and didn't realize i had my computer set to only use 1 processor and i limited my ram for when i was playing arma i feel like such an idiot i was checking my device manager and only one thread was running out of the 128 i have lol god sometimes its best to remember when your drinking to check your settings before playing games because i like to set mine to low setting if im watching a movie or anime just so my computer doesn't overheat but i still got my extra fan to stop that but because my room tends to get down to about 20 to 30 degress at night and around 50 during the day it still stays pretty cold and if your seeing my ip i do not live in los angeles just so you know
Thank you! I had all settings set to Ultra and was having trouble consistently maintaining 60-70fps. With your configuration now the game works above 165fps for me! (1440p with DLSS Quality and FG, but without any of that the game still runs at 100fps) It's incredible how a good configuration greatly increases game performance
@@lokedd that's...not related to nvidia lmao fsr 3 works on everything. it's a bug with the game right now which they'll hopefully fix soon. fsr 3 is usually the best option for any gpu since dlss only works on premium nvidia cards.
@@lokedd same here, you have to leave FG off until you get to the main menu, then go into settings on turn it back on. if i dont do that my game crashes on startup.

It's insane that you can use both DLSS and AMD Framegeneration in this game. Been playing Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty with frame gen. mod that way, and I prefer to play like that on my 1440p 240hz monitor 🤌

High texture quality hits over 6348mb vram on my RX 5500 XT so I recommend you to use Medium. V.High hits over 7250mb.

With dlss and frame generation I get 170-185 fps with shadows on high and everything else on maxed out. I got a 3080 and 10500
Even though I have a 16:9 monitor I play at 4k but with 21:9 even with the black bars it suits this game/fov and about 10fps more performance.
When using dlss + FSR Frame generation the game crashes. Therefore I can not use with dlss but with amd fsr.
