I think it may have to do we impact and inertia of movement to keep balanced while going at such a speed, OR it may have to do with spotting enemies OR possibly aerodynamics.
My respect Daisuke, he fought like a real samurai without shurikens and smoke bombs
BRUH how this has only just been recommended to me is beyond me... such a dope video, thank you! NAILED it
Ghost of Tsushima was one of the most impactful games I ever played hands down, and I cannot get enough of it. So to see super fun stuff like this while we wait for the movie, my post-game obsession will continue for a while let's just say. 😅
Same. I love the game so much. It's been my favorite since the launch

The reason he shakes his head and dips forward like that is because he’s not starting from a jog, he’s starting from just standing so him dipping forward is him generating forward momentum quickly to pick up speed. You’ll see Olympic track runners do it when they start their sprint.
Is this why it's so common to see those "dramatic dips" when you start sprinting in videogames
@@dignusdingus3709 video games often over exaggerate movements so that its readable to the player and for impact. An actual warrior would never take his eyes off his opponent even if he was to begin running because that’s almost certainly death in most cases
Jin's faces during the moves: Great seriousness
Daisuke's faces during the moves: Great silliness
Im not a gamer but when I got my ps5 and started to play Ghost of Tsushima, I was instantly hooked, addicted. This imo is the best game ever. The visual quality is jaw dropping.
If you weren't a gamer why did u get a ps5
@@grim_56 because im bored with my life.
@@grim_56 intelligence ain't existing with this one 🗣️
I don't think Sony knows how great of a treasure they found.
So tru the can almost build a mcu-esce world here and make an excellent movie, it's a freakin goldmine
10:06 he is shacking his head to avoid flies while running xDd
He seems like a real fkn cool dude, good-natured, and humble despite the massive success of this game. I just completed it and have to say his performance was excellent and the storyline kept me hooked. Awesome video! 🤘
This is so dope!!! This was everything I needed in my life! Daisuke is such a charm and so amazing and truly brought Jin Sakai to life 🖤🖤🖤🖤 How amazing to be the face of such a monumental and phenomenal game! This is definitely one of my favorite videos of all time. 🥰
I'm glad to hear that!☺️ Thank you for your encouraging comment!
It’s 2023 and this game is still my most often played and enjoyed game .. Theo vid is awesome and so are both of your kenjutsu
I'm clapping in real life omg, I love every bit of this.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Seeing Suji try recreating these moves is both funny but also cool lmao, hopefully you know he also voiced Kuai Liang in MK1 which has to be the best thing I've seen.
Your fight at the end was amazing, could have been straight out of a movie!
if theres a ghost of tsushima movie i wanna see daisuke as Jin
7:20 “Byyyeee byeeee Jiiiiiiiin”
Its an earworm i cant get this out of my head
Toru you are really humble personl letting our Jin Sakai win on the fighting scene. Appreciated.
And Daisuke.. hopefully you will cast as a Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima live action movie!
You two are awesome!
Thank you🙏🏼
This proves that he should really reprise his role for the upcoming movie. Also, thank you Uchikado-san!!! for making this possible. Great collaboration by the way.

This was badass guys! I even shed a tear.
Imagine if Daisuke said " may your death benefit all being " when finishing the duel

All of these moves are awesome. And you guys did a great job with the fight scene. Awesome work. Great pointers as well.
It's good how they kept the character identical to Daisuke, seeing him in real after playing the game is amazing.
I think a lot of modern games just use their voice actors as the faces, one example I remember would be Death Stranding, Sam Porter Bridges looks exactly like his VA Norman Reedus, so does Fragile, Cliff and Mama.
@@Jay9966most games use motion capture these days, so the voice actors were actually acting out the scenes and having not only their voice but also their likeness and movements captured. They’ve done this with red dead 2, this game and many others.
@@jackdubs25Motion capture doesn't capture the likeness of the face. Only movements of the face and body. The character likeness was probably sculpted by a 3d artist or 3d scanned.
Man this was amazing. The demonstrations and the choreography at the end. Freaking loved Ghost of Tsushima. Daisuke is an awesome funny guy . Awesome twitch channel. Gotta play the directors cut on my PS5 soon . Daisuke as a beginner actually looked like a natural with the sword . Can definitely see him perfecting it in the future if he is interested in practising the styles etc . This was awesome
This is pure quality. So glad the hype for GoT is still so alive! Absolutely ENJOYED this. Thanks guys for being this awesome!
My god, feels like meeting my idol, my tears come out on its own
The duel at the end was amazing. You did a great job at replicating the feel of them from the game. (Daisuke even looks like he is wearing the Ronin Attire.)
Jin Sakai was so badass they brought him to real life
the acting and the energy in that choreography was spot on it had me feeling I was watching an actual film! absolutely incredible 🔥
Daisuke killed it in GoT, incredible work putting emotion into that character. The game is absolutely god tier and a huge part of that (besides the gameplay) is due to the great cast of characters. Would love to see a film adaptation.
I got Ghost of Tsushima because a dentist I work with, whose schedule I ran who became a friend of mine because we're gamers, recommended it. I fell in love with it in 5 minutes. It's the second best game I've ever played (only second to Red Dead Redemption 2). I would love to meet Mr. Tsuji and have him autograph something for me and praise him for his voice over as Jin Sakai. My wife got me two bonsai tree kits so I could grow two trees. I'm naming one Jin Sakai and the other Mr. Miyagi because I grew up on Karate Kid (the original of course portrayed by Pat Morita).
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I’m not trained in swordsmanship and just watching I was immensely impressed with his skill and how fast he picked it up. I think the best part was the fact knowing you specifically made sure it was genuinely his first time telling him “ NOT * to practice. Absolutely brilliant! The choreography at the end was the icing on the cake. It was a wonderful performance! Two talented men on the battlefield. I felt like I was watching a scene from the game :)
Amazing video!! It’s awesome to see you both fighting. Amazing choreography!! Can’t believe it’s Jin Sakai in real life. Daisuke Tsuji seem to be a very nice man. Can’t wait for another video!!
Indeed He's such a nice man! It was an honor to do this project with him!
Daisuke is actually a really quick learner and this was a treat to behold. Well done, gentlemen!
I like ghost of trushima to miss
I love how actors like Bryan Dechart and Daisuke Tsuji love to reenact their characters or even play the game/react themselves.
Daisuke looked way better than i expected performing these moves, very good posture and movement
If Hollywood doesn't hire you both for the film adaptation, I'm going to be pissed.
Toru for Ryuzo , yay?
They won't. We all know that.
the cast choice probably like syamalayamananstanmanlayan's avatar last airbender
Im keeping my hopes down for now, Hollywoond never respect source material for every adaptation they made
@@franciscobutte it'll be a black guy or trans with hollywood. XD
The cheragrophy was unbelievebly beatiful more with daisuke pls
The duel was so wonderfully shot.
