Not trying to be rude but we watch youtube while doing other things. We don't want to read on the screen. Please read out the questions for multi-tasking queens!
It’s also difficult to read as the background color and font - white font on the white and gray pillows. I would have to pause the video to read…. Yes please read the written info.
I like Elite Hair lounge too - my friends and I go there for our silk presses, and we've only had good experiences. It's pricey, and they charge if you're late, so be on time, but ultimately I find the service very good and friendly, and they do a good job on my hair. They also book out fast - so consider booking in advance. I've also had some bad experiences in London black owned hair salons - once that happens, I don't go back. I'm considering the texture release - doing my research!
@@kelemogotsi5309 went very well i really love my hair i guess as time goes on i will know if its worth it just hoping my hair reverts back a littlewhen i do wash it because my hair is quite thin so i wont be straightening my hair on wash days except when im going for touch ups there i think they gta to put heat on the roots
My purpose isnt really for straight pin hair but just to get more softness and lookning my stylish i really needed that trim though for sure i love a blunt cut my ends look more fuller il be back in 3 months
Thank you! It grew a lot before I started doing texture releases. This is the longest I've ever seen it! Yes only stopped relaxing my hair at the end of university x
@@kamilahbartley the level of ‘permancency’ is determined by the number of passes with the straightening iron. Likely this person had more than two passes of the iron. The stylist should tell you about this option before heat straightening/sealing the product into your hair. If they didn’t do that for her then by all means she should name the salon to avoid. However, if the OP misunderstood or didn’t ask enough questions then perhaps it’s unfair to deny that salon potential business because of the OP’s ignorance or lack of understanding about the treatment. The main ‘lesson’ is do do lots of research on any treatment one is thinking of having, and if the stylist isn’t fully communicating what the process entails nor answering any questions you may have then run for the hills! 😂
great vid! I just had my texture release done and definitely, it's a lifestyle for me now lol. love it!
Hahaha love that... it's a lifestyle for me too xx
How long does your texture release last?

Thanks for the feedback I will bear this in mind for future videos! x
I know right. I didn't read any of that crap. 🤣🤔

Or just wait until you have time to watch the video. That’s quite entitled of you
@@nellad993that’s actually quite helpful and a great feedback. If everyone waited till the had time, she may not get views.
I've been to Elite Hair Lounge twice and I had a good experience every time. I got a texture release too and I love it
Wish you shared the salon name it’s an expensive treatment and I could be going into a bad experience.
I went to Hype Coiffure in Lavender Hill (Battersea). Had mine done there and it was a good experience.
Thank you so much for sharing!! x
Just had my hair trimmed there by FIVE. Dean is my go to stylist though.
This is where I go too. They're good
Thanks for this information! I’m in the US I wish more stylist used this treatment here im going to try and do it myself wish me luck!
Oh woww didnt realise it wasn't very popular in the US?!
@@kristensamara yeah very few salons talk about it and even fewer UA-cam videos with US bloggers so thx!!
I thought it was just me not finding US vloggers. I'm going to do it and upload to my channel too.
@@MogulBeLike oh yes that would be amazing! I actually use cliove organics now have you ever heard of that brand its a keratin treatment
@@theposhceo I haven’t, I’ve been against keratin treatments, but was intrigued when they say the product uses aminos and reverts with washing.

Your hair is so lovely and long, was it a similar length to this before you started doing texture releases? Also have you ever relaxed your hair
Thank you! It grew a lot before I started doing texture releases. This is the longest I've ever seen it! Yes only stopped relaxing my hair at the end of university x
My hair has not gone back it’s been over 8 months. It’s like new growth. For me it’s permanent. I have to go back forever or cut my hair.
Oh no! Did you do the treatment in the form of more passes for straight hair ?
It's pretty much the same for me... my hair hasn't returned to it's original state.
Can you guys name the salons where this happened so we can avoid 😊 thank you!
This may be a silly question, but have you tried a clarifying shampoo?

Love your eyebrows and love your dark hair color ! Is your hair recently silk pressed from salon or recently touched up from the texture release ?
Thank you so much. It ws recently silk pressed from the salon x
Have you tried Morells in Brockley?
What did u do when it rained
I have extremely frizzy hair, would a texture release help with that? Or would I be better off with a keratin treatment?
It probably would - but worth consulting your stylist to decide which treatment is best! Hope it worked out for you x
Keratin treatments usually contain formaldehyde, which isn’t great for your hair. I guess it comes down to one’s preference.
I’m noticing there’s not many salons in London that offer this service. What salon did u go to?
I first went to Elite Hair Lounge for the first time - very professional.
Does your hair still revert when wet?
Yep just just have to wait a little bit
