Azeroth is the framework / design the first ones gave part of their own souls to create. Below is a quote from the wiki noting this existence. Basically Azeroth will always try to balance the forces on the chart we got in the shadowlands. This means a pantheon that wants to suppress the other pantheons such as death, life, void, light, disorder (fell) and so on..... Well that pantheon would want this sealed. As this that creates and forces balance would then balance the forces they put down. Each should have a pantheon but we see missing pantheons such as the pantheon of life. This existence would restore the missing pantheons and the balance. The problem is that the pantheon of order does not want balance but domination and sealed Azeroth that govers balance. Yes. This is what I always thought; I never thought it was as simple as Sargeras to go mad and create the legion to go and destroy Azeroth and "all life in the universe" because he's afraid of the dark. There had to be more to it, especially when it's been told from the Pantheon's perspective alone. What if the First Ones is actually just the First One and the rest got lost(or purposefully so) in translation and that being went into slumber after creating the Shadowlands and the machine.
And what if Azeroth is the only REAL Titan, hence The last Titan title and the other Titans are just imposters that killed of all Titans and imprisoned her since there should be at least one living Titan for the universe to exist?
I really dislike the idea that Sargeras took in the Fel just to stop the Titans to save Azeroth. If that really is what the writers want, then I'll stick to Classic. Turning bad guys into good guys and good into bad feels like a cheap twist at the expense of nearly two decades of established lore. If they want to suddenly say that all of the destruction, corruption, soul-stealing, and genocide was in the name of saving Azeroth, it's laughable. illidan will come back as avatar of sargeras probably...enfuse by his power.when everything clear.also azeroth probaly gf of sargeras which titan drama we do not know yet.and deleted by them and real reason why sargeras turn against them.and gather an army.they always miss guide us to pointing fingers its all about void.but they can handle void lords themself and no need army.sargeras probably want to break this endless war.so azeroth probably one of void lord or something like this.switched side.and control both light and shadow or maybe more and mastered everything.but could not stand against everyone.
That's not what Sylvanas was talking about. Sylvanas talked about the cycle of life/death to which mortals were chained without choice, dominated and abused by it. Hell, she even explains it to Anduin (and by the players), that you got no choice in life, that everything is dictated by these powers, this system and then, when you die, you are condemned for just that life that you didn't choose to begin with. She saw that a brutal enslavement and by that wanted to break it down - what in a way she reached, not to 100% as she wanted, buts still quite a lot. This said: Azeroth is likely part of the big system in which this cycle is a part of, the whole cosmic forces thing.
I think Azeroth is special in that she is a convergence of all of the cosmic energies: Death, Life, Order, Disorder, Light, Void. Being a convergence, she's the most powerful entity in existence and all of the other forces want to dominate her and control her before she awakens. Aman'thul may be the one currently winning, infusing her with an overabundance of Order energies in an attempt to ensure she is on their "team".
What if... Elune was the very being that was imprisoned all along, when Aman'Thul got so angry he ripped the first world tree out, and also somehow imprisoned Elune, and that was what truly made Eonar sad, because she was close to Elune?
My headcanon is that post-Wrath is a fever dream. The idea that the Titans turned Azeroth into a prison AFTER they found it, even though it had Old Gods infesting it, seems absolutely moronic.
Would it ? Spirits elementals are presents on every worlds, even ones that aren't sentients so why would Azeroth, not the most ancient world, be the Elemental Lord of all Elementals Lords ? Not sure it really put her on the same scale as the Titans either.
All other planets have spirit which balances the elements. Azaroth is said to have absorbed most of the spirit, what is Azaroth is the Elemental Lord of Spirit?
This is the theory I have been supporting for a while now. I don't think it's crazy; I think it is brilliant. I never liked the Titans much and our presumed devout loyalty to them. I am ready to follow Xal'atath into the void to stop them haha
Actually i want to hear this conversation in a trailer or ingame video: I'm a Sargeras+Illidan Bromance fan - I gave you those eyes to see the truth, but you became more blinded then before.... -And after decades you still didnt see what is coming for us.... ... But I always knew you are just like me. Using powers that are not even natural for us... but find it through a purpose to endure against allodds... - And now you are here, because you realized that my brothers and sister are not what they are. -I presume you are now prepared to listen... Illidan Stormrage -Illidan: Every choice i made... was to keep you away from MY WORLD. - Illidan: I will never trust you, i will never serve you.... But if we dont do something... Not just Azeroth, but the whole world will consumed by THAT THING...
I think that since most if not all of the Old Guard Story writers for Warcraft and World of Warcraft have left or been fired from Blizzard, all the new people have been doing since Legion is retconning everything we've ever been told to tell "their" story. Kinda like Kathleen Kennedy with Starwars.
It is quite eerie & funny thet the ripping of the 1st World tree Elun' Ahir & one of the void lords Y'shaarj, from Azeroth & creating a big scar on the planet are so similar... What if what Aman'thul called chaos, was actually the fusion of a world tree, with a 'good' void lord & in stead of understanding, he just destroyed what he couldn't understand, because of their Titan dogma (with all their constructs getting the curse of flesh)... Maybe even (except for Eonar, who loves Elune & life) all life is chaos to the other Titans & kindred to the void's chaos... Maybe Azeroth is 'the price' coveted by all the different powers, trying to conquer (her), to get domination over the other domains. This would mean that Azeroth is actually similar to the arbiter, but on a cosmic scale & if she was given freedom, she can onehandedly straighten out all of the domains, by remaining neutral & an arbiter. Ofc this would mean that all attempts on her, could lead to consequences, to the purpetrators & why the Titans imprisoned her, whilst trying to brainwash her...
I will be happy if, within the next expansion or 3, we get a more customizable version of the Legion and WoD follower/missions systems. I want to have my own little home on Azeroth again with npcs that do my bidding.
So, if Azeroth is elemental, that means that not all races are not of Azeroth. Elves are of elune, orcs, and dranei are obviously of Argus. Maybe the different forces putting other races that are not native to Azeroth are meant to destroy the creations of the Titans
Since this guy is literally never right. This means Azeroth is a nice family retreat and the most free place in the universe. Nothing to do with a prison

1. When I think about how Titans are born I think about that God awful Marvel Movie "The Eternals" 2. Elementals, Death, Light, Void, Arkane, Life and Fel. With all these pantheon powers all putting their influence on this planet, Azeroth is going to be the "Be all, End all" of the whole Pantheon.
0:15 I don't understand what's so strange about it, every worlds so far are elementals and have spirits that rules over them. 5:29 You base that on what ? So far, Sargeras has been destroying worlds or corrupting them (Draenor, Argus,...), He even defected from the Titans long before they found Azeroth so i don't understand what make you think that he want to free it. 6:43 Why would breaking the Lich-king helmet have anything to do with Azeroth "prison" ? The Lich-King didn't even exist when the Pantheon found Azeroth and he was created by Kil'jaeden, not a Titan. 8:20 Don't Argus actually prove that to be correct ? He was a Titan and born from the original homeworld of the Draeneis. Maybe Azeroth is a nascent being but one that hasn't choosed its side on the cosmological board game yet so maybe the Titans put facilities on it to sway her toward Order ?
my gues is that azaroth is the mother of titans and that the conlifct between sargarus and the other titans might have played a role in her inprisonment. so azaroth might be one of the first ones and they might sort of be the first children of the god of the universe of warcraft. i pretty much think that azaroth is to warcraft what lady eternity is to the marvel universe.
i really dont like them making the titans badguys all of a sudden, i liked it when they were just morally grey and saw things different than mortals, kinda like algalon from ULD he was the perfect example of what the titans should be something who truly believes he has to stop us but we prove them wrong by beating them
Hmm, I don't think it's an elemental in particular. If anything. I think it's a First One. Or rather the Last First one and having a God Reborn dose interfere with everyone else's God Complex like the Titans and the Void. So each is trying to convert the Last God to its Side or otherwise Destroy it.
It would be awesome if Azeroth is an actual "first one", and I love how stupid and wrong we always are as characters. We were wrong about Illidan the first time, and hopefully the second time too with banishing Sargeras. I don't trust the Titans one bit, trying to order the universe. I've seen Star Wars. Order is what the Galactic Empire wanted so f!ck your "order". I want the next faction war to be between those who still believe in the Titans and those who don't. Me and my warband no longer subscribe to the Titan's bullsh!t
@@noktinYou clearly didn't pay attention to Star Wars then. There was order before the Empire when the Jedi and Republic ran things. The Empire was legit tyrannical and that's why the story progressed how it did. You for sure didn't understand those movies
Since the chronicle, which we found out is one sided, why do you all still believe snuffing about the titans? Amanthul is just a conqueror/dictator. The other titans are just under his thumb. He has been collecting world souls that he can control. Azeroth is the only one we can’t control so he imprisoned her. Azeroth is also not elemental. She is the sum of all forces. Look at the color. The violet, red, orange, yellow. Which is also the reason why Amanthul couldn’t convert her to a titan construct. Everything we know i about the titans is from them. They want everyone to think they are so big and powerful and are at the top of the food chain. They are not that powerful to defeat other forces, all they can do is lock them away or put up veils around different universes. You all have been duped
This is more cosmic shit I can't be arsed about. Azeroth is the world we live on. That's all I need to know. All this talk about Azeroth this, Titans that... It's a bunch of Lunatic talk if you ask me - get it? Elune? Lunatic?
Azeroth=Astoroth/Azathoth The Blind Idiot God (of Lovecraft) that dreams existence into reality, but if the Dreamer wakes... it ends. The forces probably want to take over the dream/reality, but keep her asleep so they can continue to be.
I always supported this idea, and that's why I was bothered so much by how Sylvana's story turned so f**ed up in shadowlands as she looked correct to everything she said, but I don't believe Blizzard would make the bad guys end up being good. It's like an unofficial law, that whoever looks devilish, evil, undead etc, its always the bad guy. And good always wins in Blizz stories, so I can't imagine us joining the ''evil'' looking side. I mean, burning legion, undead skulls, dark powers, is always our enemy. Sad, cause it would be an amazing story, but I don't have much faith in Blizz letting this happen.
Well when it comes to World of Warcraft the war, I'm honestly starting to have doubts that the Titans really are good guys. I mean yeah they seeded the world with mechanical life, as well as apparently some of the stone creatures so I guess Elemental life as well to a point. But it was the old gods that use the curse of Flesh to create us, and then the Titans came along and kind of like blindsided us with this whole big they're the good guys thing and possibly tricked us into following them and worshiping them. I'm not saying that the old gods are a good guys in this situation, but they're more along the lines of our creators than the Titans ever were.
why would the rest of the cosmic forces care about Azeroth if it was just an Elemental Lord and not a vulnerable Titan Soul that is supposedly the most powerful being in creation?
I believe everyone is making WAAAAAY too big a deal over this stupid logo. They just wanted a logo that looked... "Titanish", so they used Titan assets to create one of what was certainly many many designs and this one was the most pleasing to the art department. To listen to multiple channels go on and on with full tin foil hats about the particular assets used to create box art and how they have some "secret hidden meanings" is just getting ridiculous.
yea but why would it take years for her to finally speak? Sarg and Syl would have broke those chains YEARS ago especially with the time leap after SL...otherwise it makes sense.
Even if she is right it still does not make her any kind of hero. There have many villains throughout history that had good intentions but what made them villianous were the actions they took in order to get there. The ends do not justify the means.
This is what you get when the writing team are scrambling around for new story ideas. Use some older lines to patch a story together and then wink at the player and pretend you knew what you were doing all along and that it was all some sort of master plan...
The war within is going to begin to unravel the Titans plans, its antagonist is going to be sometging or someone pretty irrelevant. Perhaps even a titan civil war resulting in the title "war within" Midnight is going to foil those plans and the void lords are going to officially debut as the worst antagonists yet. They will be released at the end of the titan civil war if thats the route taken The final titan is exactly that. Midnight is going to kill the remaining titans. And the last titan (could be azeroth) will awaken and restore peace to the peace to the planet by wiping out the voidlords alongside the heroes and restoring piece as the dark purple void logo is replaced with light. This is my theory.
so if we go by the lovecraftian lore which this is largely based. Azaroth would be Azathoth the sleeping blind idiot god whos DREAMS create reality. IF AWAKEN the dream would even and reality would be crushed, hense why the other Outer Gods keep Azarot...i mean Azathoth asleep. Now what would happen if a true Void Lord came into our reality?? Now what happens to reality in the lovecraft if Azathoth is awaken?? NOW why is Azaroth kept alseep by the Emerald Dream???
Even if Sylvanas had a good point that still does not excuse the vile things that she did. After Cataclysm is when she really started to go off the deep end when she started killing and raising fallen into undeath everywhere, BfA turned that up to eleven. When I really started to become disgusted with Sylvanas was in Warcrimes, when she wanted to murder in raise her own sister Vereesa, her "Little Moon" into a banshee like her, because she was lonely. If Vereesa would have stuck around long enough for Sylvanas to achieve that, Vereesa's sons would have been both without their father and their mother. Sylvanas should have been happy that the Windrunner legacy still lives on in Vereesa and that her younger sister did not share the same fate as she did. But simps are gonna be simps, they believe that Sylvanas is a perfect saint and/or goddess who did never did anything wrong.
but what about magni then? as far as we are aware he is in permanent "conversation" with azeroth itself -- so if that would be true then why didn't he knows what azeroth truely is. cause she would have told him then that every cosmic force wants a piece of the cake and that the titans are hiding some crucial information from us. cause what would azeroth get out of it for hiding the info from us if she is in this cage without her own consent
@TheRealAb216 even if he is now controlled by azeroth itself -- still, what is the point of hiding what she is and why she got imprisoned? she knows that we are gonna help her if she asks -- cause she is our home. and i assume she doens't wants to get ripped apart from all the other cosmic forces to begin with
I want to go along with this but… Sargaeras and the Burning Legion have been trying to destroy Azeroth forever. All the demons tal about when they invade us in any of the games is that they want to burn or corrupt our world and others. I don’t think sargaeras has had the best well thought out intentions to destroy Azeroths prison lol.
Sargeras created the burning legion to stop the Void Lords from corrupting and the Pantheon from harnessing Azeroth for their own purposes. In order to do so he sacrificed one world soul, Argus, to create an immortal and unstoppable army in order to oppose them - which he succeeded in doing. He didn't just "go mad" and started to kill everyone for no reason. He saw what would happen if the Titans could go about their business, and he saw if they would fail and let the Void Lord do it instead. Besides, this whole story has been told from the Pantheon's perspective, and they think of us as no more than insects on Azeroth. Sometimes they see us a s a useful tool, but that's about it as far as they are concerned. So why would they tell us what they're really doing with the planet that gave life to us?
i wonder if they are planning to do something like the end times from warhammer after the last titan ends, the warhammer fans didn't like age of sigmar but i think it could be cool if it's done well, the game is from 2004 so they'll have to make a new one at some point because of the advances in technology, plus the expansion is called the last titan which might also be a hint that wow is gonna end, it would be kinda sad to see it end but i really like the idea of wow 2.

illidan will come back as avatar of sargeras probably...enfuse by his power.when everything clear.also azeroth probaly gf of sargeras which titan drama we do not know yet.and deleted by them and real reason why sargeras turn against them.and gather an army.they always miss guide us to pointing fingers its all about void.but they can handle void lords themself and no need army.sargeras probably want to break this endless war.so azeroth probably one of void lord or something like this.switched side.and control both light and shadow or maybe more and mastered everything.but could not stand against everyone.
Illidans going to come back as a lightborn zealot and be the big bad guy again
@@Captain.Kincayd Lightborn ? The white Draeneis ?
Ever thought about doing a video on what or who the playable characters play as through the storyline, in raids too
Azeroth is probably a "First one".
This is why they introduced the stasis traps in shadowlands and had them set up by the transmogrifier in Oribos
13.2: conspiracies of ulduar
im imagining that ulduar itself is the game's final raid
My headcanon is that post-Wrath is a fever dream. The idea that the Titans turned Azeroth into a prison AFTER they found it, even though it had Old Gods infesting it, seems absolutely moronic.
We never defeated yogg-saron, we have been living in his nightmare since ulduar
Azeroth being the Elemental Lord of all Elemental Lords would make a whole heck of a lot of sense.
It's not just the titans telling us the Legion was evil: Velen told us as well. They've needlessly obliterated a lot of innocent worlds.
So interesting! So then could this be the final vision nozdromu saw when he said aman'thul what have you done?? In end time??
This is the theory I have been supporting for a while now. I don't think it's crazy; I think it is brilliant. I never liked the Titans much and our presumed devout loyalty to them. I am ready to follow Xal'atath into the void to stop them haha
You just like her because she's hot. Be a man and admit it
Actually i want to hear this conversation in a trailer or ingame video:
I'm a Sargeras+Illidan Bromance fan
- I gave you those eyes to see the truth, but you became more blinded then before....
Illidan Stormrage
-Illidan: Every choice i made... was to keep you away from MY WORLD.
Ofc this would mean that all attempts on her, could lead to consequences, to the purpetrators & why the Titans imprisoned her, whilst trying to brainwash her...
just a question, so it's not me we still don't know why the islands woke up.
I will be happy if, within the next expansion or 3, we get a more customizable version of the Legion and WoD follower/missions systems. I want to have my own little home on Azeroth again with npcs that do my bidding.
Oh and Ogres. Definitely Ogres as a playable class. Thanks Blizz.
So, if Azeroth is elemental, that means that not all races are not of Azeroth. Elves are of elune, orcs, and dranei are obviously of Argus. Maybe the different forces putting other races that are not native to Azeroth are meant to destroy the creations of the Titans
So glad Metzen is back.
Since this guy is literally never right. This means Azeroth is a nice family retreat and the most free place in the universe. Nothing to do with a prison

1. When I think about how Titans are born I think about that God awful Marvel Movie "The Eternals"
Belular must be subscribed to Doronsmovies
my gues is that azaroth is the mother of titans and that the conlifct between sargarus and the other titans might have played a role in her inprisonment.
so azaroth might be one of the first ones and they might sort of be the first children of the god of the universe of warcraft.
i pretty much think that azaroth is to warcraft what lady eternity is to the marvel universe.
i really dont like them making the titans badguys all of a sudden, i liked it when they were just morally grey and saw things different than mortals, kinda like algalon from ULD he was the perfect example of what the titans should be something who truly believes he has to stop us but we prove them wrong by beating them
Hey bro what is the song that plays in the background at 7:28 ? I've been trying to find it for a while
It's the Jailer theme
@@Doronsmovies Thanks so much
I have a feeling we will need to re-imprison azeroth in the final expansion.
Hope you are right 100% ill return here in a couple of years
@NoobodyZ lol thanks, who knows what Blizzard has in store nowadays? It's really an uncharted Waters here.
@@Boss-ot1iy Peace and order aren't the same thing, so either read a dictionary or watch them again.
5:25 Anduin spinning his sword in the sand, thinking. Next cut is sargeras after stabbing azeroth. Coincidence, or good editing??
what is azaroth is a half titan and half elemental? it make sense with both lores
best video yet
Plot twist in BFA we didn't save Azeroth we resealed her again whit the Azerite.
every pantheon are the same power lvl either death, order, fel, life, light, dark
This is more cosmic shit I can't be arsed about. Azeroth is the world we live on. That's all I need to know. All this talk about Azeroth this, Titans that... It's a bunch of Lunatic talk if you ask me - get it? Elune? Lunatic?
Bet it’s the “fifth” element of spirit/soul that was devoured by the other 4 elements
The world soul saga might kill off the older heroes like thrall, and Jaina just to make way for others.
Anyone else starting to think that Elune is placed there as a watcher for Azeroths prison? If what he says is true, I could see it.
Maybe we're the villains and they're the hero's who try to stop us
Well when it comes to World of Warcraft the war, I'm honestly starting to have doubts that the Titans really are good guys.
Now we have Azeroth the Elemental? Enough. Wild speculation for speculation's sake.
yeah but whats under bael moden?
Then after this saga is done they can focus back on WAR
What about the ring and runes in the WoW planet logo? Maybe it's an obvious clue
why would the rest of the cosmic forces care about Azeroth if it was just an Elemental Lord and not a vulnerable Titan Soul that is supposedly the most powerful being in creation?
If the Titans were created in Zereth Ordus, and they didn't born out of world souls... Then how did Argus rise?
He doesn't play the game. I wouldn't bother trying to make sense of his garbage
So basically every villain is a good guy now? Typical Blizzard
Man this is a mess. I liked the baby Titan concept way more.
So just like real life? Shoutout to all my gnostics
I believe everyone is making WAAAAAY too big a deal over this stupid logo. They just wanted a logo that looked... "Titanish", so they used Titan assets to create one of what was certainly many many designs and this one was the most pleasing to the art department. To listen to multiple channels go on and on with full tin foil hats about the particular assets used to create box art and how they have some "secret hidden meanings" is just getting ridiculous.
what if it's an egg that will hatch a titan?
yea but why would it take years for her to finally speak? Sarg and Syl would have broke those chains YEARS ago especially with the time leap after SL...otherwise it makes sense.
Even if she is right it still does not make her any kind of hero. There have many villains throughout history that had good intentions but what made them villianous were the actions they took in order to get there. The ends do not justify the means.
the runes on the ring are not domination magic.
This is what you get when the writing team are scrambling around for new story ideas. Use some older lines to patch a story together and then wink at the player and pretend you knew what you were doing all along and that it was all some sort of master plan...
Sylvanas will return in Worldsoul Saga 😉
By the way things are setup and even the new 10.2.5 items almost certainly it will happen soon.
I hope not
god cant they just kill her off already they already removed most of characters I loved, there only tyranda and thrall left

The logos are the colors of shalamayne
I think Azeroth is either the Last of the First Ones or the most powerful of them!
The war within is going to begin to unravel the Titans plans, its antagonist is going to be sometging or someone pretty irrelevant. Perhaps even a titan civil war resulting in the title "war within"
Midnight is going to foil those plans and the void lords are going to officially debut as the worst antagonists yet. They will be released at the end of the titan civil war if thats the route taken
The final titan is exactly that. Midnight is going to kill the remaining titans. And the last titan (could be azeroth) will awaken and restore peace to the peace to the planet by wiping out the voidlords alongside the heroes and restoring piece as the dark purple void logo is replaced with light.
This is my theory.
Doron, if your theory comes true, do you think Azeroth will be friendly or hostile to the mortal races of Azeroth?
I think friendly honestly.
I hope you are right. Why do you think Azeroth would be friendly?
Wow in 5 years sum it up Zovaal was actually badass
so if we go by the lovecraftian lore which this is largely based.
Oh please, evil is evil.
Soon Big free for all!

holy fuck. i love this.
No she wasn't right and she should stay in Maw forever #NoSylvanasinAzeroth
But simps are gonna be simps, they believe that Sylvanas is a perfect saint and/or goddess who did never did anything wrong.
the same happens in planet earth btw
but what about magni then? as far as we are aware he is in permanent "conversation" with azeroth itself -- so if that would be true then why didn't he knows what azeroth truely is. cause she would have told him then that every cosmic force wants a piece of the cake and that the titans are hiding some crucial information from us. cause what would azeroth get out of it for hiding the info from us if she is in this cage without her own consent
No, Azeroth only tells him She is suffering and hurting.
"The king of diamonds has been made a pawn." oh no are we going back to this again xD
His brain turned to diamond you can't trust anything he says
@TheRealAb216 even if he is now controlled by azeroth itself -- still, what is the point of hiding what she is and why she got imprisoned? she knows that we are gonna help her if she asks -- cause she is our home. and i assume she doens't wants to get ripped apart from all the other cosmic forces to begin with
This shows Sylvanas did nothing wrong. Dark Lady watch over you.
What if Azeroth was once free and the planet is a prison that was created to imprison her. Maybe she’s the last of the First One?
Then she should stay imprisoned or all peoples on Azeroth will die when she get out.
@@efaristi9737 I think it depends on how she comes out of it. Tali made a good video about that
i wonder if they are planning to do something like the end times from warhammer after the last titan ends, the warhammer fans didn't like age of sigmar but i think it could be cool if it's done well, the game is from 2004 so they'll have to make a new one at some point because of the advances in technology, plus the expansion is called the last titan which might also be a hint that wow is gonna end, it would be kinda sad to see it end but i really like the idea of wow 2.
Well, at some point, Blizzard will have to renew WOW if they want to continue to exploit it.
