    Thanks! Short and to the point. I like that because I'm in the middle of making a journal and needed this info. It's nice not to have to look through a million hours to find what I need! Thanks again!

    Thank you thank you thank you !!! I feel like I've seen so many videos on simple ways to make this type of journal cover but they always come across as so complicated to me. Your explanation of 4times the length of the journal is so perfect. I have different sizes journals I am using for a D&D game I've been playing for a couple years now and I want to keep them all together since they are all roughly an A5 size, but not exactly. I'm so excited. I just need to get some elastic because I have the cover fabric I want to use and the tools to make a hole! Thank you!!!

    Thank you! Your method makes more sense than what I have been doing: starting in the center.

    I read the comments and thought: reef knot ? I thought it was a square knot. Turns out two knames same knot. Either way , I wonder if it’s in danger of being tugged out of the centre hole? Never know till you try. Love your tutorials, short and sweet!

    Very well explained. Just wondering if there’s a way to have the knot end up in the center of the book instead of the back?

    • @AtticLane
      @AtticLane  5 років тому +1

      Hi Kristine - I haven't tried that because I prefer my knot at the back. Thinking it through I guess it would mean you end up with your double elastic row at the back or front of your book. Let me know if you try it! :) xx

    I have never heard of a reef knot maybe it just depends on what part of the world your from, but googling reef knot I found that reef knot and square knot are one in the same

    Another winning video, Deborah! Is there a way to send you a private message? I tried via the Attic Lane site, but I could not get the ‘send’ button to activate.

      Hi Sue and thanks for your comment! Sorry the website didn't work, I have technical problems with that beyond my capabilities so perhaps the easiest would be a DM via my Etsy store? www.etsy.com/uk/shop/atticlanestudio
